I also see how Sapheera won the community vote but was met with zero from the council. If anything the community vote is serving as a good tie-breaker between the council.

Ah yes, the phrase "glorified tie-breaker" has come to mind many times.

But I'm still in favor of judge votes. I don't really think it needs to be discussed all that much, the options Crow presented that made the community vote have more weight are good enough solutions. However, I don't think we should wait until the next competition to implement changes... I don't see why the voting can't be adjusted in the next round. It wouldn't harm the competition in the least.

I agree with Mojo. As long as they taking the contest seriously we will be fine. Hey mojo are you gonna do any more reviews?

That's not really applicable in this situation; the match was close and if the judges had simply been included as equal share community members, Merrick still wins, the only thing that changes is the final score (which is really not important).

It's times like this I wish I knew how to draw. I honestly feel like I would've done a little better if I could actually show what my character looked like.

Wow....I missed out on the past 2 Rounds and my choices lose for the most part. Interesting. (shout out to Keith's "Terra"...sorry I missed out on voting for her, guy....damn days go by too fast!)

Anyway....


Bracket 1 - Tao Fei. (I liked that he wasn't simply out for revenge against the elder gods, but rather just did NOTHING to aid them in any way shape or form. Lucci's bio was interesting, but everything else was scant and not noteworthy)

Bracket 2 - Akari (his bio and ending were more captivating that Kimya's and I can totally believe that everything that went into Akari's story is very much believable and easily could happen given the Mileena/Kitana thing)

Bracket 3 - Fu Lei (THIS was a close one, as both character had longer backgrounds and thus required a lot of reading and getting a feel for the character, but in the end, the concept of a Shadow Priest being a kombatant interested me more)

ok let me explain, that ultimatesavage guy was giving up hope whether he would win, so i just wanted to tell him that even if the majority of voters vote against him he can still turn it around with the actual judges votes.
