Nice edits, MINION. I like the Reiko one best, you should put some spikes on his shoulder pads and forearm guards. No offense btw but Chameleon's head kinda looks retarded for some reason.

Agreed. Some spikes would be cool.

Thanks a lot bro. I appreciate it. It turned out awesome. Don't worry about the other one. I don't need it.

Could someone please get rid of the "Rendered By: MINION" signs in those cut out renders of MK vs. DC Scorpion and Sub-Zero, so I can use them? Thanks.

I have no need to do that. I will soon be using Adobe. A friend of mine has it and will install it on my computer for me.. and show me how to use it.

So I finally bought Adobe Photoshop today, and just learned how to cut out pictures. I experimented with some loading screens from Deadly Alliance, and a picture of Kratos, the main character from the God of War series. I also experiemnted from some Deadly Alliance and Deception endings. Thought I would post them here.

Oh Cool. Umm, just from looking at them, I'd say stay away from small pictures, first. They don't work out most of the time. Second thing, is cut stuff with better image quality. Like, mmmm here, cut this out for me:
MK Card Game Raiden Created by Undon Crew.
Nice, big picture with a pretty definite outline. Although, you'll have to guess a little bit around his belly where the lightning is.
Once you get the hang of the pen tool, and have an eye for where you want the little anchors to go, cutouts like this Raiden should take you around 10min. Faster, and or better looking than that? Then you're better than me.
One last thing, don't forget to use the Feather feature. Looks like you know what that is, and how to use it already though. So, I'll leave that alone for now.
Let's see how you do on that one first. K?

Very good man. Looks pretty good.
Um, follow this tutorial on Cutting Jessica Alba. You'll run into Feathering around step 7. Everything is simply stated, and is the first tut I used on cutting a couple years back. I keep my Feathering around the base limit 0.02%, and I rarely ever need to go above 1%.
One Tip: Cut inside the render outline, not outside. Cutting inside the image outline, and then "Feathering" correctly makes your cutout look complete, without getting any of the background caught in the cutout itself.
It's a safe way to learn to cutout correctly, and separates you from "teh n00b" cutouts.
Two Tip: When you're setting your anchors, be sensitive to "rounded" corners, or "body curves". I can see that your eye isn't trained here yet, and it's making, where the curves should be, look like it's squared off.
It's cool though, because this is a perceptual thing alot of the time, and will take for you to be used to "the way curves work" in order to get good.
When you get good however, you can even create depth in the cutout where is was not, prior to you cutting the image.
Want another cutout? Or would you like to do this one again?

I'll just use that Jessica Alba one. It will be most fun.
Oh and that tutorial looks rad. Finally one that's simple to understand. I will be sure to do it soon.
EDIT: Thanks so much for that tutorial, ThePredator151. It helped a lot.
I use the Marquee Tool rather than the Pen Tool.
Each one is equaly effective but thats just how I differ.
I am pretty good at cutouts....the only disadvantage to the Marquee tool is that you cant make a mistake coz it will not let you go back.
