this is just off the top of my head:

2000 (16)*
X-7*
X8*

XXIV
That's how many main events at WrestleMania have had outside interference. All the ones with asterisks are the ones involving a McMahon (or in the case of 2000, all four of them)
and even when they're not involved in the main event, the McMahons (or at least Vince) is usually in WrestleMania some other way
XIX: Vince vs Hogan
22: Vince vs Shawn Michaels in a street fight
23 Lashley vs Umaga (Trump vs McMahon, loser loses hair)
and actually, Shane got involved in both 22 and 23, so you can add that to the list
trust me... one or both factions will get involved. And I know it sucks that they can't have a straight up match, but you can't really say interference will ruin it... if that's true than over half of the main events at WM have been terrible

see not half of the mainevents at WM have been terrible, just the ones u listed!
lol, those were just the ones I could think of off the top of my head... I could name others, but not with specific numbers.
Like Yokozuna vs Bret Hart at Cesar's Palace. Mr Fuji threw the salt in his eyes. And then Hulk Hogan got involved. And ended up winning the title.
umm...
Oh! obviously the very 1st WM main event had 'Superfly' and 'Cowboy' Bob Orton.
man, I used to have a DVD with the history from like 16 down... i'm gonna have to find that and watch it
I'm pretty sure that even the infamous Hogan vs Andre the Giant match at WMIII had Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan interfering (if only slightly)
but yeah, you get my point

ok, i looked it up... not including the ones I previously listed:
IV: Randy "Macho Man" Savage w/ Elizabeth and Hulk Hogan vs. “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase w/ Virgil and Andre the Giant
V: Hulk Hogan vs. Randy "Macho Man" Savage w/ Elizabeth (who ended up actually helping Hogan)
VII: Hulk Hogan vs. Sgt. Slaughter w/ General Adnan
VIII: Randy "Macho Man" Savage w/ Elizabeth vs. Ric Flair w/ Mr. Perfect
Hulk Hogan vs. Sycho Sid w/ Harvey Wippleman (there were 2 main events)
IX: the aforementioned Hart vs Yokozuna
X: Hart vs. Yokozuna w/ Mr. Fuji and Jim Cornette
XI: LT w/ a bunch of NFL guys vs. Bam Bam Bigelow w/ The Million Dollar Corporation
and I'm getting tired of the history lesson, but you get the picture. And that puts it over half of the main events
honestly, the only WM i can think of w/o managers or any interference is XX, with Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H. And those were damn good matches
what's funny though, is that usually the side with an unfair advantage loses at WM, and that's usually the heel. The only exception to this rule is The Rock... in 2000 and X-7, Rock was a face in those matches. But he did have Vince McMahon's help in XV, and was a heel. And he lost.

Starting this April on WGN America, you can catch WWE Superstars, an all-new program featuring Superstars from all three brands in first-run matches. This show will more than likely be a platform for Superstars having trouble getting ring time on the televised Raw, SmackDown and ECW programs. Thus far in 2009, about two dozen WWE stars have had trouble getting ring time on either of the three main shows. Here is a list of the WWE wrestlers you can probably expect to regularly see on the program as they have all had two matches or less on television so far this year (through this week's SmackDown):
At last word, Batista is slated to return to the ring in early August from hamstring repair surgery.
- WWE.com has announced that Smackdown star Scotty Goldman has been released:
World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Scotty Goldman (Scott Colton) as of February 20, 2009. WWE wishes Scott the best in all future endeavors.
Goldman had been used very infrequently on WWE televsion in the past few months and hosted the WWE.com show "What's Crackin' with Scotty Goldman" that was just renamed yesterday to "Good as Goldman." On tonight's edition of SmackDown, Goldman will actually be competing in his first televised singles match in just over five months when he squares off against Umaga. Goldman actually made his return to television two weeks ago in an Elimination Chamber qualifying battle royal. He was the first wrestler to be eliminated.
WWE has contacted the recently released Sgt. Slaughter to see about coming in for an on-air appearance with the Chris Jericho vs. Legends storyline. Nothing is confirmed but WWE has been contacting other Legends to take part in the angle.

Great, maybe by then I won't be sick of his face. But I swear, if they bring him back and let him win a world championship like they did with Cena, I'm going to kick my t.v. screen in.

hmm, well, as a self-proclaimed wrestling geek, i do remember those and i own every Wrestlemania to date as i got the anthology a few years ago, but it's always nice for a little history recap. course when you've been watching wrestling for as long as i have it gets easy to forget sometimes what went on. so that dvd u talked about, did it come in a book? if it did, i've got the same dvd/book u have, the history of Wrestlemania from WM1 - WM2000
I'm pretty sure this is old news by now, but I just wanna know because I never really understood why he left, did Johnathon Coachman left the WWE to work for ESPN because he wanted to get paid better? I just want to clear this up because I never really understood why he left.

Not sure which i want as a ring tone!

i don't believe it was because he would get paid better, it's just ESPN made him a good offer, he felt he had done everything he wanted to do with WWE, and i think he mentioned being burned out, so he took the job with ESPN, which, according to a recent interview awhile back, he said he has no regrets. personally i was happy he left.
and in case nobody heard, WWE released Colt "don't call be Scotty Goldman" Cabana, right after Smackdown last week

Once The Rock left, Coachman pretty much faded into obscurity. Man I miss Rock promos.

Well, there was a commercial with the Rock promoting his new movie. He said, "Hi, DJ here!"
Yeah, I just thought that was really, really, really weird. DJ? Really? He went from the Rock to DJ? I dunno, I just thought I'd mention that

Well, there are a number of certain things on why he did that. He's no longer wrestling anymore, why keep his ring name? On the movie cover for the posters it has his full name and not the Rock... copyrights? Possibly, though I'm not good in knowing that kind of stuff.
But there could be reasons why he used DJ instead of the Rock.
The WWE and Dwayne Johnson have mutual ownership over "The Rock" trademark, as far as I know. I realize he wants to "distance" himself from wrestling so he can be taken seriously in Hollywood, but seriously, he was promoting his crap directly to the WWE fans and it was intentional. He should have addressed them as The Rock, end of story. I don't care if he calls himself "DJ" anywhere else, but when he's making a shameless plug during RAW, he ought to honor who made him what he is.
