Ok. I retract my last post to say this:

Learn some damn capitalization before anything else. That would also help in your future writing career. Kthx. And FYI, don't tell me that I have poor writing ability when you can't write a coherant (sp?) sentence. Heh, that's constructive, is it not?

I Like the story, regardless of if I helped make the thing. She did a wonderful job of taking everybodies ideas and mending them together. *shugs* SHE did that.

It might look or read a way because when a person creates a character...that character is beefed up a bit. I can admit I even do this on accident.
(refering to the "it looks like furry land" thing. No insult...really)

Y'know, "All powerful characters" and stuff like that. But that's cool because what she is trying to do is incorporate everybodies personalities and not....I repeat NOT trying to step on people's toes in the process.

The task was executed quite well considering all the people involved, Involutarily or not (whoever the spammers were).

There's drama, conflict of interest, systematic parrel, everybodies introduced properly(99% of the time at least), an ensuing battle which means it works it's way up to a battle with "to be continues" factors, and on top of all that it has eveybodies personalities in it who submitted a character.

I think the "furry" thing is only an excuse to blend the dislike you have for the person who wrote the fic (LadyMage) into you guys' critisisms. That's called being bias people. Bias towards the writer because of non-related issues.

To me this story resembles an entry to a Harry Potter or Narnia type story. But with a more adult texture to the content. It's just fun to see what happens if you enjoy that kind of story.

If you don't like it, it's simple....don't post. We didn't partic[ate to have animosity thrown around in here. We paricipated to see our characters come to life in a fun way. This is fun....to us. Don't feel left out, create a bad guy/girl or something. Baraka_cuz did it through IM's with me and it fit in there good. Why throw salt man? Have fun with the thing.

And that's constructive folks.

Have fun with it.....not insult the writer. Give a constuctive opinion.

1.) Yes, but giving a character some flaws, some weaknesses. Like one weak thing in their physical appearance and one strong thing in their physical appearance makes the character stronger, and allows you to like them more.

2.) You make it seem more complex than it really is. From what I gathered, Shang Tsung was seen entering this realm. That's really it. Also, Reptile is extremely out of character. Shouldn't he be serving his master Shao Kahn instead of being a cross guard?

3.) Again, I will say this, I don't hate "furries", I'm just not appealed by them, mostly because i'm not an RPG type of person. I'm not very huge into ultra-fantasy Narnia and Harry Potter stuff. I did not like the fan-fic because I don't like the basic plotline behind it.

4.) That's fine, but if we don't like it, can't we voice how to make it better, or why we don't like it? In any case, Ladymage and I know that we dislike each other, but we've settled that in our PM's. I apologized to her because I felt bad that I trolled her thread, which was unfair of me to do.

I appreciate the effort Ladymage put in, and I respect her efforts to make a fun, adventorous MKO fan fiction. However, in my opinion, I just don't think it worked, and other people might seem turned off instead of sucked in to the environment she is trying to create.

Just refering to all the "non" stuff going on. And yea man, a contstructed post out of dislike is appreciated more than just not posting. But constucted though, the human language is vast enough to allow this without adding whatever somebody doesn't like about LadyMage. I thought I wrote that in there, but I guess I didn't. You're right there.
