It's ok, i really think i exagerated with the gameplay, and i hope it won't affect in the long run (if there is one :P) Thanks crow for making this contest, i'm really really exited to see how it will keep going. By the way, when will the fights begin?

Hmmm... I noticed Annette's gender is listed as male though she is in fact female. I actually think it's kind of funny and confusing considering her gender bending ways, so it is a nice addition, hehehe.

Any errors like that you see are because I used Akari (first submission) as my base for everything and pasted/cut as necessary with the other characters. I may have inadvertently left in some of his info here and there. I've tried to catch them all, so if you see them I will be happy to fix them, just have to let me know.

The first matches will probably begin within the next hour to hour and a half.

I noticed that too, but I thought it was all part of the plan, and I thought it was a smart move .... So it fits lol.

I have looked at Rayvn, due to the fact her creator is a previous contest winner. superbly drawn if I do say so myself. I really get a good idea of what she looks like. Before er first fight begins I'll fire off a quick analysis:

Empathy and apathy should be used in tandem with each other as simply using the word empathy seems odd. I would not consider empathy a trait used for manipulation. I would combine empathy and apathy as two sides of the same coin here to make for a better story and power explanation.

Chain spear has no enhanced version, also pretty much a direct copy of Scorpion's spear.

Other than those problems Rayvn seems to be completely original on her part, and has a much more fashionable use of the spear than scorpion. I would like to think she will climb the ladder, but due to the small bits of similarity to Scorpion may not be quite original enough to win the tournament.

Then again I am the Simon Cowell of character rankings. I'm a very hard man to please.

Tournaments looking good man only had time to review the 1st round fighter which i assumed from the bracket was the names on each bracket. Also skimmed through a few others.

Crow not sure if your aware but CHI ZONG, GREYIA and ISIS profiles all seem to have pictures of Cyrax where there costumes should be and
Destroyer I and Revanents profiles dont load at all

I wish I could draw ire but I dont have a scanner nor do I have the artistic ability to do it properly with a mouse. I dont have a computer drawing tablet either.

Oh man! Serenity and Isis have VERY similar story lines!! my mind is blown really! wow

You should check out heromachine.com. That's where I (and several other people) generated my character. They've got a lot of options on there, though it can be a little confusing at first.

All fixed, again more errors left over from my test versions. Thanks for pointing them out.

What happens if the community vote is a tie and the judges vote 2 and 2?

then we'll do what we should do when that happens with the Presidential election, have an all night no holds barred dance off between the competitors to detremine a winner.

Probably rerun the vote or run overtime for a shorter period of time, community only if the judges are tied.

Dance off maybe, though.

Or possibly Mortal Kareoke.

I was wondering if I could still add some minor changes to Black Widow's fighting style as I feel that it would better explain how she fights and give a better description of her techniques which are as follows:

BLACK WIDOW’S FIGHTING STYLE:
As a member of the Shirai Ryu, Black Widow carried the reputation as one of the deadliest close range fighters in the entire clan. Considered to be an expert in Ninjitsu and Hapkido she is well versed in black magic and her chosen weapons of sais. Because of this she mainly took on nocturnal assignments given to her by the Shirai Ryu. Her success rate for the missions she took on reinforced her reputation via her signature fighting style. She has successfully proven to be proficient in Taijutsu in hand to hand combat scenarios, she has often made credible and convincingly deceptive impersonations of high rank officials considered enemies to the Shirai Ryu, she’s performed several acts of espionage, and she an expert at performing effective assassination techniques. In several sparring sessions within the quarters of the Shirai Ryu, she has been observed to have quick, precise and stealth movements, striking at key pressure points as well as having a keen level of elusiveness making her most effective in nocturnal environments.

Love Kuwinda's look and tragic storyline, great job.
