I was impressed with EC to and extent. granted the two Chamber matches were meh at best, but Owens/Cena was MOTN and by far stole the show! was so happy that Owens grabbed the 'W'! can't wait for the rematch at MITB

Very interested to see how Owens develops! Sounds like Samoa Joe is on the verge of signing a full WWE contract, too. Atypical, quality talent injection. Great!

I read something about a UK/European DVD release, but it sounds like it'll be WWE Network exclusive in the States. If I remember right, there's no Blu-Ray release anywhere. Bit of a shame, but I guess it makes some sense.

Where the wrestlemaniacs at? I'm not the biggest fan of the MKO user tradition of showing up just to mourn deaths [should be celebrating living works more often], but I thought we'd have some posts for "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes!
Not a wrestler I consider one of 'my guys', but there's no denying the impact he's made past, present and future. A real loss! A sad personal loss for all the people who've had so many positive things to say, too.
On a lighter note - I thought it was actually pretty cool for Sheamus to win the Money in the Bank (a couple of weeks ago). I think he's way overdue to get back into the top title scene! A solid hand, an interesting personality, and a guy who seems very reliable.
I don't generally like Money in the Bank. It's a cheapening of the championship - the Hardcore 24/7 rule for a prize that should be well beyond that. It's not without its usefulness, though, and I particularly like the idea of Sheamus taking time off to film TMNT2 and using the briefcase to jumpstart him on a return. If anything, I might've liked to see him disappear immediately after winning it (instead of loitering to lose to Randy Orton etc).

I recently picked up ECW Unreleased vol. 3 was pretty good but I got to say vol. 1 is the best in my opinion, vol. 2 takes 2nd and 3rd volume is the lesser of the bunch.
my 3 favorite matches on the set are
Rey Mysterio and 911 vs. Eliminators.
Dreamer vs. Raven
RVD vs. Rhino
I got WWE Extreme Rules 2015 today. I have to say out of every Extreme Rules I own by far this is the worst. I still need to pick up Extreme Rules 2009, and Extreme Rules 2012 to complete this ppv.
My favorite match on the dvd was
The New Day vs. Cesaro & Tyson Kidd.
Got a trading card as well. Dean Ambrose.

I ended up picking up Money In The Bank 2015 on dvd. It was better then I'd thought it be.
My 3 favorite matches were
Kevin Owens vs. Cena
Paige vs. Nikki
Money In The Bank Ladder Match
I never heard of Kevin Owens before watching him on this but he's good. Even Cena was good in the match and I despise Cena.
I hardly watch Raw or Smackdown anymore so I've been picking up ppv lately.
I also like KO because my name is Kevin so he instantly became better in my eyes. He might be the next Bam Bam.

I always like the talk about making Summerslam a Wrestlemania calibre event, but I rarely end up caring about August at all. This could be the one to really live up to the theory. Just hope they can build something more than a three match card. I've got my doubts.

Nice one! They've really followed through on building up the US title. It's the match to look for on just about everything, right now. It's a shame they couldn't have done something like this with Cena much earlier. Would've helped him build a bit more cred. I'm not a Cena fan, either. I pretty much turned on him in 2004 and very little changed my mind over the next 10 years. The guy was accelerated past his place way too soon, and never had to develop. He was always a solid mid-card act, and here he is excelling in that position.
US title matches have had great variety, consistent stakes on TV, work rate, personal issues, feuds culminating in intriguing PPV matches. It's such a shame this can't be the norm, from top to bottom of the card. They clearly understand the concept. (Not that there isn't room for improvement).

John Cena will not be appearing at any live shows this weekend, including Raw on Monday, following emergency surgery to his broken nose which stemmed from a knee to the face by Seth Rollins.
Thank God they banned the curb stomp!

Piper's passed and Hogan's a racist. Rough week in wrestling.
Was really shocked. You think about the cancer issue and all the other health problems Piper conquered. Really felt like he was gonna outlast everybody!

I recently picked up Extreme Rules 2012 on dvd, I only need Extreme Rules 2009 and I'll have every Extreme Rules ppv. I liked it more then 14 and 15 Extreme Rules.
My 3 favorite matches were
Brock vs. Cena in Extreme Rules Match
Punk vs. Y2J in Chicago Street Fight
Nikki Bella vs. Layla
Got it brand new for $6.99 so I think I got pretty good deal considering I bought it at a mall. also I've seen it online for 15$ and up.

Honestly looking forward to that Neville Amell vs Stardust Barrett match at Summerslam. Should be fun and I hope Amell comes dressed as Green Arrow during the match.

Can't say I'm a big Amell/Arrow fan, but I totally agree. They've built it up really well as a fun, interesting Summer feature match! Should be a great addition to the undercard!
About the only complaint I have is Barrett. Even with his recent history with Neville, it just doesn't feel like a natural fit. It might've played better if The Miz was still there to play the smarmy, Hollywood wannabe heel. It's just an issue of chemistry and tone.
I really would've liked to see Barrett engaged in a more serious, more personal one-on-one feud at this point. Something to restore some gravitas to he and the KOTR crown, after the goofiness of R-Truth. I've always wanted to see him lean into the bare knuckle gimmick (by actually throwing some punches) and get into a legit feud with Big Show. Built up, it could've been a good match to give Ryback more time to heal. Or, if we're really desperate to get the IC title on the card, it might've been nice to shuffle Barrett and Miz.
It's shaping up to be a really good summer card, though. Love the 4-team Tag Title scramble, with the more grounded, feud based tag match between Reigns & Ambrose and The Wyatts. I wouldn't mind seeing some convergence there, and maybe a reign for Reigns & Ambrose to give them some much needed (earned) cred, and excite the tag division. (You could transition the titles into a defense rematch against The Wyatts, then work toward dropping them back to an established team like The Prime Time Players).
About the only thing that's really missing is one or two rock solid, 1-on-1 undercard feuds. The price of bumping Cena up to the title main event. His feuds with Rusev and Owens have served that spot well, of late.

Right now my favorite part of Raw is the Diva Division. It's getting alot better. I think its been the best it's been since the early 2000's. Nice to see varity like Paige who reminds me of Victoria. Got Submission Squad, the Bad Girls, Bellas. It's different spin on the diva storlyline/faction/talent. Which is good, now only if we could get divas in specialty matches that be great. Something along the lines of Cage Matches, Hardcore Matches, Bra And Panties Matches, 2-3 Fall Matches, 6 Women Tornado Tag Matches that be fantastic. Highly unliky since its pg but you never know.

Lmao...#givedivasachance.
In all seriousness, if they really waned people to start taking their female performers seriously, the first thing they should've done was change the name of the division back to "The women's division". Don't get me wrong, more match time is a good first step, but the "Diva" branding leaves the wrong image in ones mind.

I hear there's a little summerfest on today. Who you got?
- John Cena (World/US Champion)
- Sheamus
- Big Show (Intercontinental Champion)
- Prime Time Players (Tag Team Champions)
- The Wyatts
- Stephen Amell & Neville
- Kevin Owens
- Team PCB (?!)
- Rusev
- The Undertaker
Kinda having a tough time picking winners. Haven't seen the last few shows and it feels like there are a lot that could go different ways. A handful of matches could end in DQ - Cena/Rollins, Taker/Lesnar, Orton/Sheamus. Should be interesting!
