You know what a good spot in the match between Bray and Taker would be? They then triple team the Undertaker. Bray gets the victory after a long match. Undertaker passes the torch the right way and retires.

Do you really think they would beatdown The Undertaker at WrestleMania and make him go-out that way?
Like Vince would say: No chance in hell.

I don't know. I canceled my subscription. I'll probably renew it somewhere down the line because of course I will, but for now I just feel bad if I keep supporting the WWE. I really hope something big happens back stage. Lesnar bailing on Wrestlemania would be incredible

i dunno bud. some would say it's just cause wrestling in general has been in a slump lately. either way you look at it, it ain't just WWE puttin out a lousy product. hell look at TNA! and i can't cause i don't get the f*cking channel it's on! lol! but what i did see before they left Spike, i groaned every time i tuned in. but i guess that's just cause i'm a fan pure and simple. shit i've seen the wrestling business in worse slumps then this

This may be the first year where I won't enjoy The Undertaker match at WrestleMania.

yep. plus if you're going to build it up without Taker making some kind of response then wtf the point?

Presumably Mysterio turns up in Lucha Underground and/or AAA sometime in the near future. It's not really a surprising story, but it'll still be interesting to see what he's got left in the tank, and where he spends it. Wish he could've had a better run as a top WWE champ, but those cards have long since been played.

Monday Night Raw:
Pros:
- I'm starting to really like Rollins. He has the look, the size, and the mic skills to be a future star (he's one right now, but he can only get better). He's also a very talented wrestler. His segment with Reigns was cool and The Jon Stewart was funny, but the lead-up was going on for too long, I think.
- Roman Reigns is looking better each Raw. I think his matches are getting better, his moveset is increasing, and is looking much more comfortable.
- Randy Orton's position right now is interesting to watch. He's with the Authority, and not with the Authority. I can't wait to see an RKO outta nowhere for Rollins that will eventually lead to their WrestleMania match.
- AJ is back and will most likely bring a breath of fresh air into the division. Though the girls have been putting in solid matches overall. Last night's mixed tag-team match was interesting up until that stupid finish.
- Triple H did a pretty good promo. Including Booker T made sense and the firing part was gold. This match is going to be good. Would like to see Sting on the mic at least once before WrestleMania.
- Daniel Bryan going for the IC Championship? PLEASE let this happen. This will elevate the IC Championship to prestigious status again, and will really make the IC Championship feel important. Much how when The Ultimate Warrior held the title, where the IC Championship was highly regarded, sadly right now it's a joke and it's been a joke for quite sometime now.
Cons:
- Bray Waytt unnecessary stupid promos. Boring as fuck. Why is this match happening?
- Daniel Bryan in a random match versus Harper. I just thought for a second -- last year DB was on top of the world, and now he's just fighting Luke Harper. But that's all okay if he can gain the IC Championship at WrestleMania.
- The John Cena segment was kinda...weird. Though I liked how Steph buried him, Cena will most likely end up fighting Rusev at WrestleMania by putting in some stipulation like if he loses, he'll leave for a year or something.
Overall a solid Monday Night Raw that I enjoyed. I'm liking the product a lot now.

Notice how that poser, Brian Pillman/CM Punk, edgy archetype, wannabe is getting such a ridiculous push?
The "creative" team should've kept his feud going with Dean Ambrose. Mark deserves better. What about that Sting vs Undertaker match that was so hyped up? Why didn't this clown show up when Mark was still able to hold his own against the new superstars?
Of course Wyatt's gonna win. Mark have seen better days.

Do you think you're being clever by calling the Undertaker by his first name? As for why we're not seeing Taker/Sting, I'm assuming it has to do with their age. Both guys need to be carried through a match now.

