I've seen quite a bit of the entrants in the tourney, and I can't make up my mind which of them I like more. This is really gonna be tough for me, lol.

Is Karundi any good

Well you got to love the battle axe. And I'm sure Marek makes it magically appear only when he needs it which I like out of magical characters. I like how your character is aligned with Raiden as I always suspected Shadow Priests to be evil. Death from Within is creepy and adds nice touch to Marek. Glowing Blue Eyes caps it off! Anything inparticular you like about Magnum? I liked magnums bio ok but his taunts are my FAVES.

Espio, it's good to know I wasn't the only one who set up their character to be introduced between MK9 and the possible MK10, and Deon's story actually would go together quite well with Ravyn's. Perhaps an alliance between the rebuilt Order of the Finch and a reformed Lin Kuei?

@ MKNewb, pleased that you like my character. My thoughts on Salazar: The combination or crossbows and Muay Thai is a curious combination, very outside the box. I like his specials and his role as Edenian protector.


My thoughts on Casilde The bio is well written and engaging, it reminds me of the Soul Calibur bios, gives you a real feel for the character. Whoa the primary is very unique. She looks like a succubus, intriguing. My favorite is the alt, color scheme is great, nicely done. The blood fountain fatality is cringe worthy and I can easily picture it in my head.

You're very welcome, really impressive character. Oh that would have been a crazy coincidence, it would have been killer good, just like Malice. That makes me feel better about the specials I chose, I was worried they wouldn't mesh well. I found alot of these characters FANTASTIC I have no idea how this tournament will play out . I don't know why but Khibok really ignited my imagination and I have a sudden urge to draw him

I am with you Spider804.... All of which I've seen are fantastic, and hard to make up my mind. Of course I won't like one more than the other. They are all great, and would be tough competitors.

I agree, Malice has grown on me already, and not because Keilenaten wants to form an alliance with her, lol, but her designs are great. MK needed a Gothic looking fighter, and Malice would be a great addition. Her bio is good, and someone mentioned earlier, there are few fighters in MK that are in the tourney as of act of jealousy, and it's true. Malice is scorned, and has made her an aggressive fighter. Her fatalities are awesome, and I mean both of them. Her moves, all I have to say is NICE, very well executed.

I liked how Karundi embraced the sense of humor, the camp, and the cheesiness that MK embodies. I assumed so many of these characters would take themselves soooo seriously(and I was right.) that a character who doesn't gets points in my book. Also, that is an alternate costume I would be using quite often. His story is a little on the bland side because he sort of falls among the ranks of the minion characters and has little impact, but that doesn't make it bad.

Yeah, the bio, ending, and taunts were my faves about Tyron, Omen is a badass dog.
I hope you come up with an awesome Shadow Priest KAK as well.

Edit:Ravyn is the shit. Her and Deon would tear some stuff up for sure. I love the chain blade specials and her emphasis on team work and manipulating emotions is superb. Her costumes are both epic, but my favorite is the alternate with the hood and backcape, the Lin Kuei symbol is a nice touch too. I was hooked before I even read anything because her design is just perfect. Terror Tremor is a great fatality, it's like excorcism scary, nicely done on the description. Her ending is great Ravyn and Deon tag team for the win!

Khaali: I'm probably spelling that wrong but here I go. Most believable KAK in the whole tournament. The story is very traditional as is her ending. I love that she walks like a spider instead of on two feet. This makes here unique. Her moves are also unique. This character is gonna be tough to beat in the tourney. Sorry for the misunderstanding of characters earlier Shesgotclaws.

Guys, if I did not use your correct revision I apologize, but the majority of entrants did submit an edit at least once, some several times. I did my best to use the most current version, and as I said you will/had one day to have me correct it before the contest starts. I am trying to do fixes as I'm typing this.

Just gotta say that if I had to pick a few favs so far they would be Kruor, Fu Lei, Terra, and Yaray. I think all four have great, fit together stories.

Kruor is such a beast (too bad skarelt came along for a few of these KAK's) but I would take Kruor over skarlet lol. He is beastily brutal and seemss like a forgotten Oni or someting.

Fu Lei's story is kool, a Shadow Priest that enters the tournament. Good moves, kinda heavy on teleporting in my opinion, but really original idea for Shadow priest.

Terra, like someone said, seems like the exact opposite to Shao Khan. Like I could actually see her beating him, unlike many kharakters that already in the game! Great artworks.

Yaray is just wicked, a perfectly mixed charater, kool background, and perfectly weird in a good way. I could actually imagine his rugged, kind of off beat move set. nice.

Lots of more characters I really liked to, but just gave my favs so far.

Oh and here is Shiku's updated ending. He also has a really different costume from his primary, which is with the sleeveless open chest jacket.

Ending: With Shao Khan Defeated, Shiku retreats to an island, still not having regained full memories of the events preceding the 3rd Mortal Kombat tournament. A female kombatant that said she was from Edenia told him she knew someone who could help himfind his memories. She brought him to the pits of a crowded city, and there he met with two familiar faces; two of the ghosts that had haunted his hometown, Quan Chi and another phantom warrior from the Nether Realm. The mysterious female kombatant who brought him to Quan Chi was none other than Khameleon in her natural form, undisguised. Quan Chi and Khameleon had divised a plan to take over outworld, and with Shao Khan gone, they thought they had found the warrior that would turn the tide for them and bring in a new era, with Quan Chi as the new ruling force over all the realms. Shiku did not let anyone know that he was out to seek answers from Quan Chi, and the best way to do this, he felt, was to align himself with the sorcerer-for now. Training further, gaining new abilities with a batallion of diverse warriors in a vastly deserted area somewhere in Outworld, Shiku was appointed one of the many Emissaries of Outworld in a ceremony led by Khameleon, Shadow Priests, and Noob Saibot. With his soul now fused with his staff, Shiku was more powerful than he ever imagined he would be. His hopes of vengeance on Quan Chi became blurred as his thoughts shifted to the newfound power that he had. Only Time will tell the rest of Shiku's story.

Shiku's interesting, I like the healing powers and the story with his arm.

And I agree with Spider804, pretty freaky, in a good 'ol MK way. I can tell you this, I didn't expect this, and in my book that is VERY GOOD. I read the the name and expected another female fighter like Jade, Kitana, etc, but I was blown away by Anette. The possession with Etiennet(sorry if misspelled), and the acts of sexual tension is nice. Her bio is good, and serves a bit of a mystery. Her ending is awesome, and also leaves us with more mystery as whose voice she heard. Her fatalities both brutal, but the first it's different and new, and the way both souls fight against one another. One to take care of loosing opponent, and the other to finish them off.

Annette: Very Very Unique! Very French. I just read the short bio because it was long but shorter than your long version. Completely different than any character I've seen so far. I like the alternate costume. The character is also suppose to be sexual right? I might be sick but pearls always make me think of sexual things.

I hope we get to role play, this is shaping up to be so hella awesome.
