Okay, it took me all day, with a LOT of back and forth, but here we go.

Regardless of the outcome, great job to Colt and Tyron for making it this far in the tournament. It's been great going up against you.

And congrats to Spider's Marek and all other contestants that made it this far. I'm happy Tyron has made it this far but I want him to go further.

Match 1: Khibok

I really want to like Yaray because it's clear a lot of thought and effort went into his creation -- but there's just too much going on there in my opinion. His gameplay, with all its possibilities, would be insanely hard to balance against the rest of the roster. The BoB move's unpredictability probably makes it overpowered (think Fujin's ricochet crossbow from MK4). His Anarchy move would almost make him an entirely new game mode unto himself. His story takes a bit too long to tell -- the strongest, most attention-grabbing concepts are concise, not complicated.

Khibok's story, gameplay, and Fatalities are less elaborate, but more compelling to me. I can tell in an instant what Khibok is, what he's about, and how to play as him. He is also well developed and one of my favorites in the tournament.

Match 2: Tyron Magnum

Not much to say here except that Marek is a great take on a Shadow Priest, but I'm leaning more toward Tyron's attitude, his dog, and his character depth. (I think it'd be better if his dog-tackle move didn't have the chance of hitting you instead; it's perfectly reasonable that the dog could fly beside you rather than crash into you.)
