No one in the wrestling business is ever out for good. Especially the true legends.

The rumble match itself was entertaining. Sure it sucked balls that there wasn't enough of the actual roster in so we knew these guests would lose but then again I'd rather see someone return and lose then a boring bland character like Heath Slater enter the rumble just to lose anyway.

I'd rather see Heath Slater than the announcers.

Rumble was fairly bad. I read on a dirtsheet Carlito may be coming out, and that had me hopeful. But when Khali is literally the biggest "oh man he's back!" guy... not a great sign.

Is it sad that I was more excited to see Kharma than I was Khali?

Eh, I see HBK being the special ref. Him actually competing is a long shot.

I'm a little bummed that Taker looks like he's being built up as the sad old man.

If he was actually the ref, I wonder who he'd screw over? Taker or HHH?


And I don't know about that..... Time will tell, as they've only cut one promo, and WM is still far away.

I like how the internet is on fire over Taker returning to face Triple H and not the Punk/Bryan/Jericho segment.

Shawn Michaels is going to give a Triple H a vote of confidence next week, and that's what'll inspire him to take the match. I'm doubting that triple threat, but it'd still be sweet.

Jericho's troll gimmick: 6/10. 3 points off for internet IRL. 1 more for same old shit. He only gets 6 for being Jericho, the loud mouth himself.

Punk/Jericho segment was neat

Punk was neat. Jericho was ok.

I don't really want to see Triple H/Undertaker for a third time, but they're making the best of the story to tell. Last night was about as good a start as you could hope for.

As for long tights, I have a few reasons why I prefer them.
First of all, all of the wrestlers who I idolized when I started watching wrestling wore long tights and not trunks. Scott Steiner, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Christian and Jamie Noble all had awesome looking long tights and I always thought "when I become a wrestler, I want to wear stuff like that!".
I didn't really idolize any wrestlers who wore trunks until I saw Bryan Danielson, and by then I was already long tights-biased.

I also don't want to shave my legs, it's enough of a hassle to shave my gut and my armpits and get tanned.

Also, I think they're just cooler and allow me to do cooler stuff. You can't really do much with trunks, but with tights you can do loads of different designs and layouts.

Aaaand, I just don't think they make that much sense. Why would a wrestler, a tough fighter, worry about shaving his legs and wear briefs to a wrestling match? You're trying to win a fight, not join a stripper club.

Having said that, it does drive me kind of crazy that SO many guys in WWE wear trunks. It's bizarre. I remember thinking that about the cast of NXT season 1, where all rookies wore trunks.

I wish Jericho would go back to a long pant.

Is there a story behind the pegaso/horse motif?

Jericho's a great example. He's always had some of the best tights of any roster he's ever been a part of. Now he wears trunks... and they're just simple black trunks with JERICHO written on the back and a weird logo.

My wrestling name is Pegasus, hence the motif. That's what the japanese symbols mean - Tenma. The Horse of the Skies.
