Miz is great, but giving him a title during this Nexus/Cena/Orton chaos? Ehhhhh.
Let him hold it until the Elimination Chamber
Yeah I noticed this too

The Miz could've been the first one to miss his cashing in and wouldn't have been too hurt... I don't think it's time for him yet, he has been in a losing streak that doesn't allow him to be a convincing champ yet.
Now, talking about Survivor Series. The best matches I very strongly believe were that of the first Elimination Chamber and the Alliance vs WWF match, the later being one of the best I've ever seen and with a great built up.

i totally agree. that was very unfortunate!
but i love how some people are so happy that he won yet it was at the expense of Randy Orton who almost everyone hails as the greatest thing in wrestling. so does that mean nobody likes Orton no more, or is Miz more popular?

My issue is not with the fact of having Orton lose the title, he actually is better without it, but so is Miz and the latter is a weak champion since in the last months he had been continuously losing, but he was getting so much heat, he didn't need to win. Now, we have a champ that doesn't seem to be a serious contender.

ah ok, cool. you three make valid points
now some sad news:
- Lanny Poffo reported on his Poetry in Motion podcast Wednesday that WWE Hall of Famer Bobby "The Brain" Heenan has been in and out of a coma at a Tampa, Florida hospital and isn't doing good at all. Poffo added that Heenan wasn't aware of anything and has been unconscious. Our thoughts go out to Heenan and his family.
i will keep him in my prayers as well

Anyone else been gradually hyping themselves up for massive disappointment for tonight's King of the Ring? Thrilled to have the tournament back! Wish it was a Pay-Per-View again! Hoping for a really solid winner! Almost sure to have hopes utterly crushed by night's end.
I'd go for an Alberto Del Rio/Bryan Danielson final for a hot wrestling final, but that's too good to be true. Wouldn't like to think Sheamus is in with a legit shot, even after losing to Morrison. McIntyre's scarily plausible, Rhodes a little less so. I don't need the winner to add a King prefix to his name, or wear the crown and cape for months on end, but am open to this prospect for select winners. Del Rio's probably the one to make it work.

JoMo should have won King of the Ring. He needs to get out of mid card hell.
Well, there were two good matches, one being the John Morrison and Sheamus one, in it, Morrison actually looked like face Champ material I believe. Pff... win for Sheamus, just so Triple H can come and fight someone who's over, pfff... Then the last one was surprising in a good way, though, once again, there is the issue that the Miz looks weak having needed help from two different people against a 56 year old Lawler, whose last match was pathetic. Good surprising match nonetheless.
Final note is Punk seemed greener this time when he was left alone with Cole, but he did a very good job announcing with the King and by himself.
Punk, is there anything you can't do?

I still feel Morrison is not main event level yet.

If he wrestled all the time like he did against Sheamus, yes, he would be, but then again he needs to change his finishers, his Shinning Wizard looks weak and so does Starship Pain.

SHAMOUS d. John Morrison to become King of the Ring 2010.
:-| Crap final, fella.
:-| Crap final, fella.
LOL at the pic. Nice.
I'm happy with RAW. Sheamus winning it was kinda predictable but there's nothing wrong with predictability as long as it's good and it makes sense. Morrison looked great but he's still just too pretty and nice to be a main eventer.
It's a bit silly that Miz needed help to beat the fucking King. With all due respect to Jerry Lawler, he's not even an active wrestler anymore so why put him over the champ? It's that old school rule of ''heels always have to be weaker than the faces''. Hey it gets Miz heat, I guess. But after beating Orton with the help of Nexus and almost losing to the King he needs a powerful victory real soon. Hopefully next week he beats a big babyface almost clean.
I loved the short and simple but effective backstage segment with Dibiase and Maryse. Having Ted look like he's washed up and tired made him look a lot more badass and gave his character an extra layer.

Once again, to show that the timing to making Champ wasn't good, you can see that right now there aren't many top babyfaces. The company has only pushed Cena as a credible top face. Besides him and Orton, who's available? Unless Punk comes back and feuds with him, there's aren't much options.
Bryan already beat him clean many times, Morrison has been in crappy feuds pretty much, R-Truth is not even close, MVP and Kingston are being brought up and down like yo-yos and Miz already had a recent pathetic feud with the Big Show.
