'The first fighting game featuring Horror's greatest icon's

The official website has a DEMO available for download. Which is totally FREE! Four playable characters - Freddy Krueger, Evil 'Ash' Dead, Michael Myers and Leatherface.

It's shaping up really well in my opinion, and many people have likened it to Mortal Kombat, with it's gameplay stuff and obviously the gore. Even the Serum Meter seems a lot like the RAGE mode in MKvsDC.

Whose played it and what did you think? Are you guys looking forward to this?

That looked absolutely incredible! It's only going to be an online computer game because I think that is lame. It really looks like a good DS game. I wonder what would be on the second screen. Probably horny teenage girls who do drugs and drink alcohol. Ah this game is a winner!

I would love for it to be available on the DS/ XBOX/Playstation or whatever.

But due to legal reason's and copyright's its near on impossible really.

Unless it was completely underground...

..Now there's an idea!

They should totally make other heroes too, from the movies! Like Alice the Dream Master, Laurie Strode, etc.

I can't help but feel that this game is being completely wasted in the format that it is being released. It really sucks about all the licensing. sad

But having it as a PC exclusive, it can have it's little cult following!

There's too many licence's and everything for each character to be able to go through to the mainstream. Think of how much hassle the MK Team are having with DC over characters and numerous things.

It would be the same for this.

But like I say, I'm sure I could port the game onto other consoles. Can't see it possible with the DS though, it'd have to be disked.

This game will be better than Soul Calibur, Virtua Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tekken, Dead Or Alive, Super Smash Bros, Justice Leauge Task Force, 3D Ballz, Shaq Fu, and Clay Fighter combined.

Oh, it will DEFINITELY get finished!

Download the Demo, you haven't seen nothing until you play it yourself!

Simply fantastic.

& What's better, not all of the moves and features have been intergrated yet.

The Demo is bare-bones!

The Creeper (Jeepers Creepers) will not be in the game. One of the team members confirmed that to me, sadly.

They're considering adding some heroines like the one I suggested (the Dream Master from Nightmare 4 and 5).

We don't need heroine's in this game.

We do however, need females.

It is Horror Icon's, not Horror Icon's goodly enemies.

They should stick with the format. There are several horror females who could be put in.

Without the need for heroines.

Um, why? (Alice) Dream Master, Laurie Strode, Ripley, or Sidney Prescott would be awesome. Alice and Ripley have unique, fighter looks too.

There are barely ANY horror movie "heroes", so I don't know who you're suggesting. Only one I can think of off the top of my head is Tommy Jarvis, and he's hardly 2D fighter material. By the way, they're focusing on making the monsters/killers first, don't worry. But they're CONSIDERING adding heroines and heroes later on.

I meant to put females instead of heroes (Post edited)

But like I say, in this game there isn't any need for heroes/heroine's.

& they would also take up roster slots which could be fufilled by actual horror icons, not teenagers.

Having them in the game would also detriment the game itself, as this game is a compilation of the biggest and baddest Horror Icon's.

The sub-title for this is 'Rise of The Boogeymen' Not 'The Rise of the Boogymen and their human prey'

Wow! That's super-cool, but damn... Missed opportunity!
Sure, everyone loves the fighting genre, but... Surely a game like this would've been better served with something a little more creative!

A stalker function that puts players into situations where they have to evade a stalker - or multiple stalkers - would've been a lot of fun. And, of course, the opportunity to switch roles, and pick off a bunch of unsuspecting teens in a mansion, campsite, or other locale.

Then again, I guess for a fan-game, that kind of innovation might be asking a bit much.

Pretty cool!

Ever since I saw "Jason goes to hell", I knew the next film would be a vs. movie. Thats when i thought about a crossover game featuring horror movie icons. Now its finally coming to life! This is gonna be krazy!grin

It should be like Primal Rage where you ate the little people. There should be slutty/ drunk/ drugged up teenagers who can get killed while the horror icons battle.

People like the Dream Master and Ripley ARE icons, not "prey". They're people who went toe to toe with the baddies and lived to tell about it (twice).
