I know, I know but his design was so bad it was good kind of deal. On topic, Fujin is long overdue for his reapperance in MK he has been left out since 97, maybe they will finally kill off Raiden and allow Fujin to step in.

Glad to see him. But he didnt have an updated design, and neither did Reiko, which makes me very sad. Jax and Mileena looked updated, and some unknown ninja. so i think that might be a clue as to who is in. But Im still keeping my fingers crossed for Fujin and Reiko.

Oh my gosh, you're right, it COULD be a clue.
It's so scary lol.... if Tanya were to suddenly appear in a komic with no brand new kostume....
I hope Tanya has a new kostume!!!!

He looks kind of displeased, but so boss! Love him!

Yes his is updatet compared to his most recent design is MK2011 (cameo apperence). http://mortalkombat.wikia.com/wiki/Fujin/Gallery?file=Fujin.png
Now he looks more mature and wiser, also there are some costume changes.
And i'm thinking he has a big part in the story and battle against the Netherrealm.

It's slightly updated from Armageddon...I think.
Still that doesn't necessarily confirm or deconfirm anyone.

There are two of him in the 3rd chapter at/near the end. Also go to twitter and search for @kunglaomkx15 and there you will find a pic of Fujin from the comic.

I've always liked the current comic series, and Fujin's return made it even better for me.
Fujin's confirmation for MKX is all I need now.

Am I the only MK fan who loves Jax? He's been one of my favorite characters since back in the day. Same with Johnny Cage.

It's not unofficial/fanmade and the story is tied to the game lol. Appearing in the comic doesn't confirm playable though, you're right.

Just be cause a unofficial fan comic book features a character that doesn't mean he's going to be in Mortal Kombat X.
The comic doesn't decide whether or not a character doesn't make it, only the devs that make mortal kombat decide.

How is a comic published by a company that the owners of NRS and Mortal Kombat also own in any "unofficial" or a "fan comic", especially when NRS themselves are working closely with the creators?

The DC comics part caught me off guard, I hate to see that NRS sunk to a new low and merged the mortal kombat series with DC.

Just because something's published by DC or Marvel doesn't mean it takes place in the same universe

Uh.....what? Midway sunk and failed, DC has given them infinitely more paths to travel in terms of money, building a team, launching their products, they gave them a new hit franchise with Injustice by letting them use their characters and best of all, they are back in multiple media markets again with a comic series and a web series.
And where exactly have you been the last few years? They did the same exact thing with Injustice by giving it a comic series to expand the story. Don't really get how that could've caught you off guard unless you've been living under a rock in the world of NRS for several years. Also, just because DC publishes it, doesn't mean they co-exist in the same universe as Batman and Superman. They do not. DC has just given them a platform onto which to sell their comic. That's all.

The main reason why they sunk and fail was because they merged Mortal Kombat and DC's universes together. I don't care if the company is collaborating with Warner brothers making other products that happen to be DC related, I know all about that, I'm just praying they don't merge fucking batman and robin with Scorpion and Sub Zero. That's my main concern.
And I'm used to DC comics having Batman or any other DC character appearing in some way or shape and form, but if DC has nothing to do with any production that's Mortal Kombat related besides the comic book publishing then I'm straight.

Uh, no.
They sunk and failed because Midway had no other fucking profitable title EXCEPT Mortal Kombat. If they didn't do that crossover with DC, who knows where MK/NRS would have ended up after Midway tanked.

They were doing so well with only one profitable title from 1991-2008
We all know that DC VS MK was the final straw. It's a good thing Warner Brother's was appreciative with Ed's Dedication to their Sub Company and threw them a bone. A Pyrrhic victory that luckly benefited them thereafter.
