This thread is nauseating now with the amount of TNA-fanboyism and WWE disdain.

I mean really, every RAW certain people come in to tell everyone how bad it was. You could, you know, not watch a program you don't like. And really, botches? Do you really want to start talking about botches and bad mic work?

Orton isn't winning the title, and Dibiase isn't winning the Rumble...

I have to say I don't know who'll win the Rumble. My original prediction was Edge, but that would've made sense if Jericho won the World title in the mean time. There's not a lot of time left, so I'm not sure anymore.

I want to believe it won't be the same old bullshitters winning the Rumble. Cena, HBK, Triple H, Batista, those fucks. On the other hand, can't say I see Kofi winning it, or Morrison. I don't think they want to do a heel winning the Rumble two years in a row, and there's not a lot of young strong heels anyway...

Dibiase vs Orton for the title at Mania is a grim scenario. I don't want to believe that's what will happen at all; let them have their match but not for the title.

Jericho vs Edge would be perfect, IMO. Jericho only has until No Way Out to win the belt though.

Hahaha DiBiase winning the Rumble? Are you kidding me? He's not over, he has very little mic skills, people forget he probably exists half the time. I guarantee he'll get a conway pop when he enters the rumble. If he won I bet people would boo the shit out of the rediculousness. There's absolutely no way in hell he's going to win. Kofi has a better chance at winning and even then it's slim. It's probably going to be between Cena and HBK with HHH being the runner up yet again

agreed. hope it's HBK again, then he'll tie Austin with most RR wins

boo fucking hoo

ive tried to watch raw but i just dont enjoy it. every once in a blue moon ill flip it on there to see whats going on and end up changing the channel.

why not? botches and mic work are a big part of wrestling, and last time i checked this was a wrestling thread...or am i wrong? i figured you could tell me since you know every thing else.

crying about tna "fanboyism" but i dont see you bitchin when theres 20 posts in a row about wwe like its the only company around. im not a tna fanboy by far. i do enjoy it over wwe yes, but im not biased about it. (if i had to choose a us company id pick roh, but id go with anything from japan hands down over every other company bc they actually believe in it and care about having great matches) if somethin in tna is shit i always admit it. like how they fucked up hogans debut. if wwe actually cared about puttin on great matches every night like wrestling companies used to, maybe they would be more respected and taken more seriously but vince doesnt care hes more concerned with selling those dx glow sticks and cena wrist bands. in 1997 you could watch raw and believe what you were seeing, but nowadays the match quality is just scary.

as a wrestling fan and poster here, i have every right to post my thoughts and such about tna, wwe, etc and if you dont like what i, or the other "certain people" gotta say, then dont fucking read it. sounds easy enough doesnt it?

When Vince told HBK "If you want the Undertaker, YOU make it happen". That right there gives me a strong belief that HBK will win the Rumble and challenge the Undertaker for the title. So far thats my biggest guess. Another reason is that:

Taker runner up in '03 wins '07 rumble
Big Show runner up n '04 but not in WWE in '08
Cena runner up in '05 wins '08 rumble
Orton runner up in '06 wins '09 rumble
HBK runner up in '07 most likely wins '10 rumble!
HHH runner up in '08, '09, and probably '10 wins '11-'13 rumbles oh noes!

I'm looking forward to the royal rumble this year.

I like the idea of a Heel v Heel and Face v Face title matches.

Question though, WTF is happening with the Tag titles?
What a waste to have DX as tag champs

or on Raw. HBK did invite Taker to Raw next week, to give him an answer to his challenge

read this little gem today (would be interesting to know if it's true):

-- A 15-year-old male is accusing Randal Orton (a/k/a Randy Orton) of assault for allegedly spitting gum in his face and swearing at him outside the Kowloon Restaurant in Boston, Mass. after asking the WWE Superstar to pose with him for a photo.

After Orton allegedly spit gum in the 15-year-old's face and called him a "derogatory name," the juvenile's mother confronted him, who allegedly told her, "so sue me" when she voiced her protest.

A report was filed with local police, who say a hearing has been requested for Orton to face charges of simple assault and battery. A clerk magistrate will determine if the incident warrants a criminal complaint.

While the article states that the incident took place yesterday, it should be noted that WWE was actually in the Boston area last Friday for a live RAW event.

Kowloon is a frequent stop for wrestlers and other athletes who perform in the Boston area.

You can read the article in its entirety at http://www.wickedlocal.com/

also wanna share something with you guys. a local indy group called GDW:

If I'm not mistaken that was actually just a rumor that lasted a very long time.

I think the last time I read about it it was revealed it was actually just some cream designed to look like poop or something.

I have no idea and I don't care anyway, yeah Orton's a punk. That story may be true but as I understand it WWE was doing shows elsewhere when that event supposedly happened, so I dunno. He's not going to get depushed anyway.

Oh, and Vince Russo is full of shit and I can't believe he's ever had a job in this business. He's coming out with a new book? Jesus Christ. I actually bought his first book and I have yet to even get to half of it. Every couple of years I give it a go again and I can't read more than one page at a time. It is seriously a horrible read.

