remar or whatever his name is is a great actor tho. loved him in the warriors and hes currently in the tv show "Dexter" that i watch every sunday on tmn.

After having watched the entire Conquest series on YouTube recently, definitely Meek. Lambert was a decent Rayden/Raiden, but after seeing Meek's rendition, I have to say he was the best. The man managed to play two very different characters extremely well, and I'm inclined to say he should play Shao Kahn too (Seriously, his version of Shao Kahn actually scared the hell out of me at the end of the series.)

Christopher Lambert without the shadow of a doubt. The guy who portrays Raiden in the second movie is a joke. He isnt an actor at all, he was chosen only because he can fight well. I never believed in his acting, not even a second. Sandra Hess and Shao Kahn are as bad as he is. Wow the second movie is shit.

I'm not sure any sentence in the history of the world could be further from the truth.
James Remar is a fantastic actor, mostly known for doing TV shows. He can't fight for shit, and that's why Ray Park, a fantastic martial artist mostly known for doing stunts, took over for him during combat scenes.
For some reason, Remar's performance is absolutely horrible in Annihilation. Probably poor direction and poor script writing.

James Remar is a good actor and has been in a lot of new line cinemas movies.But raiden really didn't suit him very much and a lot of it probably had to do with the fact that he wasn't even trying to get the part as raiden.He went in to get the part for johnny cage and got raiden instead.But most of the people,just like me,when they think of a actor playing raiden they think of CL and there no doubt that he was probably the best raiden out of them all.Meek was ok but I think his role was to much of playing jokes and kidding around alot.He play a great shao khan but I didn't like him to much as raiden to say he was the best one of them all.

Yep. It was actually pretty amazing how bad he was in MKA compared to all his other stuff. Newst thing I've seen him in is that T.V. Show "Dexter". And as seldom as you see him, he does great....again.

Rayden originally didnt seem to care about the earth fighters in the first game he was personally invited by Shang and i dont think he had any ties to the characters before the tournament, he oly entered to save earthrealm himself as he given a human body to compete in, he's not suppose to always look human its only for the tournaments

I agree with some of the others, I think of Raiden and picture Christopher Lambert.
