UPDATE TIEM!

MORTAL KOMBAT DEADLY ALLIANCE OMEGA RIP - Updated to Ver. 2.5:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M5XFVMUJ

WHAT'S NEW:

-I split TRACK #35 - TEST YOUR SIGHT into separate, smaller files, each containing an individual sound cue.

-More importantly,I've managed to obtain the full, looped version of the track that plays during the actual Test Your Sight trial. The track is #36 - TEST YOUR SIGHT.

The archive contains tracks 35 to 49. If you have my ver. 2.0 rip (the one uploaded in one of the first three posts of this thread),just delete track 35 and everything after it and replace them with the files in the archive.

OR,if you have time and bandwidth to spare, here's the full v. 2.5 rip:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QTCKK86Y

MORTAL KOMBAT I ARCADE KOMPLETE RIP:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0C8T3BZ3

Remember the rip of Mortal Kombat for the Sega CD that I uploaded before?
Get rid of that shit, you don't need it anymore.
This here is what I hope is the definitive soundtrack for the original arcade game. To my knowledge, this has every single track from the game. Some of these I got from the official MK2 OST. If you remember,I was complaining about how the tracks from MK1 that were included on the OST were for some reason in horrendous quality. Through the magic of channel mixing,I think I fixed that. Give it a listen.

MORTAL KOMBAT 2 ARCADE KOMPLETE RIP:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RB7CSQOL

Same deal - a definitive,all-inclusive soundtrack rip of the MK2 arcade. The battle arena tracks came straight from the MK2 OST. The only thing I did was make them a bit louder and trimmed the long silences.

MORTAL KOMBAT ANNIHILATION ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SCORE:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5P1PDSY5

Ah,this one's a rarity - an actual score of the second movie by George S. Clinton.
To be completely honest,I didn't even know it existed until about a week ago. =)

Enjoy!

You mean the TV show? Good luck looking for that, lol. It might technically be possible to salvage at least something from the actual episodes, though.

I think you may be wrong about the "THE IMMORTALS - MORTAL KOMBAT CD SINGLE" There is only one version. The one you uploaded, I'm fairly confident, is just the regular cd (actually referred to as the Maxi Single) with some extra songs thrown in by an internet user. The Maxi Single was released on November 30, 1993 while those last 3 songs weren't even made until 1997. Song #7 on your list is actually called Techno Syndrome ('97 Mix). I have the single cd it comes from, it's called "Tracks from Mortal Kombat Annihilation Original Motion Picture Soundtrack." This cd only has 5 songs on it. The '97 Mix was never released on the actual soundtrack though, it was re-done and released as song #6 on that list and #1 on the actual soundtrack as Encounter the Ultimate. However, I really can't account for that last track on there. I don't seem to have that exact mix on any of my cd's but it sounds like something between the '97 Mix and the Encounter the Ultimate. Like maybe they were re-doing the '97 Mix and created this one then re-did it again and finally created and released Encounter the Ultimate. Either that or it could possibly just be a mix created by an internet user. If you want to convince me there is another version that actually has 8 songs on it, I wanna see a picture of the cd case, otherwise, I'm very doubtful.

thanks so much for posting these! especially the MK2 arcade rip. I have been searching for the MK2 version of the music for Goro's Lair for soooo long! and thanks loved the Annihilation Score as well. George S. Clinton is an awesome talent.

does a version of either the original MK movie them titled Techno Syndrome in the first and Encounter the Ultimate in Annilation exist without the sound fx or announcer over the audio. every mix or alteration of those I keep finding all have the announcers name. You would think one of the single releases to the songs would have it but don't. hmph.

anyhow...thanks again for the super rarities...you are a paragon!

Mortal Kombat theme remix by the famous Dr. Luke

(aka the most popular music producer in the world right now, though here he is credited as "Kasz")

Just thought I share as it's the best Remix of the MK theme I've ever heard.

As [K]ombat pointed out in the other thread...

