I saw the ending to NoC. Too bad Hardy is the champion again. Also, am I the only one that hates how CM Punk's heel turn turned into CM Punk wanting to stop kids from doing drugs? I thought CM Punk was going to be made into an awesome heel. Instead, we get this. That sucks

Watch him use it in ROH it's pretty freakin sweet.
I like the gimmick because it creates something I enjoy a lot: The heels that aren't actually all that wrong. I love that kind of character, like Chris Jericho, become it just makes the characters more realistic to me and a lot deeper. If a guy's a heel just because he's a dick it's kind of boring and old, but guys who actually know what they're talking about are a whole new level of heel awesomeness.

And who didn't see the Beat the Clock finale coming? Of course Cena was going to win when HHH lost

MARYSE GETTING INJURY DIAGNOSED
Former WWE Divas champion Maryse is in Birmingham, Alabama and will be examined by Dr. James Andrews on july 28th. It's believed that Maryse may need knee surgery to repair ongoing issues with her kneecap.
In December 2008, Maryse suffered a dislocated kneecap on a house show in North Carolina after being dropkicked by one of the Bella Twins. She was able to avoid surgery at that time due to the level of initial treatment she received and was able to return to the ring several weeks later, but has had ongoing issues with the knee since then.
It was obvious she was off during her bout with Mickie James last night.
We'll have more as soon as possible

I wish her a fast and good recovery. Thats's too bad. She is my favourite diva.

Old stuff with Cody, but yeah that's the Triforce. He's a comic book nerd and claims he plays and beats LoZ:LttP at least once a year. I guess it makes sense really, it's hard to imagine wrestlers being big gamers but the younger guys are now from our generation. I'm pretty sure Cody is actually only a few months older than I am, which is a little depressing for me...
Beat the Clock is awful, I hate when WWE brings that crap back. Evan Bourne should be the #1 contender since he beat Swagger in under 4 minutes while Cena took longer than 4 to beat Miz. But no, that's not how Beat the Clock is set up. The way they do it is just simply for the lack of better words, retarded. So yeah, it's garbage. Obvious finish once Triple H lost... god forbid they let someone new and exciting like Mark Henry have a championship match.
Masters looked pretty good, yeah. He's not too bulky like in his debut but not overly thin like when he returned from his suspension. He moved around the ring pretty well, which is was one of his bigger problems in his first run. Definitely looking forward to seeing what he can do.

just a little tidbit i found online. happened after Raw was off the air last night:
-- The post-RAW interaction featured a birthday celebration for WWE RAW star Triple H. After Triple H tried to exit the situation, which featured numerous WWE stars and Chairman Vince McMahon, McMahon reeled him back by threatening to sing the happy birthday song. Pastries and cake flew as the wrestlers attempted to hit Triple H. Then, in the final moment of the celebration, Big Show and Vince McMahon held Triple H down as Batista, the local star, came out to pie Hunter in the face.
At the last second, HHH ducked, causing Big Show to take the pie.

According to sources, former WWE star Elijah Burke has signed with TNA Wrestling and will be debuting in the company soon with a new ring name.
Burke had a tryout match with TNA back in late May in a match with former WWE developmental wrestler Shawn Spears who spent time briefly on the Smackdown brand.
Both got rave reviews by TNA officials following their match. Jeremy Borash also hinted recently on his official Twitter page that "Elijah Burke" would not be coming to TNA, seeming to suggest that he would be coming in under a new name. Burke was released by WWE in October 2008 and has recently spent time in Ohio Valley Wrestling (a former developmental territory for WWE) where he got his start.
Negotiations have continued by WWE in attempts to get the old Mid South Wrestling tape library owned by Bill Watts' ex-wife Ene Watts. WWE has been trying to purchase the collection for many years, but the price tag from Ene Watts has been too high (Bill Watts has nothing to do with the negotiations). Ene reportedly has been attempting to negotiate a contract for Erik Watts as a wrestler as part of the deal and WWE is understandably not big on it.
» There is still no definitive return date set for Edge, who is recovering from recent foot surgery. The hope is that he can return in time for WrestleMania season to work a program with Chris Jericho.
» As noted earlier, WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco underwent heart surgery a few weeks ago and was described as being in great spirts afterwards. The surgery saw doctors go up through an artery in his leg to close several birth defects in his heart which was never discovered until he had a series of strokes around a month ago. He is expected to make a full recovery.
There has been a lot of talk within TNA over how Jeff Jarrett’s situation could both positively and negatively effect those within the company. There are plenty of former TNA wrestlers and employees watching the saga closely, as they believe Jarrett was the main reason they were let go in the first place. TNA president Dixie Carter has a good reputation for reaching out via email or calls to people who have been let go and letting them know that it wasn’t a personal decision and that the door is open for returns. Meanwhile, several current TNA workers are watching the saga for a different reason -- they feel their jobs are in jeopardy. Here’s the latest on the status of several major players in TNA, according to the PWTorch.com Newsletter:
Vince Russo: The controversial TNA booker has been telling people he fears for his job and believes TNA president Dixie Carter is on the verge of making major changes. There is plenty of speculation that anyone being perceived as one of “Jeff’s guys” is on the bubble right now. However there are sources within the company who feel Russo will stick around, while Jarrett’s other cronies like Dutch Mantel may not be so lucky.
Jeremy Borash: Borash is also tight with Jarrett, but the feeling is that due to his solid work ethic and likeable personality, his job isn’t at any risk at all.
Terry Taylor: The TNA head of talent relations’ job seems to be secure. He’s butted heads with Jarrett many times, and gained the respect of many within the company by finalizing contracts with several top talents within the last six months. If anything, Taylor could actually gain power if Jarrett doesn’t return.
Scott D’Amore: The former TNA creative member is believed to be on good terms with the company, but still wouldn’t get serious consideration from Dixie Carter for the head creative position if Jeff doesn’t return.
Pat Kenny: The former TNA agent’s name continues to come up in discussion as a candidate for a bigger role in the company. Kenny was a favorite of Dixie Carter and many were shocked when she allowed him to be released.
Matt Conway: The low-profile creative team member is believed to be the only booker who isn’t on the bubble right now. Carter added him to the team to serve as her eyes and ears, and he ended up become friends with the other bookers. He’s in his 20’s and most of the office feels that he has a better pulse on the target demographic than anyone else on the team.
Don West: Despite the recent change in performance, many company sources believe his days as a color commentator are numbered. Dixie Carter isn’t high on West, who is a friend of Jarrett, and the assumption is that Taz will take over his position sometime sooner than later. However, there’s still interest in using West as a backstage pitchman.
Christian: While it’s a moot point now, people close to Christian say that if Jarrett had been removed from power earlier, Christian may have never left TNA and returned to WWE.

