Mortal Kombat's just embracing a niche. I hate to break this to ya, but sexuality in video games has escalated IMMENSELY over the years. Shit like what we're seeing today just wouldn't fly back in the SNES days. It really didn't take long for Mortal Kombat to start putting their women in skimpy clothing. MK3... psh. Then we got huge busts in Mortal Kombat 4, right when they could actually depict the women in the manor they wanted to.

Sorry, but when I look at MK4 Kitana and MK(2011) Kitana... I really don't see anything drastic.

Well, I don't think it's that drastic a change. A change, yes. But not a big one.

I don't know, it's fantasy for me, always has been.

Sonya in a jumpsuit looks just as goofy as Sonya in a jacket, heavy pants, and heeled boots.

But I guess that's just what's been argued since Sonya's tits showed up on that magazine scan.

OMG.......BOOBS!!!!

Seriously, it's not like they just introduced big boobs in MK (points at all the pictures of page #5). Sonya's still the most modest and covered up gal of the cast.

I also noticed that Jax & Sonya's outfits compliment each other! I love that since their partners and all!! Both have knee pads and the dark green pants both are sporting!!! I dig it! Now I need need to see Stryker and MY "Clique" is complete!

The fuck? Kitana and Sindel would like a word, thanks. This is the first game where we even get a bare midriff from Kitana, and we won't ever see that in a Sindel outfit, at least not completely exposed. I don't see an overwhelming lack of boob coverage or exposed thongs or nonsensically slutty costumes on either of them.

I agree with you about Kitana. I really don't get the hate at all for her outfit. I mean, I didn't like it as much when I first saw it, but it's grown a LOT on me.

I think she looks gorgeous in it. Her breasts aren't overly exposed, just her midriff, and she's at least got a long cloth in the front. But the coloring and the boots just give a really pretty look to me. One of my favorites now.

I adore Kitana's outfit. The exposed midriff wasn't the huge stretch people made out to be. It's more conservative than Jade's main in Deception, and as far as I know, that was a well-received costume.

Jade was given a bit of an Amazon makeover in MKD, so there wasn't much dissatisfaction when that one was debuted. It seemed appropriate. Still does.

It's Kitana's status as a princess, someone of class and royalty, that inclines folks to think she shouldn't be showing too much skin. At this point in the story she's still under Kahn and hasn't outright rebelled yet, so I've got no problems with her outfit.

Your right about the cleavage, but I was going more on the percentage of skin exposed. Jade's costume has the two strips of cloth converging over her chest, leaving more of her midsection and under arms exposed.

I'm a little worried we won't see Jade in this iteration, at least from the get go. It bothers me because she's one of the characters that I REALLY want to see what costume they go with, and how it falls in sync with Kitana and Mileena. I think she'd look absolutely gorgeous in this game. The graphics are so good, and Jade is just one of those characters it'd be a shame to leave out... especially for Kratos *grumble*

And yet Jade is, in her way, VERY siimilar to Kitana and Mileena. I understand they are a triad, and you're prolly tired of hearing me mention her, but if Sheeva was excuded and Jade got in as well, lol. It'd be a sad day for Shokans. Bad enough about Kratos, and only traitorous Goro as the shokan rep? tsk guilt guilt shame guilt shame

Oh sorry boob size yeah. Compared to Sonya's, Sindel's mams are li'l muffins right? pics nao!!

I don't think Jade is going to make it in either. I hope I'm wrong but I think she's going to be what Johnny Cage was to MKvsDCU.

Well, Noob Saibot made it, and he contributed nothing to the first three games. Jade worked for Kahn in MK2 and assisted Reptile to hunt down Kitana in MK3, so I'd say she's significantly more important. On top of that, there's a huge shortage of females in the first three games, so if Noob made the cut, I'd be damn surprised if Jade did not.

You might say they've saving her for DLC, but I'd assume Noob would sell better in that category. At the end of the day, I don't think Jade fans have anything to worry about.

They really don't need to worry at all, because Jade's desert is in the game. Thats a given at this point.
