To the level of Sonya? I know you're a fanboy and all but she's pretty blatantly above Sonya now as THE female character of the series.

Mileena in this new MK game is by far the female face of the serious followed by.....Kitana? Well not really (in this specific game) but the princess is definitely above Sonya.

Sonya was in more posters than Kitana but when the time came, Kitana was the MK female who was obviously played as the most. I played MKvsDCU online A LOT and I rarely encountered any Sonya players, just like Cat Woman.

I think Sonya gets most of her fame from the MK films. When it comes to the Movies, Sonya is the main female followed by the princess. Sonya kicks ass in the films! I can't wait to see her in the new upcoming webshow!

As far as in the actual Mortal Kombat games, Sonya plays a pretty important role but not NEARLY as important as the Edenian goddess. Kitana is by far the main female in the MK storyline......
I think overall Kitana has the upper hand over all the females.
Kitana has the iconic weapons, specials and story that makes her the leader.....

Back to Mileena!
um I think she's at the top right now, but indeed will go down after release....

MK3, MK4, MKDA & MKvsDCU would all like to have a word with you. Mileena may be the main MK female in this game, but she has NOT been promoted for most of the mk games like Sonya was.

Li Mei. Pretty much the only female character I like or care about aside from Jade. Used to like Sonya but I don't like where they are going with her. She's pretty much dead to me now.

Never really liked a lot of the MK female characters. But I never really had anything against them though. Nitara was pretty cool and unique, which gave her an edge.

But from the original 3 games, I'd have to say Jade for comparison's sake. I just kind of gravitated to her. Kind of like I did with Smoke.

I like how every "favorite female" thread always turns into an argument about whether or not Sonya is as much of a mascot as one of the ninja girls. Like it even matters.

MKvsDCU, yep she indeed was the main face, but that quickly changed after release....
And don't get me wrong, I love Sonya especially in the Films, but I strongly disagree that she's the main MK female. I might be a little bit bias bcuz Kitana is my favorite but that's my opinion.

And Kitana didn't even have a chapter on MKvsDCU's story mode, i won't even go there. As if any Kitana stan could win an argument about MKvsDCU.

I have no favorite female I use to like Sonya. But now I like Sheeva only because she's the only muscular female. I think if there was a contest between all females sheeva would win IMO.

I LOVE SONYA!!!! She is a kick butt women. I love her serious vibe, and just by looking at her, you can tell she can snap someones neck. I love her moves.

Next is definetly are Kitana, Jade, or Mileena. These guys are amazing.

I still like sonya better though. xD

By far, and I mean by fucking miles, Li Mei. I do like many of the other female characters, but Li Mei wins with a landslide victory.

when i was younger my favorite female character was sonya. i just liked that tough female role that would take on any challenger with her military background.

now my favorite is mileena. i never really cared for her until she made a big impact in mkd. her look just was great and now in this game she looks even better. from there on she was my favorite.

now my top 3 are
kitana - i always liked her story and her fans.

mileena - i like the fact shes a clone and shes not afraid to show some skin.

sindel -i liked her look and always like to tease my mom when she screams because she can topple mountains. aka mka the film.


characters that have grown on me are sareena and li mei.

liked sareena in mk mytholgies but didn't know much about her in terms of her background. in mka i used her the most than any other female character.

li mei is my favorite female character past mk-mk4 era. she was like the chun li of mkda with her various kicks. just never cared for her story though.

well that is all. i guess.

my favorite is Mileena because shes the HBIC

shes a fun version of buzzkill Kitana. she uses her sex appeal (which ever smart female character would) to get ahead. she was in mk2, sports purple/pink. her sais are awesome. she has the best costumes in the game. blah blah blah i could go on and on..

i also REALLY LIKE

Kira. shes kano and sonya combined. two characters that i dont like at all but ironically enough i love kira. she's all the right elements of the black dragon girl. hope to see her in future games with some more original moves

Tanya. shes an underrated villainess. Mileena normally overshadows her, but she's a bad bitch to mess with.i like her rivalry with jade. and she wears yellow and has cool outfits and specials :)

(The what if) Khameleon. not the one in MK Armageddon, but the potential female reptile whole deal. whole loads of POTENTIAL

Sindel also use to be one of my favorites back in the day. but she has gotton really lame in the past few games so dont like her much anymore :(
