Saying Edge carried Ziggler though that match is insane. Ziggler is one of the best wrestlers out there. And Swagger could be the next Kurt Angle if the WWE ever decides to put him back in the main event

Ziggler vs. Edge was a quality match at Royal Rumble and Ziggler is a quality wrestler. He is a better in ring talent than Edge. His only downfall is on the mic, but that's what Vickie is there for. Swagger... not talented? That a joke? Swagger is a real wrestler, much like Kurt Angle and other amateur wrestling style competitors. He's also a big guy, and his size coupled with that make him a key player in the future of wrestling.

Swagger and Ziggler are better wrestlers than Billy Gunn and Road Dogg (who is a terrible wrestler).

Not really. The match may have been quality but only because of Edge's in ring talent. Edge has become top card in singles since splitting with christian, and WWE clearly pushed him for that because of his talent. That and he has more mic skills then Swagger and Ziggler could ever hope to have combined. Sure he is a douchebag on the mic most of the time, but then again, he is a HEEL most of the time. That is his job.

Vickie has barely any mic skills either. Her segments of talking always go the same way. She comes out acting like an arrogant bitch then gets put in her place and decides to scream like a cat being boned by a Giant Black man named Petal.

Swagger, sure he is a "real" wrestler. But too bad Kurt Angle has already had that. He is a boring recycled gimmick minus the gold medal. His size is nothing compared to that of others. and honestly he holds about as little talent as Kenny Dykstra did.... Size doesn't make them a "key player" in wrestling at all. Look at Rey Mysterio. He is small AND TOP CARD.

Road Dogg and Billy Gunn as the NAO were good wrestlers. I have no idea where their talent went ever since they went to TNA. The VKM and 3LK were pretty terrible except for the fact that Ron Killings is extremely talented.

Have you got your eyes closed when watching wrestling? Ziggler is great in the ring! Bryan vs Ziggler was one of last years best matches in WWE and TNA combined(I don't put other federations because I don't get much access to them).
Show a praised Road Dogg and Billy Gunn match, please. I'd love to see that. Nexus was actually surprising and stating that you like the Attitude Era and criticize their run-in is not more paradoxical because you don't get understand math more. Not all their guys were talented, I'm still wondering how much cock Slater must suck to stay, but then I don't know how to count above a million and yet Wade Barrett can talk like no other while being a good wrestler, Hasky has impressive mobility for a guy his size and even Gabriel can hold his own in a ring.
Christian... dude! Did you ever see that guy wrestle singles? He's captain charisma boy and it's not just a nickname. He's small for a wrestler and Edge was bigger with a "meaner" face, which is the reason while one was pushed and not the other, but some of his matches and promos in TNA were great.

As for Gangrel, as much as I liked the idea for his gimmick... he was not pushed to be undefeated for a while for any other reason than the WWE does the same shit every fucking month! Khali had an undeafeated streak, Tyler Reks was pushed to be given an undefeated streak on Raw, Swagger was, Umaga, Ezekiel Jackson, Tatanka, Vito for four months!, CM Punk... and many many others. It's nothing impressive.

Also, Edge is clearly out of shape, the guy was farting out of his mouth like 5 minutes into the match.

This thread just went full retard.

Gangrel was rubbish, right up there with Van Hammer and the Demon. NAO were too. Road Dogg is a great promo and hype guy for sure, but that's hilarious, he's like Jeff Jarrett minus everything that ever made Jeff Jarrett remotely worth his salt. At least Double J had an in-ring prime; all Road Dogg ever had was crotch chops, shitty dancing punches, and a Charleston kneedrop. Oh and sweat pants. What the fuck kind of pro wrestler wears sweatpants? lol. The best thing I ever saw Road Dogg do was get his jaw broken by Bradshaw. Billy Gunn was a legitimately talented athlete who could've gone far, no doubt. But he didn't. He was average even by WWE standards, and saddled with go-nowhere gimmicks from day one. The one time he was given a real push without a retarded gimmick, he couldn't get over to save himself because he's just so thoroughly unlikable.