Jericho vs. Edge for WW? Ooh la la, I like the sound of that... Those two had a good rivalry back in 2006, especially when Jericho was apart of the Un-Americans.

I'd like to see that happen.

It's the perfect time. They're both main event level stars, both multiple time former world champions, they've been kept a part for a few years now... It would be perfect. It's bound to happen, I just hope it's for the world title.

impact was alright

guns vs generation me (suckish name btw)
i thought these new guys were just gonna job to mmg but midway though the match they turned it on. jeremys speed was incredible and the way they transition is awesome. max kinda botched his standing moonsault towards the end. didnt expect them to get the win, but they did

taz is starting to get on my nerves. he spends more time correcting his word fumbles then he does calling whats going on in the ring

nasty boys are annoying as hell i wish they would go away. they must haved stayed in team 3ds locker room for a while. then here comes team 3d beating on the door...which must have been made out of plastic...the damn thing was bending everytime devon hit it.

hogan mentions theres gonna be a big name star debut at genesis....dear lord i hope its not sid, but knowing tna it prolly will be.

the kurt/aj segment was pretty boring until the masked man showed up again attacking aj, then finally revealed himself to be tomko. and the only ppl that seems shocked about it was taz an mike the crowd hardly had any reaction to it.

get rid of bubba the love sponge. he sucks and needs to go.

beautiful ppl vs hamada and kong
quick and pointless match really, with kong/hamada getting the win. i guess the purpose of this was for the return of angelina love. good to see her back. she attacked all 3 of the beautiful ppl at the end of their match.

aj really needs to work on his acting skills. the segment with him and bischoff, he came off more like an angry 12 year old then that of a raging champion wanting revenge. i lol'd when he was talking about tomko and said "hes been attacking me from the behind". maybe thats tna's hint at a possible return of billy and chuck lol

then it cuts to beer money looking for bischoff. nothing bad here except for the fact that everytime someone is looking for someone else, or cutting a promo, most of the time they are in this same fuckin hallway tna has used 10000 times. they really need a new location to do impact. the crowd is so small it makes the show feel just as small. its kinda like watching wcw saturday night. i think bigger crowd help home viewers get more excited about things.

lashley attacked lethal and creed during their entrance then his woman gets on the mic saying how hes gonna attack everyone until they get what they want. LAME and no one cares about bobby, just give him release. i wont miss him. was a mistake to bring him to tna in the first place.
after he leaves, out comes team 3d to get a quick win over creed and lethal...buba has a friggin axe, which he takes with him to their locker room to chop down that plastic crappy door i mentioned earlier. when they get inside, what happens next is one of the worst sneak attacks ive ever seen. i feel sorry for team 3d for having to sell being attacked with a duffle bag, cardboard frames, and chicken wire trashcans. just uber lame.

no one knew who ajs attacker was, but within 30min of him revealing himself, tna airs a promo of tomko talking about why he did it and all...and they continued showing clips of this for the rest of the show.

now out comes val penis or wtf ever you wanna call him. talking his usual sexual innuendo bullshit, then daniels came out and attacked him. get rid of his ass and send him back to 1998 where he belongs.

tara vs odb is announced as a 2 of 3 falls match at genesis...i was hoping they was gonna do that for aj and kurt, but guess not.

beer money vs hernandez and mmorgan.
typical of tna to fuck up a good match with a run in by that roided out brit bastard.. soon after the wolfpac...err..i mean...the band comes out to the ring. pac jumps in by himself to take on hernandez and morgan. then hall and nash get in it. i love seeing pac back in the ring, but i cringe everytime nash moves. his legs bend all weird. and hall is just a slob. bischoff comes out to get his mic time, and hall cuts him off saying "you want me to drink all that guys beer?" which would have been funnier if he wasnt a drunken ass. beer money vs the outsiders at genesis. showed sting in the rafters for about 2 seconds before cutting to another tomko video.

wolfe vs joe.
great match here. was shocked to see wolfe get the win over joe. only complaint is that is should have lasted longer then what it did. but tna had to show 500 vids of tomko runnin his mouth.

i really liked the jarrett/hogan/bischoff segment. jj took a major heel turn here. my jaw dropped when he bashed all the tna talent and said it was all him that made tna a success.

aj vs tomko for the title
really liked the start of the match. flair came out and did some commentary, angle would later come out to watch the match and gave flair a hug. tomko looks to be a lot more flabby then his last stint in tna. matched ended with aj hitting the pele, which tomko almost botched (oops, hope the botch police doesnt show up!) angle runs in after the match to help aj who is getting attacked then offers to shake his hand, but aj turns and walks off leaving angle standing there to end impact.

i was reading a russo interview a few days ago where someone asked a question about bra and panties matches in tna, to which he said that he doubts that will ever happen bc he has lots of respect for the knockouts...yea, thats why there was odb vs tara in a drunken trailer trash match, or what ever the stupid thing was called, a few weeks ago.

tna has everything they need to be great, they just need to get rid of all the useless crap and stop scooping up talent just bc they were in the wwe.

