This is unfortunately getting ridiculously predictable. Only Havik had a chance and he didn't make it so I don't see how Tanya would. Anyway I voted for Tanya coz I loved playing with her in MK4 and MKD. Kitana always bored me for some reason.

Gonna have to go with the Blue Bombshell. Kitana is my 2nd or 3rd favorite female while Tanya is my third least favorite character overall.

I vote Tanya. Kitana has become quite a boring character to me, where Tanya has room to do something interesting storywise... given the chance.

For me? Her quote in MK:D. "I have lived for thousands of years because I make the right decisions." Maybe it makes her a coward in denial, but that little quote added a welcome complexity to a universe which (when you mop up all the blood) was pretty much a Saturday morning cartoon. Plus, stabbing someone in the throat with their own femur kind of kicks ass as well.

Kitana got her chance in MK9. It's time we see Tanya come back in MKX, replacing all the female ninjas that already were in the previous game. We need some new, damn it !

Besides, Tanya is a far more interesting character than the Mario princess who hasn't given us anything since MK2.

It's the whole thing with Kitana being a damsel in distress who has to be saved by Liu Kang in some of the games, such as MK9, MK:SM and MKD.

Besides, I said it once I'll say it again: There are lots of other princesses in fiction that sometimes get rescued by the heroes. Why not call her princess Jasmine. It's still stupid but It will make more sence than calling her Peach.
