Just a quick question @CCShadow. I know you mentioned last week that custom profile pics had to be uploaded in the pictures section and be approved by a mod. Any idea how long that takes?

Yes, existing private messages are deleted. However, we have them backed up, and I'm looking to see if I can load them into the new chat system. It'll take some time, though, and it isn't the highest priority right now.

I've been on these forums since the mk5.org days, and I noticed my posts went down significantly after the update. I used to have way more than 571. Not sure if that is a bug or not, or how that would affect my user ranking?

My post tally has stopped going up when i post.

It would be nice if the page numbers were also at the bottom when viewing a topic. It's a little annoying having to scroll back to the top. Especially, on a mobile device.

A link back to the forum at the bottom would be helpful, as well.

A topic search option would be good.

I have a question... On the new layout I can only see one news and it's the latest one and no other link to older news as it was in the previous incarnation of the site. Is this intentional? Only one news always? Can you at least give link to like 5 previous news at the bottom as before? Thank you in advance.

PS. Will the mk5.org link work as before? Because now when i enter it I have to click on the big "go to MKO", whereas before it took me straight to the main site.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned by anyone or not, but my post number has been at a static 457 for at least two weeks now. I haven't posted often since then, but frequently enough to notice that the number hasn't changed in some time. Thanks in advance for any answers or general help you can provide, folks. Nice to see things are looking up around here.

EDIT: Well, now it's at 458, lol. I'll keep an eye on it the next time I post something and provide any further feedback on this issue should it reoccur.

EDIT #2: So, having posted again, my post count is increasing as it should. As I stated previously, I will give an update should this issue arise again.

Minor bug - search functionality at the top of the pages either does not work or takes a very long time to deliver results (upwards of 5 minutes)

Can the "Legacy Mortal Kombat Emoticons" be placed on top of the Flag emojis?

I believe the proper ranking in the military is:
- Unit
- Corps
- Emoji
- Country

Also, a lot of those old school emojis are great. Some of them I don't believe I've ever seen before.

Uhh... also, how do you add emojis to posts? It wasn't working for me when I tried, but now it seems that it's actually used as a "like" feature for other posts? Hmm.... Someone clue in the new guy over here.

I see that Dragon Points are still a thing on this site, yet I don't see an explanation on-site regarding how they're awarded/deducted to/from a user. I noticed that I was sitting at -6 (no surprise there given my previous habits when frequenting this site) and then was downgraded to -7 with no explanation provided. It's not that Dragon Points are a big deal to me. It's the lack of communication between moderators and users that I find bothersome. It's just disappointing is all.

EDIT: It may have been because I replied with consecutive posts in a thread. The quoting system is...broken, so it's a bit difficult to respond to multiple users without dealing with the hassle of that. If that's the reason for the one-point deduction in my Dragon Points, then it'd have been nice to been notified of the reason for the penalty.

You actually got rated downward on one of your posts because of the tone and language used, so the additional deduction was valid.

Posting rapidly is fine; we just have a small timeout before we allow it again.