I don't know how I feel about this Jarrett heel turn...
I kind of picture this. Hogan and Bischoff have a meeting after the Monday Impact. Hogan's all pissed off that the fans booed him and cheered for Jarrett in their promo.

''Bischoff brother, we gotta turn Jarrett heel''

So that he doesn't come off looking less popular than Jeff.

But I do think I might be over analyzing it.

of course not. Orton will fluff it off like it never happened, if it indeed is true, and continue going about his douche-bag ways, and go unpunished. similar to the incident that involved Jericho and some fans last year in Vancouver. of course Jericho wasn't at fault

and yeah i agree about Russo. he spews his shit so much he actually believes what comes out of his mouth

If dirtsheets were to be believed, that woman got what she deserved because she tried to hit Jericho. Laying a finger on a pro wrestler should be considered an act of attempted suicide.

I know Orton has a rep for being unnecessarily discourteous towards certain people too, but in this case - if what was said is true - he didn't do anything wrong. He's a heel, and a heartless unpredictable one at that. If he's not abusing fans then he isn't doing his job properly. This isn't even news.

The ever controversial Shibata smile

There is actually video footage of the Jericho incident, and it's pretty clear that the fans were complete dicks and Jericho was kind enough to not kick their asses.

BTW Shibata, in a different subject, I was wondering what your opinion is about gimmick matches like Ladder and Steel Cage matches.

anyone going to watch Genesis tonight? i might. if anything just to see who the big aquisition might be:

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
heard it might be Kennedy and also The Brian Kendrick might show up

and in other news, Bubba the Love Sponge is a dick. i mean i can forgive Orton cause it's "his character" and all that shit, but fuck Bubba, he should be fired. hell he should be shot out of a canon! what a piece of shit

from twpnnews.com

-- After you and other sites reported Bubba the Love Sponge's disgusting remarks towards Haiti, a large number of fans tweeted Dixie Carter sharing their dismay that her employee would say something and get away with it. Bubba responded with some derogatory remarks towards those fans personally, including calling someone 'Osama bin Laden' due to their name. Not only that he has his "Bubba Army" aka two or three guys find their personal info such as phone numbers and numbers of relatives and harass them.

In summary, fans outraged at the remarks... if they mention it on twitter. Beware. Bubba will have his guys harass them AND their families.

A few people have mentioned boycotting TNA because of this.

and here's what it's about:

-- TNA has announced that they are going to ask all fans who attend next week's TV tapings in Orlando to bring donations for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. That money will be donated to the Central Florida Headquarters of the American Red Cross. Dixie Carter had the following to say... "The photos and video from Haiti are tragic. We want to help. We have to help. The money raised at The iMPACT! Zone is just a start of TNA's plan to help the country of Haiti."

TNA's backstage interviewer Bubba The Love Sponge doesn't seem to share Dixie Carter's concern for Haiti. Here is what he posted on his Twitter page. "I say f*** hati. Why do we have to take care of everybody our country is in shambles. Bubba".

Bubba and the Nasty Boys need to get the fuck out.

As for Genesis? I am watching it no doubt. I want to see who the big name is, I want to see Kendrick vs Amazing Red (if it happens), I want to see AJ vs Angle one more time, I want to see Scott Hall no show and get replaced by either Waltman or Steiner, and I want to see the return of the four sided ring.

first they scrap the 6 sided ring. which is a dumb move. the crowd was all over hogan and bischoff for that.

venis going over daniels is a joke.

they figured out a way to keep halls bloated ass from wrestling.

mr anderson was the BIG STAR that debuted. gimmie a break. i was more excited to see kendrick

then they end the show with aj going heel? what the fuck??

tna will never cross that line if they keep shit like this up.

TNA's new ring is the old WCW size ring too, apparently.
I didn't watch it last night but I read about it on prowrestling.com and as for them getting rid of the 6 sided ring wtf a six sided ring is what made tna different than any other wrestling promotion god hogan and bishoff just had to destroy something that was different

Thank God for the new ring. I couldn't stand the six sided one, though I wasn't sure if it was a good idea since it had become TNA's signature.

Watching AJ vs Angle in a four sided ring was a dream come true.

However, that finish was fucking awful. It was an amazing match all the way to the finish. Seriously, this is how they're going to make AJ a huge star? By turning him heel? One of the greatest high flyers in North American wrestling is going to become a star... as a heel? Give me a break.
And Angle beat AJ clean too, made him tap out. Great message to send to the young guys. At least the Band lost to Beer Money, but Morley beating Daniels is mind boggling.

Enjoyed Kendrick vs Red but I wish Kendrick had won.

I liked Anderson's promo and he got a great reaction. He isn't exactly a huge star but I think it worked.

There was one backstage segment which was god awful, where Hogan said ''ask not what TNA can do for Hulk Hogan..'' that was REALLY lame.

I did like one thing in particular about the PPV- it didn't come off as the usual TNA bullshit where they feel the need to put the whole roster on the PPV. It felt good to not have a hundred guys shoved down my throat without anyone getting over.

Well, I want to see where this shit is going. I don't think AJ as a heel is going to work in his favor, but we'll see.