On top of that, almost every match in the Attitude era in which these guys existed was utter shit, up until about the time the Radicalz showed up. Garbage wrestling and fucktarded match booking with shmozz's and unnecessary run ins all over the place. The angles didn't even make sense. WWE does absolutely not need to bring that shit back. At all.

Kenny Dykstra is a hard working young guy who has a long way to go, but who's had some great showings in Evolve and etc. Even at the age of 20-something he's had better matches than any of those guys will ever have.

Freestyle wrestling credentials have absolutely nothing to do with the ability to construct a good pro wrestling match whatsoever and are completely irrelevant unless the guy with said credentials is working shoot/punishment style, because with the exception of those styles, pro wrestling is about psychology, not spladles and how pretty you can arm drag into a single. If freestyle credentials had anything to do with executing great pro wrestling psychology then Kevin Randleman would be WWE champion right now. Furthermore, almost never do freestyle wrestlers use their freestyle wrestling ability in WWE. The most I've ever seen out of any decent freestyle guy is the occasional double leg takedown, or reverse bodylock. Easily faked in WWE context by someone who has no idea what they're doing. I actually think the only time I ever saw Angle use his "mat wrestling skills" outside of bodylocks was the time he almost got his rotator cuff torn by Daniel Puder, and maybe that ONS match against Orton. Irrelevant.

Christian is an average-on-par WWE wrestler with slightly above average ring psychology who bumps like a crazy person and makes all his opponents look like a million bucks.

And if Sting signs with WWE it will most likely be just for a HoF deal.

The end.
was it just me or did aj styles promo was totally agreeable on why tna has been going downhill

Just got home from a great show today. It was our first event featuring foreign wrestlers as we brought over a couple of guys from Ireland. Had great fun in my tag match, and the guy I worked with, a masked wrestler called Irish Dragon, was a fantastic worker!
I'm very happy with the show so I just wanted to share that with you guys.

So although that Sting picture had surfaced there is a bit of evidence that leans toward the 2.21.11 promo being for The Undertaker.

1. The Song that can be heard in the promo is "Ain't no Grave" by Johnny Cash. The song's title alone should give hint at The Undertaker but the line "There ain't no grave that can hold my body down" makes it even more clear.

2. Also if anyone remembers this, The exact same song was used for the Undertaker in a Wrestlemania 26 promo where everyone is talking about his streak. The song being used twice would be a bit odd if you ask me if it was used for someone else, especially with the title of the song. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the other side, if you look at the FIRST PROMO that was used there are some facts that could lead to it being Sting. 1. from 0:8 you will hear his crow theme from WCW, it's not very clear 2. keep on pausing at 0:22 you will see a scorpion mark on the wall 3. the letters in slow motion spells Stings name /watch?v=zXuAeRqopns&hd=1 4. you will see an old house in this TNA promo /watch?v=NxnRrFQhXKw 5. Wrestlemania 27 will be in Atlanta Georgia the home of WCW 6. Raw 2 / 21 / 2011 will be in Sting's home state California

Not yet, I'll post a couple of pics up as soon as I can. There was also a fan at the event who drew a great portrait of me, it was very flattering. She said it wasn't finished yet but when it is I'm definitely buying it from her. We took a pic of me next to the sign so I'll put that up as soon as I get the pic as well.

Also, if anyone here is from Ireland, make sure you see me in action in Dublin when I wrestle on April 2nd for DCW, Dublin Championship Wrestling! Can't wait!

If I could I would go see the Rougeau brothers and take training from them here in Quebec, though they have really big ties with the mafia. Good thing it's already rigged.

Wow.. Rocky is back.

If this continues I may watch wrestling once again, something I never imagine myself doing ever again in the past 5 years.

The inner WWF Attitude era diehard fan in me has been rejuvenated and boy does it feel good.

The Rock's return was awesome but I really disliked his promos ever since the attitude era. They all go they same way and there is no variation. It's not even like his character causes it to go that one way. I don't know there is just something about him I don't like. But his return was cool to see anyway I guess.
