I think NRS should start its own comic line and do what Marvel does and release "What-if" scenarios, so fans can joke around and get an idea at the same time.

The endings are technically already what if scenarios. But they can't reach the caliber of having a whole cyber roster, zombie roster, or whatever wacky idea. Challenge tower sort of scratches the surface, but that takes alot of development. Comics and books are better suited. Now can you dig it?

#1: END THE REVENGE ANGLE. No more vendetta against Sub. No more vendetta against Quan Chi. No more vendetta period. If this is all that can be done with him, then do what was done with Sub: Pass the mantle on. Not the most original solution, but it might be interesting to have a living Scorpion, or some such; perhaps a survivor of the Shirai Ryu.

He was most interesting when he was to be the Elder Gods' champion - the only time he wasn't angry at something or someone. I don't care what it is, he just needs to do something different.

#2: Less Ghost Rider. Johnny Blaze was rocking a flaming skull, leather and chains fucking decades before Hanzo Hasashi came along. And when ol' Hanz made his first appearance, he was a dead ninja. Not a dead biker. He desperately needs to go back to his ninja roots; it's hilarious how out of the entire cast, we constantly hear "Scorpion is the only actual ninja" and now, arguably he looks the least like one. Rope for spear, cloth for clothing, head not on fire, please.

It's not the only way to improve him, but if they want Scorpion to be more appealing, have him evolve as a character, we have 3 Cyborgs already, only two of them aren't rehashes, but back on topic, Scorpion needs to move on storywise,

I'm so tired of seeing him do the same things, he needs to evolve and you'd think the poster boy of the series would do as much, he needs to finally get his revenge on Quan Chi in the sequel and then move on, it would be nice to see him no longer angry and serving a greater good.

He also needs to go back to basics costume wise, he's too gaudy as it stands now, something simple, like this pick made by forum user Kinetic would be great.

I also want to see Scorpion become harder to master gameplay wise and since he's a popular character, him having less accessible gameplay wouldn't hurt him, whereas a less popular character also having hard to master gameplay really hurts them.

I think I could get behind this. Particularly if Quan Chi deactivates the other robots Scorp is networked with. So their feud is exactly the same, but with Scorp swearing cyber-revenge. "Quan Chi, how do I hate thee? Let me calculate the ways. 000110011001001111001."

I've always found Scorpion the most interesting ninja en perhaps the most interesting male character of the MK universe in general. I love most of his outfits, his powers are awesome and his storyline is cool too, though I agree that it requires a new aspect. I feel the same about Ryu btw. I like simple characters. For the idea of Scorpion being turned into a cyborg? I could definitely see it happen... But there's got to be ways to fix him so that he doesn't melt in the lava or anything when he travels back to Hell...

Granted that Cyrax's armor was allowing him to retrieve Nitara's orb, still... the fires of Hell could probably melt him like that!

I get the gneral message about this message and the whole idea of turning him into a cyborg...well, it's not really a good idea to me. I mean, we already have two awesome cyborgs named Sektor and Cyrax...i think that is enough to make anyone's day. lol

But think about this, if they were say to "change him into a cyborg ninja" wouldn't that destroy his character? I mean, not bragging over here but scorpion is pretty freakin awesome already! In my opinion, we should just leave him alone...i mean yeah, they were fucking around with a cyborg sub-zero (aka Tundera) but that was just like a joke,it wasn' t to be taken seriously...thank god.

But anyways, my opinion is that we should just leave his character alone and instead of trying to change his "specture" appearance, they should try to improve on it, like they have been over the last 9 games...and so far, i'm loving what i am seeing. But what i think they should do in my opinion is instead of having scorpy and subby face off, i think they should come together as one ultimate team and turn their anger and revenge against Quan Chi...like i don't know, trick him into thinking that they hate each other than turn that against him. For people who have already played all of these games and have kept up with them, we all know that Scorpion found out the truth about the slaughter of his clan and at one point, went after Quan Chi. (Which kinda failed horribly) I think they should do an unusally team up kinda thing with those two, like something silimar to MK vs DC Universe, Ya'know?

They should focus more on other characters with weak background stories. If anything the cyborgs now should be improved with new moves like in legacy w the electric attack we saw from hydro.
