Kahn... yea, I hardly notice any change on Kahn's outfit. It's negligible at best.

Mileena ad much less of a reason to wear those skimpy outfits back then, than she does now. She was portrayed as a jealous, conniver... not a playful sadist. But rationalize it however you want. The same can be done for any character, really.

The game looks exactly like an evolution of all the themes Mortal Kombat has been expanding on... besides shitty gameplay, terrible new characters and crappy mini-games. They're now at the top of the gore chart again, their graphics are second to DoA's and their characters are again the most outrageous and fantastical out there.

This is the first Mortal Kombat to ever have technically sound gameplay... everything else is just an upgrade as far as I'm concerned.

Sorry to say it, but MK needs to do as much as it can to separate itself from its competition. It's gameplay is decent now, but if it were a new title with this engine, it wouldn't hold up. The more Mortal Kombat looks and acts like Virtua Fighter, DoA or Tekken... the less reason I have to play it.

I'm embracing this new MK and not looking back. Better gameplay, sexier girls, more gore... everything I want in a MK. I wipe my ass with Deadly Alliance, Deception and Armageddon.

I own Syco collectibles Kitana, Mileena and Jade statues. If Kitana was wearing that shit, I would never have bought her. That costume would be well at home in VF, Tekken or DoA... but not MK.

I've said all I have to say a million times now. I think I'm about done. Just stay crazy NRS. Don't hold back any of that shit.

Well, actually, no it's not.

Her MK2 costume was a form fitting lycra swimsuit with a black belt, blue knee high lycra flat shoes with black trimming around the tops, and matching elbow length gloves.

This is very clearly different, her whole costume on her body actually resembles a kung-fu gim whilst her gloves and boots have a lot more decoration on them than before with the black ribbon wrapping around them.

I like it. But I do think she needs a mask when she's dressed as a ninja, personally.

Presumably that's a criticism, but I think if you indulge to its logical conclusion, that's actually the point. Something more elaborate might be nice, but it doesn't take much to start to make palatable improvements.

That actually looks a little weird to me. Maybe it's the hair.

Just compare MKDA's Johnny Cage and the one in mk2, trilogy or even MK9. Or Kano (with the exception of MK3 and 9) or anyone else.

Mortal Kombat games have been steadily pursuing more revealing and oversexed outfits for their females since... ever.

What "new direction" are you speaking of? The completely unrelated Legacy series? Yea... no reason they should change their established direction.

As for the outfit... it's... boring to me and not sexy aside from the thigh-highs. The garb looks like a mini-apron and reminds me of Mai from Fatal Fury 2 in 1992. I'd prefer any of her other designs to that. Just looks too mundane.

And yea, the hair looks like 70's Wonder Woman style and it's certainly not ignorant to recognize that the costume is more reminiscent of her MK2 outfit than any of the others.
