I bet Vince is gonna come out after the match. He'll fire Goldberg for being destructive and a loose cannon, and he will fire Lesnar for losing to Goldberg, cause of the fact that Lesnar begged Vince for the match. Jus my theory.

Goldberg To Remain With WWE After WMXX
Story By: Keith Wilcutt
March 10, 2004
Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald reported the following today in an article about Lesnar leaving the WWE this Sunday.
"Ironically, speculation was Goldberg would wrestle his final WWE match at WrestleMania, but since becoming friends with Stone Cold Steve Austin and the apparent departure of Lesnar, look for Goldberg to remain with the company -- possibly joining the SmackDown roster."
I have not heard this anywhere else, but it would make sense for the WWE to possibly coax Goldberg back to the company with one of their major superstars leaving.
======
I don't care too much for Goldberg, but if this is possibly going to happen and be another saving grace for Smackdown!, then that'll be good. Personally, i'd say have KANE go to Smackdown! as well and between him and 'Taker, they could do their own feuds seperately but have a whole fresh lineup of people to go against.. Have RVD and Booker T go too, they'd have a lot of good feuds they could get in to as well.

Here's some news reports:
Backstage Reaction To Brock L:esnar Leaving WWE:
Source: 1 Wrestling
-- For over a month now, Lesnar has been saying things like "If I could get the same money doing something else, I would quit the WWE. Many members of the Smackdown roster, seem to the happy to hear about to Brock Lesnar's decision to leave the WWE after Wrestlemania. People have said things from "Good riddance" to "He'll be back once he realizes how good he actually had it here". Nobody who has been talked to has had anything positive at all to say about Brock Lesnar.
"He had a reputation of being a whiner,He was always ing about the travel schedule....as if he had to travel more than we did. It was tough on all of us and we got tired of hearing him complain about it" said one Smackdown wrestler who talked to us.
We were told by another Smackdown wrestler "At least now I can talk to you without fear of being killed by Brock Lesnar!" That comment was referring to an infamous outburst by Lesnar in a pre-show meeting a couple of months ago when Lesnar lashed out at internet leaks and promised to kill anyone he caught on the internet.
WWE Scheduling 2 PPVs in June, Goldberg Update, Big Show:
WWE will be having 2 PPV's in June, 1 for each brand. 6/13 will be Badd Blood for the RAW Brand and 6/27 will be the SmackDown brand's PPV. The name of that PPV is unknown.
Miami Herald has this article up on Goldberg
Ironically, speculation was Goldberg would wrestle his final WWE match at WrestleMania, but since becoming friends with Stone Cold Steve Austin and the apparent departure of Lesnar, look for Goldberg to remain with the company -- possibly joining the SmackDown roster.
Also on the list of wrestlers planning on leaving/taking time off is Big Show due to his injuries. But because of the recent events he may not be allowed time off. Big Show's injuries are elbow and knee pain.
Partial credit goes to PWTorch
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I really hope that Goldberg sticks around, he would be a fool to leave, and Vince is an idiot to let either Lesner or Goldberg leave, but Vince has always said "if you don't like it here in the WWE, there's the door", but I guess we'll have to wait to see what happens after Mania. I can't wait for SD this week. More news tomorrow.

Nope, Nash's contract was up as of Febuary, so he and Hall have been tagging in TNA and another promotion, I think called UPW, and Vince apparently appeared on their also.

Wow! so much to talk about.
First off, I think SmackDown! was a pretty good show tonight. With Brock Lesnar leaving(damn it), the ending set-up a pretty good storyline for Brock Lesnar leaving. The SmackDown! roster hated Brock for all the attention hes been getting from Heyman, so they let Austin walk down the walkway so he can get his hands on lesnar, I was shocked to see even Big Show letting Austin through and telling him to go after Lesnar. that just proves that even the heels hate lesnar and wants him gone from the WWE. I can't wait to see what happens next week on SmackDown! sence Lesnar will be gone by than sadly.
With Edge confirmed to be a Raw superstar now. this is so fucked up. can the WWE be this stupid? HellO! Brock Lesnar is leaving SmackDown!! so why the hell are you getting rid of yet ANOTHER SmackDown! wrestler and sending him to Raw? Edge is gonna look so out of place on Raw, hes a SmackDown! wrestler and now the WWE are gonna be stupid and put him on Raw, even with Lesnar leaving SmackDown! I mean, what the fuck? are they perpously TRYING to destroy SmackDown!? Lets just hope that Rob Van Dam is traded to SmackDown! like it has been reported or The Undertaker will be the only bright spot on SmackDown! anymore.
I also want to talk about the World Title Triple Threat match. I know alot of people (even me) are gonna be heavily PISSED if Triple H retains the Title and he will. I'am just going to except the fact that he will retain the title at WMXX So when he does, I won't be as pissed or shocked about it. I've been thinking about this and theres something I though of. Backlash is going to be at Chris Benoit's Hometown in canada. And the plans is for him to Win the Gold there and I think it'll be better that way. Say Chris Benoit actually does win the title at Mania, he would just loose it at Backlash back to Triple H. BUT, if Benoit does win the title at Backlash instead, than that means Triple H wouldn't have to fight Benoit again sence their backlash match would be THE re-match after Mania and the fact there won't be any PPVs for Raw after backlash so Triple H won't have any chances of Getting the title back from Benoit so he would have a nice long Title Reign after Backlash. For this Benoit/Triple H situation. It will only get worse for it to get better and I'am willing to except that HHH will retain at WMXX so when Backlash comes around, Chris Benoit will be your new Champion and Triple H's long exausting, boring, tiring title reing will finally be over. so until Backlash is over. I'am just gonna say "fuck Raw" and just concentrate on keeping up with SmackDown! no matter how limited the roster is until Raw gets a new Champ