The cassette version of "More Kombat" had a 16th song: "Electronic Behavior Control System Ver2.0" by Electronic Broadcast Network (EBN)

Luckily the song can be sampled and even purchased from Amazon from its original album (as listed in the track listing image above). You may need to turn to page 2 to hear it: http://www.amazon.com/Emergency-Broadcast-Network/e/B000APYLW8/ref=ac_dpt_sa_nc_link

This web site claims to have a copy of the MK Conquest soundtrack. I haven't listened to it yet and never watched MKC so maybe someone can confirm this --> (right click and choose save link as or save target as)

It appears someone started a forum like this elsewhere and claim to have every MK CD known to exist. A brief look says they're pretty much right except for the Annihilation sampler, though their DOTR + Conquest combo is small, so most likely not complete. -

OMG Bless this thread. I've been looking for old-school MK tunes. I've always loved that sound.

I agree with another poster, that the original trilogy's sound was both dark but energetic. The last couple of tunes have been :/

Just in case everyone else didn't already tip you off, this thread kicks absolute ass.
I didn't know the Annihilation score existed. Man, what fangasm. The music is by far the best thing about that movie.

By the way, I'm a little surprised no one else addressed the backwards voice in the Unknown track in MK3 extras. I reversed it, and it turns out to be the poem, "Tis the Voice of the Lobster," from Alice in Wonderland.

'Tis the voice of the Lobster: I heard him declare
"You have baked me too brown, I must sugar my hair."
As a duck with its eyelids, so he with his nose
Trims his belt and his buttons, and turns out his toes.
When the sands are all dry, he is gay as a lark,
And will talk in contemptuous tones of the Shark;
But, when the tide rises and sharks are around,
His voice has a timid and tremulous sound.
I passed by his garden, and marked, with one eye,
How the Owl and the Panther were sharing a pie:
The Panther took pie-crust, and gravy, and meat,
While the Owl had the dish as its share of the treat.
When the pie was all finished, the Owl, as a boon,
Was kindly permitted to pocket the spoon;
While the Panther received knife and fork with a growl,
And concluded the banquet by --- *

Pretty cool, and weirdly random.
EDIT: I also felt like contributing something. So here are the songs that were supposed to be on the original Mortal Kombat soundtrack, but were cut due to licensing issues:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OMPS09UR

All three songs are performed by Stabbing Westward. I ripped them from their album Ungod, then relabeled them just to make it a neat little package for your MK Soundtrack folder. Here's how I altered them and where they occur:

Lost:
I faded out at the end, because it cut right into the next song on the album.
This song occurs during the scene where Shang Tsung's boat first docks the Chai Wan Bay, and where Kano says, "That's it baby, come to papa." It also occurs after Liu Kang and Johnny Cage arrive in Outworld.

Lies:
I faded out at the beginning and the end, because once again, each song cuts directly into the next one on the album.
This song occurs during the first fight of the tournament, where Liu Kang fights the monk (Hakeem).

Can't Happen Here:
I trimmed a few seconds off the intro, and faded it in as well, because the intro is very long, and most of it is just noise.
This song occurs when Liu Kang first arrives at the Temple of the Order of Light.

Biohazard,you're fucking amazing.

I was going to eventually comb through the credits for the movies and track down any of the songs that never made it into any of the OSTs,but you just saved me a ton of work. Thanks, bro. :3

2Everyone:

I'm sorry for not updating for so long. I do have a bunch of stuff on the way that I've been wanting to upload for the longest time, like the Amiga MK soundtracks, but because I have fucking exams every two days,I never have the time.

And while we're all waiting for that, here's another song that was cut from the movies. This one was from the final battles of MK Annihilation, called "9D Galactic Center" but Hanzel und Gretel.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/almtlg

The one other song that's missing from the soundtrack (that was also during the final battles with Ermac and Motaro and all them) is called Shreddd (Brutality Mix) by Urban Voodoo. And I couldn't find that particular track anywhere to save my life. I'm pretty sure that it was never officially released.
