Sub-Zero was forced to fight his past as a reactivated Cyber Lin Kuei returned in MK11. The Grandmaster joined the fight against two eras to stop Kronika's quest for a new one. Goro is dead in MK11, but played out a new version of his legendary past as champion in Mortal Kombat Legends. His reign was as brutal as ever as he entered his 10th consecutive tournament in the animated feature. Round 2! FIGHT!

Goro still lives in all of us but subzero never dies. One day goro will be back on top.

Nightwolf versus Fujin

Nightwolf features in MK11 Aftermath as one of the DLC fighters sent back in time to prevent the destruction of Kronika's crown. He contends with his own Netherrealm revenant, as well as the loyal forces of Kronika. Fujin also returned in Aftermath DLC, escaping from imprisonment in the void after Kronika's defeat. The wind god joined the mission back through time, helping to secure and safeguard Kronika's crown. Choose their destiny. FIGHT!

Both of these characters are the best they've ever been in aftermath. This should be in the finals. If I had to pick I think Fuji is the better. They really made him live up to the hype. Super impressed. Nightwolf is great too though.

Scorpion versus D'Vorah

Scorpion fought for both sides in MK11, split by the perspective of time and two different eras. Grandmaster Hanzo Hasashi died enlightening his earlier self. The journey of the vengeful ninja spectre was retold in MK Legends: Scorpion's Revenge. D'Vorah joined Kronika's forces to guarantee a place for the Kytinn in the Titan's prospective new era. She killed the elder Scorpion, but was also violently wounded by his earlier self. Choose their destiny. FIGHT!

Fujin over Nightwolf but both have been a great addition to MK11. Fujin didn't disappoint despite being 5 years overdue.

Scorpion over D'Vorah this time.

Sorry but Fujin was completely forgettable in Aftermath. Nightwolf was really good in his chapter I liked how they protrayed him. Shame he lost.

Imma go with D'Vorah over Scoprion on this one. She's been a great addition to the series.

D'vorah is a great addition but between mk11 and the cartoon scorpion is in fine form. Consistently underrated.

Triborg was last seen in MKX. The gestalt genesis of the cyber Lin Kuei initiative, it possesses the combined data and hardware of several subjects, downloaded by the Special Forces. Shang Tsung leads a quest back through time to save the universe in MK11 Aftermath. The move-stealing sorcerer escaped imprisonment within Kronika's void upon her defeat, and works to prevernt the destruction of her crown. Choose their destiny. FIGHT!

I guess I speak for everyone now. Shang tsung is on absolute fire. Aftermath put him absolute on top! I don't know how Triborg beat sektor.

Ermac versus Kronika

Ermac fought for a new regime during the Outworld civil war of MKX, but was absent from MK11. His apparent corpse lies at the bottom of The Pit in The Krypt. Kronika is The Keeper of Time whose plan to rewrite destiny is the major plot of MK11. The final boss recruited an army of fighters from the past to bring about her new era. The destruction of her crown led to unforseen Aftermath threatening existence. Choose their destiny. FIGHT!

I don't like her design, I don't like her story, she's just a bad character. My feelings for Ermac are indifferent. So rather voting for, I'm voting against Kronika.

Kronika is the boss and did some new things that were good. Steadily losing interest in Ermac and apparently he's dead in mk11.

Skarlet versus Reiko

Skarlet was one of the fighters displaced by Kronika's timequake in MK11. Loyal to Shao Kahn, she unleashed her blood magic against the Osh-Tekk in the battle for Outworld's throne and the creation of the New Era. Reiko was last seen in MKX tie-in comics, where he emerged as a master manipulator. He promised to empower Skarlet with the ultimate blood magik while pursuing godlike power for himself. Manipulated himself, he suffered an agaonising death. Who's next? FIGHT!

Scarlet is the most improved character in mk11. I'd love to hear the argument for Reiko that isn't just wishful thinking and fanfic. I don't think it exists.

Johnny Cage versus Baraka

Johnny Cage was a one-man double feature in MK11. The Special Forces liaison fought the Black Dragon with his dangerous younger self, who featured in the animated retelling of the klassic tournament in Mortal Kombat Legends. Baraka and his Tarkatan horde were pivotal allies in the struggle against Kronika's new era. The time displaced mutant switched sides in MK11, but in MK Legends he still fights for Outworld, threatening to slice & dice Johnny Cage. Choose their destiny. FIGHT!

This one is really hard. Johnny is so good right now but I love baraka. He's an underdog I can get behind. It was great when he sniffed out shang tsung in aftermath.

Liu Kang ascended to the status of fire god at the end of MK11. He successfully defeated the titan Kronika, and in the Aftermath sent a team back through time to restore her broken crown. Noob Saibot was displaced by Kronika's timequake in MK11, brought forward from the past to guard The Keeper of Time's crown. He was defeated by Fujin in Aftermath, while his living self perished in the animated Scorpion's Revenge. Choose their destiny. FIGHT!

Liu kang as a god is so awesome. Loved most everything in mk11 and aftermath too. Noob just shows up to get beat up and be what crying fanboys try to say scorpion is.

Kitana's revenant rules the Netherrealm in MK11, aiding Kronika in her quest for a new era, while her younger-self assumes leadership of a new Outworld regime fighting to stop it. She appears briefly in MK Legends, yielding to the chosen one. Shinnok is not playable in MK11, still a mere decapitated trophy in the depths of Kitana's Netherrealm. The fallen elder god appears in MK Legends, waiting to begin his attack in the animated epilogue. Who's next? FIGHT!

I love that shinnok picture. I hope we see shinnok again some day but kitana gets my vote in this one. She had some great fights looking back on mk11 and aftermath.

Reptile can be found lurking Shang Tsung's Island in the MK11 Krypt, but is otherwise unseen. He was there in MK Legends as well, part of a new retelling of the original game's tournament. Sonya Blade sacrificed herself in MK11 while on mission in the Netherrealm, while her time-displaced younger self carried on the fight against Kronika. She fought and killed Reptile on Shang Tsung's island. Who's next? FIGHT!

Sonya was pretty good in the movie and I didn't like that reptile died. He also still isn't in mk11.
