I'd love to see him in the Rumble! He could kill Heath Slater one more time!

Here's hoping he doesn't break a leg when walking to the podium.

Really? Maybe they'll induct everyone who's squashed Heath Slater. Is Cyndi Lauper already in?

I heard Rusev is now on the injured list. Holy hell. Edit: looked it up. It wasn't too serious and he'll make it to the rumble.

Didn't he just come back not too long ago?
Rumor has it that WWE are planning to release Daniel Bryan next week. Normally I'd scoff at a report like this, but I can't help but think about DB's recent fustrations on wanting to wrestle again.

They had the chance to do something exciting and they didn't. Oh well. AJ Styles debut was cool, but for someone who came in at #3, eliminated #4 and #5 but then did nothing until being eliminated by #18, I was pretty disappointed.

I ain't even mad about this Rumble.
Very well booked Royal Rumble. Of course AJ's debut was absolutely historic and amazing. Do I like seeing Triple H as champion? No, but it's the story they're telling and they're doing it decently. The Wyatts came off strong, AJ came off Strong, Ambrose looked awesome... There were some very clever choices, unlike last year's absolute fiasco.
I am happy.

The moment I saw those Taker/Hogan/Savage cosplayers on Raw, I knew Beaver Dunn would move them behind the camera. I assume Rock is going to get massive heat from management for talking to them like that. Especially when the company blacklisted Hogan.
Not like Dwayne cares anyway.

Pretty sure the Rock can do anything he wants and not get heat.

Yeah. Rocky is pretty much bigger than WWE at this point.
Still surreal seeing A.J. Styles in the 'E.

I found it hilarious that they kept calling AJ kid in his pre-match promo. He is literally the definition of a grown ass man at 38. He had a good match with Jericho too which made suffering through a 20 minute Authority promo in the beginning worth while. The only problem I had with the match, and I love Y2J, he is starting to get a belly on him that reminds me of Piper in WCW and just look haggard as all hell. Yeah I know he's 45 but I just started kind of tuning into WWE for the first time in a decade a couple of months ago so take that as you will, just makes me kind of wish for Jericho back in his prime around 98-2002.

The last Rumble I really enjoyed was 2011, so I'm pretty jazzed about this year's. Solid undercard with matches I actually want to see. A Royal Rumble with a good spread, good flow, good participants, good surprise(s), good performances, and a clear direction in the end. A relief.
I think Reigns/Triple H would've been a much more compelling and helpful Wrestlemania match if it were non-title. Keeping Reigns' trajectory all about making him 'the guy', instead of having him earn his stripes, is a disappointment and just playing into the problem. It's a rock solid story, but tough to engage with because of the circumstances.
It's nice to feel like there's a bit more urgency and energy around the place, though. Some people are grousing about late nineties references, but after the last few years of just going through the motions, who can complain? I just hope it sticks. Maybe keep a February title change in their back pocket if it doesn't look like Reigns/HHH can carry the Wrestlemania match. Hotshotting isn't always a dirty word.

Been reading the same, but didn't wanna write it anywhere or say it out loud, for fear of it actually happening.
Would be such a damn waste.

So who do you guys think will win the triple threat match between Brock,Roman and Dean? Im saying Roman all day just to set up Wrestlemania with Triple H vs Roman Reigns. The only thing im worried about is Triple H will win so that way when Seth Rollins comes back He can "purposely" lose to Seth Rollins just to keep the belt with authority...My biggest excitement is the return of the Hardy Boys!