Well, if they both leave, I've heard a lot of different stories, Smackdown needs to elevate talent. I hate to beat a dead horse here, but send Booker T, RVD, and a few others over to Smackdown for Edge. That way Smackdown gets better and Booker and RVD get the shots they earned. I'm sure there will be some major moves after Wrestlemania, and a lot of guys will be switching shows. Also, Cena's popularity could carry him easily to the next level. Eddie is way over too tho, and you wouldn't want to make one of these guys a heel, so until Eddie loses or turns bad, I don't see Cena gettin a shot.

I like everyone's predictions for Mania, including the Brock/Goldberg match where Olympic thinks Austin stuns them both an declares himself teh winner, lol, funny shit. Smackdown was a good way to send off to Mania last night, Austin rolling in and stunning Heyman and kicking Lesner's ass stole the show!!
On to the news, which some of you may have seen already:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks to ProwrestlingInsider:
-Howard Stern stated on his talkshow yesterday that he will not be at WMXX as was previously rumored earlier this year. He said he wanted 1 million dollars for the appearance, but Vince only offered 5k.
-Sports Illustrated has an article in their latest edition where they went backstage at Raw. Here are some quotes from the article:
HHH: "Sure, we could do something with you. You (Rushin) could be ... the Ballpoint Pen. We'd put a little blue cap on you. you could go in the ring and stain people."
HHH: "The kid (Shane-o Mac's 1st kid) looks just like his grandfather. Has a cleft chin, just like Vince. Cries when he's hungry, just like Vince."
HHH: *as the crew is setting up the TitantTron* "I wouldn't even know where to start; I can't even hook up my VCR."
Jericho: "When you hear that (entrance) music, you know it's time to make the donuts."
WMXX Press Conference Notes:
Credit to ProwrestlingInsiders
-The fans booed loudly when Vince McMahon talked about the brand extension.
-When Paul Heyman came out a huge "ECW" chant broke out. Triple H made a comment saying "This is Wrestlemania, not a bingo parlor", while Heyman grinned.
-When Brock Lesnar came out, there were several remarks from the crowd about him quitting. Neither Vince nor Brock mentioned the fact that he was leaving the WWE after Sunday.
-Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman, & Vince McMahon introduced all of the matches for WMXX.
-Kane's match with the Undertaker was announced as an "Inter-Brand" match so it appears Undertaker will remain on Smackdown!
-John Cena did a rap about how he was going to be the new "repo man."
-When asked if any former wrestlers would be appearing on the show, Vince gave the usual "You never know what will happen."
Thanks To PWinsiders for the following:
WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar will be on KFAN radio in Minneapolis on Monday morning in what is expected to be his first Post-WWE interview. For those of you who live in the area, you might want to check it out and see what Lesnar has to say about his future.
In addition to running two PPV's in June, the WWE will also run two PPV's in October and the RAW PPV, is expected to air on a Tuesday night.
The latest on Edge is that it appears he'll be returning as a member of the RAW brand. He's expected to be pushed as a top babyface upon returning.
With Brock Lesnar leaving the company, and the loss of Edge, many of the Smackdown superstars are beginning to think the company views them as the "second class" brand in WWE. They also point out that Smackdown, which was originally named for The Rock, has lost him as well.

Austin did the same exact thing back at Judgement Day 98 when the Main-Event was Undertaker Vs Kane for the WWF title and Austin was speical Guest Referee, When Both Taker and Kane were knocked out, Steve Austin pinned the mat and declared himself the winner and new WWF Champion.

-- Apparently there was some sort of heated "altercation" between Billy Gunn and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at a hotel where they were both staying. They were staying at the 'Manhattan Hotel'and the incident reportedly took place in the hotel's bar. At this point in time there is no confirmed reason as to why the two of them got into this disagreement. Gunn and Austin have no reported history of problems between eachother. Keep checking back for more on this story, as it unfolds.
-- TNA recently announced a huge new marketing campaign. The suiting campaign title, is called "Wrestling Reinvented." From Dixie Carter, president of TNA Entertainment: "The contest of wrestling has gotten out of hand. In an effort to shock the viewer, storylines in our industry that were once considered obscene are now unfortunately common place. For a period of time now, Total Nonstop Action has made a conscious shift in the content of our shows and will continue to do so. We have distinguished our product from our competitor and provided the pay-per-view buyer with a true alternative." She explained the programming as clean, innovative, cutting edge with high risk and high-flying athleticism.

That's all for today, hope everyone enjoys Wrestlemania XX tomorrow, it should be a great ppv.

If the rumor is accurate, I think I figured out how they are gonna explain Brock Leaving, storyline wise....
Vince: "It looks like you've got something to say, Brock! Do you?"
Brock: "Yes, I certainly do!" (voice changes to Vince')"I have to go now. My planet needs me."
[the frame with Brock on it is crudely moved upwards]
[some crudely-scrawled titles move up, stating "Note: Brock died on the way back to his home planet"]