I don't even know who Brian Pillman is. I don't know why you then put CM Punk beside that name. if you could explain that would be cool.
Anyways I think we're on the same page. The Undertaker does deserve better and it's a damn shame he's going to lose back to back WrestleManias. The greatest WrestleMania attraction for 20 years and now it's being destroyed in two years. I mean, he is going to lose. I don't think WWE wants this "top guy" Waytt to lose back to back WrestleMania losses. If he does, well I could care less.
But the fact WWE is feeding The Undertaker to Bray is something I can't wrap my head around. This guy has been in WWE for close to two years and now he's getting a shot at the deadman, without even doing something significant in his career. Nothing credible. No titles. No important wins. Just boring promos.
Taker vs Sting will go down as the match that never happened, sadly. It should have happened 3-5 years ago.

I ended up getting Ladies And Gentleman My Name Is Paul Hayman. It was great loved watching more ECW footage. Had an interesting match selection. The promos, documentary, everything was very well put together. Wish it was an extra 2 hours though but overall it was solid.
Man Raven does not look very well for his age. It was nice seeing him though on the dvd along with other ECW wrestlers.
Found it funny he fired his mom.

Bray Wyatt fan?
Who are you to tell anybody how they're supposed to identify people? That's his damn name!!! & he was known as "Mean Mark Callous" in WCW when Paul E Dangerously(Paul Heyman) & at one time Theodore Long was his manager. This predates his Undertaker character by the way.

It makes him feel as clever as when people still say Steen, Kenta, Bryan Danielson, etc.
Anyway, Yea that Bill Demott thing is pretty crazy. Never really thought much of him in the ring. I really doubt he would have just resigned unless what was being said was true so I don't consider him denying things still to be of any value.

Wrestling's a tough game. You're gonna take a lot of physical and mental punishment when performing, especially at the global level. DeMott's job was to condition and weed out. He may have gone about that to excess, but the drill sergeant's mentality has long been a philosophy in wrestling. Many of our favourites will have had encounters with that system. Some may have been made better for it. We can't be too shocked by its existence, even if it isn't compatible with the image of WWE's publicly traded, kid friendly, low impact "sports entertainment".
I don't know about denying specific events, but as far as resigning goes, if he wasn't pushed, surely he jumped because he saw the writing on the wall. What he did ultimately comes second to the perception of what he did.
Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark.

Bill DeMott was a psychopath and the drill sergeant mentality needs to go. How many superstars in the past ten years have become main eventers thanks to the WWE developmental system? If its not working, then it needs to change.

You're never going to hold Bill DeMott in special regard for his results (or methods), but that conclusion skips a lot of other steps.
The absence of the territories is one of those. The philosophy has changed since these DeMott cases, though, and you can now see them scouting established talent from ROH, NJPW, etc more than ever.
The lack of true blue main event prospects over the last ten years exceeds Bill DeMott's time in the role, and is quite probably why he was chosen for the position. It's a tough game, and the guys playing on top have to be some of the toughest. If a guy can go through a drill sergeant's training camp and come out the other side - he's gonna be someone you can rely on. That's why drill sergeants exist and likely always will. It's grounded in the fundamental logic of talent needing to be harder, stronger, better than the people watching.
It's ugly, but sometimes it's going to get ugly at the elite level. You've got to be ready for it and capable of dealing with it. Which is where some (eg; Chris Jericho) hear the complaints and scoff. Whether or not they heard about DeMott concussing players -- subject to debate. Because a drill sergeant has to know where to stop, and taking out your own guys with aggravated injuries and concussions is past that line.
If you're going to address complaints about the end product, though, you're not going to do it with hugs and catering. Without responding to anyone in particular, this thread, like a lot of wrestling circles, has looked to the past for improvements. The past was a tougher game. It created the best.

It hasn't stopped being a hard game. My point is that it's an issue of degrees. Flat indignation is ignoring the fundamentals of the job, and the inconsistency of fans' demands versus some reactions to how they've strived for them. Hard training isn't the problem. DeMott may be.

well i wouldn't know cause i'm not a wrestler, but my point is, i want a trainer who's going to train me, not call me names, yell at me, tell me i suck and can't do this and the like. there's one thing to be a hard ass trainer, but as a trainer you don't have to be a fucking douche either
