I'm indifferent to Jade. Nightwolf had a great moveset in MK9, not to mention he got rid of Sindel.

I like them both, but Jade is one of my MK favourites! So my vote goes to her.

I really like both of them, but I'll go with Nightwolf. Wiser and surprisingly very powerful, he'll always find a way to defeat you.

A not-that-good character against a Kitana2 who is just a pair of walking boobs. Enough with all the female ninjas from the first trilogy.

If Jade is just a Kitana 2, then Sub-Zero, Reptile, Smoke, Noob, Ermac and Rain are just Scorpion clones.

I think the guy mean to say, that Jade is kinda like Kitana's slave.

Jade had ultimate different moves than Kitana and looks nowhere the same as Kitty, so that wouldn't make sense.

She does have a boring and bland storyline in MK9, thanks to Kitana & Boon. (or whoever writes the stories)

I think Jade's story could've been more interesting if we saw it from her perspective. She turned her back on everything she knew for friendship, that's dramatic. I think it's something that people can empathize with as well, going against what you were raised to believe for the greater good.

Her story is GOOD, they just never focus on it.

The fun part is... Her ending is more interesting than the entire MK9-storyline combined...

I wished the storyline would have got some information about Jade's past, and how Kitana and Jade got so close... Some flashbacks would have been wonderful.

But no... ALL of Jade's fights were random I-have-to-save Kitana's ass battles. And the rest of Jade was her just standing in the herd and saying nothing (much like the muppet Janice), or her trying to stop Kitana from doing stupid things to anger Kahn...

Really a wasted opportunity.

Kind of, yeah. I've wanted an Outworld focused prequel for YEARS. I was hoping after MKSM we'd get more things like that but um, yeah we all know how that turned out on the story front.

Sadly, Jade has never had an independent storyline. But some characters are just destined to be support characters. Jade, Jax, Smoke, Kung Lao, just to mention a few. Though I do think it would be awesome if Jade stepped away from being Kitana's support character, I don't think it will happen. :/

You would think MKD would've been the time to do it but she ended up being a Sindel support character which in hindsight seems wasteful considering how genuinely unpopular she seems to be.

Well, Jade is loyal. She supports Kitana and Sindel being the leaders of the Edenian throne and wants to help and protect them. I respect that. She would be kinda a bitch if she just abandoned her best friend when she was killed and later resurrected as a slave.

Yeah but they could've had Jade do that on her own but instead they gave her this rivalry with Tanya.

Tanya should've had conflict with Sindel and Jade should've gone off to work on saving Kitana and maybe meeting up with Ermac and Liu Kang's spirit.

That is an interesting idea. Story-wise though, Onaga had taken over Edenia and Sindel was imprisoned with mind-controlled Kitana watching her until Jade saves Sindel and runs for it. So if Jade left to save Kitana... what would Sindel do in the meantime? Where would she be?
It does kinda make sense for both of them to go save Kitana. Tanya just managed to piss off Jade instead of Sindel. It wouldn't matter much which one of them Tanya pissed off, they would still both go to save Kitana - it was just Jade who kicked Tanya's ass in the meantime.
