First off, that award means nothing when someone arrives in WWE! With Vince and merry little band of slapasses fucking up a person's gemick, then could turn even the best technical wrestler into a candyass that only relies on his strength. So you may have had the benefit of seeing him in better form in OVW and he may have been ass good as you stated, but in WWE, as somewhat interesting as his gimick was, he was a goof in the ring and on the mic.

So until he redeems himself in WWE or given a proper gimick to use his held back talents, all that we will remember him as is a failed gimick. That's why he got sent back down. WWE requires a different standard of ability and mic work to stay within their ranks.

Mordecai was a decent wrestler IMO. He had a great match with Rey Mysterio is his last SmacKDown!. I think the best thing to do is, when they bring him back( I think they will), have him start a feud with Rey Mysterio. the person that ended his winning streak, and have the final blow off match at No Mercy with Mordy going over of course, and than move on to start his most anticipated Feud with The Undertaker over the WWE Championship(Taker WILL win the title at No mercy dammit!).

The only Mordecai match I saw was the Great American Bash's Mordecai vs. Holly, and even though it was a decent match, sometimes it looked like Holly was sorta carrying it for Mordecai, and the pale rider wasn't really as impressive as the WWE was pushing him to be. Not only do many friends agree, the WWE thinks so aswell, so whatever you say here doesn't matter to anyone. No, not even to Jesus.

I liked Mordecai a lot also but his matches (at least the ones I saw - Judgement Day and Great American Bash) were plain awful... he looked like he was trying to hard not to injure the other wrestlers with his finisher; of course he isn't supposed to hurt them but at least make it look like it hurts a lot (like Batista's sitdown powerbomb which I'm sure would tear me into tiny little pieces). I liked his gimmick though, it's too bad that it got canned.
