Just gonna throw in that I think this is a bit too soon..

Its only been a year, and there hasn't been any new MK games since that poll, or any other media for that matter. (things like that may actually change peoples opinion).

I'm not ungrateful or anything, but I think it would have been better to put this off for a while...maybe do something other than characters..Stages, games, fatalities, costumes etc,

A) There's potential for interesting discussion.
B) That's generally the idea of a discussion forum/community.
C) They might have read the original post and want to win some stuff.

Sub-Zero definitely,experienced since Hotarua

Meh. If I can be honest, and no intention to hurt anyone's feelings, I think Hotaru kinda sucks. I just think he's a lame character. I don't really like the idea of Order vs Chaos, and the feud between the two realms. I mean, I think it's a neat idea, but I just didn't really like the execution. At least Havik of the Chaos Realm had an awesome design. Hotaru though, I don't think he looks too cool. I don't really like the idea of suits of armor being used in Mortal Kombat. And I don't like his story or what I know of his attitude.

Sub-Zero, aside from being shoved down our throats second only to Scorpion, actually has a pretty decent storyline. It remained interesting all the way to Deception. And Armageddon was pretty much a train wreck and no characters had a good story in that one, so I can't blame him. Plus I feel his design is much more suitable from the MK universe (in fact it's pretty much a staple). I really like Sub-Zero as a character, so I voted for him.

Aw man not this again..I want off MKO's wild ride.

Hotaru ! My favorite character from MKD. He is so cool to me, id like to see him in MK10.

Too bad he doesn't stand a chance against Sub-Zero, I hope the match ups aren't as one sided as last years.

I've voted for Ashrah, however think Sareena will win this one due to her pretty large fan base.
For the first round i voted for Hotaru. There was no way he was going to win against Sub-Zero and as I like them both, I gave my vote to the underdog.

Can't choose. Both characters have neat stories but garbage gameplay.

As much as I like Ashrah I voted for Sareena.
She has more potential. Though this one is almost a tie to me.

Sereena, I dislike Ashrah.

sareena's a BOSS. I go sareena.

I had to go with Ashrah, she just seems more interesting than Sareena.

Not really a fan of either. I take Ashrah, mostly for gameplay and story potential, considering I'm decent with her.

Sorry Hotaru but Sub got my vote. I mean Sub Zero (Bi-Han) is so cool that his shadow got a role in the MK universe. Then his younger brother (Kuai Liang) took the coolness to new heights by purifying the coorupt clan that raised the two brothers. Sub Zero forever.

As for sareena I could care less even if she is in some kind of love triangle with the brothers. Ashra takes it she seems important to the future story line as sareena's significance is in the canon MKM era.

sidenote: Ashra's masked costume concept in MKD is awesome....#hint #hint

I vote for Sareena because she has been able to beat the Brotherhood of Shadow how many times?

i don`t know much about both warrior,slightly know about Sarrena,for Ashrah not overly,i just to say,Sarrena,and that it!!!
