About your sig, Yu Yu Hakusho really truly is underrated, It is my favorite anime series, I still watch it sometimes and I have all the episodes and the Japanese movies on DVD, that sig looks glorious as well.

And maybe a select screen would be more realistic... or, profiles of the characters like you see in the arcade ladder, done in bracket format... or something.

If you all really want to make a group image, we could divide the work load. Everyone with artistic giftiness can take on a few portraits/characters and we can photo chop it all together... I'd be willing to contribute a couple portraits, but I don't know about full body in color work for a bunch of characters.

On the subject of "re-using" characters for the next contest, I'm still on the fence about it. Now that I have a record on the site of your characters (which I'll have to clean up at some point after the contest is over) I can compare entries. So long as I've seen you actually updating your character appropriately, then reentry shouldn't be a problem.

It'll be something you have to decide, I guess. If your character was very good with a few flaws, it's quite possible the best thing to do is update them and try to correct any flaws. If your character was a mediocre entry with a lot of problems, it might be best to read the criticisms and start over from scratch with a new person. It's a while off yet (end of this year at the earliest), so there's no need to get in a huge hurry with it.

Horrence asked me a question in the voting topic about how I will run next round, and the answer is one match per day after the conclusion of this round. There's no reason to rush through to the end; the characters who have made it this far should be able to savor and enjoy their trips to their bracket's respective finals. That means there are 6 more days after today before a winner is decided.

I kind of like the idea of all the different styles, yes it might not be particularly cohesive, but it is eclectic and interesting, to say the least.

Someone should make a picture showing all the loyal characters of the role-playing thread. It seems Okorik, Marek, and Serenity are pretty much the only ones on the thread ATM.