TNA President Dixie Carter Buying Out Jeff Jarrett?, More
Source: PWTorch.com Newsletter
TNA president Dixie Carter did not reveal her immediate plans at the TV tapings last week, but backstage rumors are swirling of her possibly buying out Jeff Jarrett and making creative changes.
The office was apparently in disarray last week, as some office workers weren’t sure who to speak with regarding things they would normally have gone to Jarrett about. Carter has apparently spoken to some of the top wrestlers personally regarding the situation, but aside from them, the only people in the know are her inner-circle. There likely won’t be any official announcement on her decision for a while.
“Dixie has seized complete control of the company and she will be going over the Jarrett allies (closely),” said one TNA source. “If anyone in her inner circle has something bad to say about those people, they could be gone.”
While Carter has technically been in control of the company since she purchased a majority share, she hasn’t really asserted her power and allowed Jarrett to run the wrestling end of the operation. She has a reputation of avoiding confrontation, but the feeling is that she’s stepping up at a crucial time that will define the company going forward.
(i don't like this at all )
-- just one other thing. what's your guys' take on some of the new ECW stars, like Sheamous, that Japanese guy Yoshi Tatsu and Abraham Washington? me, i don't like Sheamous or Washington, but that Yoshi Tatsu is cool

Sheamus - Good. Unique looking, solid big guy in the ring.
Yoshi Tatsu - Non-joke Asian guy is nice. Hopefully he isn't regulated to typical status
Abraham Washington - Really bad gimmick
Tyler Reks - I'm a little meh on him right now, but he seems okay.
Also, Brian Kendrick released. As expected really. Sad, this guy was a vying for the World title less than a year ago and actually was a temporary champion for a short period of time. Yet, they keep giving time on RAW to Hornswoggle... WWE just don't know what it's doing anymore.

That sucks about Kendrick . But In Tna events I was a little surprised by the finish. I thought it was gonna be same bullshit finish The Mafia beats down on Mick Foley blah blah blah and the show ends on there music. But I liked what went down. Sting shows up distracting Kevin and Kurt than Bobby Lashley comes out takes them both out and Foley gets the win and becoming The Legends Champion. Though Foley as the Legends champ is a little dumb . But I liked this Impact in a whole.

oh yeah, forgot about Tyler Reks. guess that's cause i've not seen him yet i guess. i'll give Sheamous credit that he's a solid big guy but i still don't find him really all that overly impressive. some folks on another forum board are over hyping the dude a little too much
as for Kendrick, yeah it's a shame that WWE thinks more highly of a midget than of someone who can actually do something. Hornswoggle's not even that good of a midget wrestler. i've seen way better midget wrestlers

i agree. but id rather have foley as a legends champ then have him grabbing the world title again. i was rather shocked to see hernandez get a clean win over joe.
tna seems to be going overboard with all their groups/factions lately. now theres the "world elite"..which in ways i like better then the mafia, bc anti-usa groups and wrestlers always get reactions from crowds.
dono why they are having sting vs brutus magnus next week. thats got dq writtin all over it...or some kind of interference at least.
i would like to see the mafia be disbanded. would love to see sting be the one to do it. just because he never got to take down the nwo (since wcw kept bring it back over and over). would be cool for him to take his crow character to a different dimension..i wanna see him like the joker (dark knight) bc of that damn purple coat hes been wearing lol.....maybe a split personality an has flashbacks of nash and the nwo screwing him over making him go to the "dark sting". and by getting his revenge on nash/mafia he can be freed of his "crow" gimmick (kind of like how the crow movie went) and go back to the surfer sting, or perhaps a new one all together.

I agree on the Hernandez thing I was really surprised. I thought it would end with Taz or something interfering and that would be it. But I was really glad he won that match. And I think that Sting should take out the Mafia him and AJ . I like Lashley in Tna idk im getting a good vibe from it. Plus I think the Mafia may end soon (hopefully) .
And as far as Jarret and Tna I smell Russo written all over it.
Plus, I'm hearing that D-Generation X may or may not make a return at Summerslam. Why? Well Triple H is gonna take on Legacy ina 2 on 1 match and he has already said he has to kill off Rhodes and Dibase before he can handle Orton. Which may carry on till Summer Slam. However I have been seeing that he wanted to make a return more toward Survivor Series. But Vince made the decision for Summer Slam to kick up ratings. Much like he did in 06. My thoughts on this it could be cool but what can they really do when the show is PG?? Well we shall see...
