Mark "Conan" Stevens

http://www.conanstevens.com

The guy is a 7ft tall and 330 pound Astrialian bodybuilder + martial arts ACTOR, with over 12 Pro film shoots, and he resides in Thailand.

His acting histroy even includes stage theatre acting too.

Here is his Bio/ Resume: http://www.conanstevens.com/biography.html

Some pics too:

Way better of a choice than Brian Thompson ever was in that 1997 MK flop.

Ohh, sorry.

Maybe a mod can move it there.

If anyone has decent photoshoping skills and could put the Shao khan costume on him, I think he would look the part.

Diesel?

He is like 6'1" and 210 pounds. ;-/ So he is the same size as Brian Thompson was. Keeping in mind THompson was considered too small, and looked cartoony with the helmet and costume on.

Then there is the fact that VIn Diesel would want the mask off for 99% of the film, to show more of his face, and have to spend half the entire budget on his paycheck, not to mention wanting way more screen time than anyone else.

OR there is a 7ft 330 pounds, ripped, relatively unknown actor who is skilled in martial arts, AND trained and skilled melee weapons fighting, including a large hammer. He even used one when playing a giant warrior for a softdrink commercial in Thailand.

While I am sure Conan Stevens would like to be paid, he would surely not demand a 20,000,000 paycheck like Diesel would either.

If any one wants to try to photoshop khans armor and mask on him and see how it looks, this would be a good image:

compare to Jeff Meek:

Jeff is about the smallest/weakest /oldest looking Shao Khan they could find.

If a new movie is made, pic a guy like Stevens, who can act (12+ film roles under his belt), and looks the role too.

That guy fits the bill visually. I'd need to see him act and hear him talk.

Meeks was an okay Raiden with a good voice for Raiden. AND he was a good Shao Kahn with the right voice and acting skills and martial arts experience. So overall he was better.....But I think that almost everyone used for any MK media in the past could be too old now.

Besides all the analytical stuff, I just wanna see something refreshing and new. Refreshing in the way that more familiar, more experienced actors take parts of MK characters(respectively though, not just thrown in there). New, in the way that nothing should have that cursed B-rated aura surrounding Mk media anymore.

All this is my opinion of course, but I really am wanting Mortal Kombat to step it up, if and when they toy with live action media in the future.

Meeks was cool, but we need a replacement.

If Shao Kahn is to unmask, I think he should look like this.

Picture this actor with red eyes and prosthetics forming the spikes of his head. Think that would work well on screen?

That big guy, Conan or whatever his name is, is definitely the guy.

Just shove Shao Kahn's mask and cape on him and we will think the game has become real.

What you people are forgetting is that Shao Kahn is far more than just a big bald brute strong looking guy. Hell, the reason why I loved him in MKC was because he was twisted, evil, brilliant and dominant. That bald guy people are posting pics of looks like someone the MKC Kahn would order around and then choke to death. That's the mistake they made in MKA. Brian Thompson looked like a rough guy, but he didn't look intelligent like Kahn should.

Big Show is bigger than this guy, he's too skinny id' like Khan to be a bit wider as well - Big Show has th perfect phsyqiue for Khan id say, he also has great charsima, acting ability i'm not sure, but great charisma and that could carry through onto the screen. It's just you'd get the whole negative view of a wrestler trying to act when he may actually be able to do a great job.

As for now Meek was the best Khan but i'd love to see a less cowardly-Khan a much wiser and more threatening version if he is to be in an MK film

Shao Kahn is awesomely muscular, not fat. How the hell does the Big Show of all people in pro wrestling, have ''the PERFECT physique'' for Kahn? In every game I've seen Kahn, he's always incredible muscles. Show has incredible fat.
