I was never really a fan of her look. Didn't really think she fit Kitana or Mileena but I gotta give them that: this costume is AMAZING! No stupid bra-loincloth we see in every game! This is how a female assassin should look like <3

Now that is a good costume. I'm glad the costume designers aren't making our l females look like sluts. Ed Boon & Co. can get a fucking hint.

This costume is superior to what we've seen in the games. I'm really glad that there is a sense of practicality given to the costume designs.

Man, this season looks like it has a great costume department. This costume looks way more authentic and cool than the first season's pathetic attempt. Not only that, but it's also a lot more fitting for Kitana than her in-game costume. This actually looks stealthful, efficient, and comfortable for fighting. The in-game costume looks like something a stripper would wear. Kitana is an assassin; this looks like an assassin's outfit. I can't wait to see it in action.

This outfit is amazing! I've been waiting for Kitana to get something like this ever since MKDA. It's a shame she's never had anything like it in the games. It reminds me of Taki in soul Calibur and it fits Kitana perfectly. Boon and co should take note.

Honestly, that is not surprising or shocking at all.

Most of us, MK Fans, have already proven that *we* understand the essence of the characters and the MK world much better than most of the main crew (?) over at NRS.

If that wasn't the case, we wouldn't have gotten the blasphemies that we got concerning the female characters designs in MK9 (and many more questionable designs/things from their art department) as well as the *huge huge HUGE* problem with story-mode (by damaging it with the "Character Chapters" limiting concept).

I realize that the above post might come off as egocentric or worse, but, seriously, I don't care. Its the truth. I find it hard to believe that anyone would be surprised.

There are so many talented fans out there who have done a much better job at capturing the real essence of MK's world via art work, fan fiction, fan videos, and fan projects that surpass the "original" ideas that NRS came up with in the most recent games, specially MKA and MK9, that it actually makes me upset to think about it.

PS: Yes, I love MK9 and I love the NRS team. But, often I just wonder what happens with their direction and how they can possibly mess up so many great opportunities so badly.

However, I do hope we get to see Kitana in one of her royal gowns, much like Talisa Soto in the first film.

I'd rather a "blue" dress instead of a purple one, but ths is her best movie attire ever. Video games wise, I still like her UMK3 and MK vs DCU look.

I've seen Subby and Kitana. I love how practical and not overdone they look, the kind of aestetics I always wished the games had.

Sub-Zero's costume is nothing near of what I link to the whole "Sub-Zero" concept. It's just a black tight with a blue-samurai-esque vest on it.
This is nothing a Lin Kuei would look like; okay, perhaps the attires of the games are too much detailed (not that is a bad thing, btw), but what about the costumes used in the first movie? And Scorpion in Legacy? The Samurai Mask kinda worked, but in the end his attire wasn't that different from the one used by Chris Cassamassa in the first movie and Conquest.

No, I'm sorry to tell you that Tagawa returning as Shang Tsung and Kitana's costume are the only two things I'd save as for now.

It's exactly how Kitana should look at this point in the story. Seriously, she's always deserved a costume like this. Something practical, efficient, yet undeniably feminine. Whilst I've grown to the point where I'm no longer bothered by her's or Mileena's costumes in MK9, I still wish we got something like this in the new games.

The funny thing is, fans CRAVE this for Kitana. I remember when her first promo image came out for MK9 where she's fighting Cyrax in the Belltower and people were asking then for a more modest, believable Ninja Costume. She's the only female ninja in the series who should have anything like this.

Jade rocks the swimsuit look, and Skarlet actually needs the thong and bra so she can soak herself in blood for strength. Mileena could easily have a more "vampy" version of this (exposed hip sides of her legs, the draw strings from UMK3 crossing her cleavage holding her bustiere together, more form fitting costume). I don't know why for the games the developers struggle so much to think of costumes like this for the girls. This is truly way more creative and intriguing than what we've seen from the games in years.

Nice. It's been far too long since I couldn't see a female MK cast member's exposed cleavage and buttocks. Well done, as it should be. :D

Kitana's in-game costume serves its purpose and this more realistic, live action rendition serves its own.
