Actually no, the ''whole point'' of TNA is not to do the opposite of WWE does. That would be pretty weird, and I'm very glad you're not the head of TNA.

And that's the gimmick Booker T had during his most recent and biggest success- it's not a rip off, it's the gimmick he was doing. Just like Kurt Angle, Christian Cage, the Dudleyz, Rhyno... Why shouldn't TNA keep using their gimmicks? It's one thing to rip off a gimmick and give it to somebody else, but in Booker's case, I don't see the need to comment ''real original''. It's what happens most of the time in pro wrestling when a wrestler goes from one company to the other!

So Chris Harris made his WWE TV debut on ECW last night. Of course he debuts on the shitty brand.

...And if I was the head writer of TNA, I sure as fuck wouldn't be pushing WWE talent in TNA which doesn't do any bit of good in terms of ratings or promotion. TNA is playing the same chess game WCW did when they were acquiring WWF's talents. I never and don't plan of doing it any time soon, followed Booker-T's career but I do think in my opinion, the whole "King-Booker" gimmick isn't his biggest success. It went too far. Oh gee, he won King of the Ring so that means he deserves to be called King Booker for almost a year and start feuding with anyone who doesn't want to kiss his royal feet. I just think he needs a better gimmick. Booker T made his debut and started feuding with Robert Roode. Okay, that was decent. Then he suddenly got into his whinning-bitch mode and started pairing up with Team-3D with no explanation. Now TNA is pushing him to go up against Samoa Joe for the title. That's lame considering Booker T promised he was going to push younger talents in TNA. =/

Question....since when has Booker T ever been concerned about younger talent? The only talent I'd ever seen him give the rub to was the M.I.A (Misfits In Action for those keeping score at home) as G.I. Bro....and that sucked big time. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong on this, but that's about all I can think of.

And pushing guys like Christian, Team 3D, Booker T and Angle is the way to go- TNA just sucks at pushing anyone, so wether it's their home grown talent or WWE-imports, TNA always does it wrong.

Also, putting Booker T in the main event against Joe is the right way to go for Booker to put young guys over- namely Joe. You can't expect a multiple time former World Champion, who was world champion in the biggest wrestling company in the world just a couple of years ago, to just come in and job to midcarders- it would just hurt Booker and not really help a lot of guys.
Wrestling booking isn't all black and white, it's very complex and right now Booker needs to be kept strong in order to put young guys over in the near future.

Well, let me say this, let's all admit that TNA will never EEEEVVVEEER be as good as WWE, is terrible at pushing talent, both homegrown and WWE rejects/imports, and is heading down the direction of WCW, and that we all disgree on Booker T in TNA!

Booker can pull off pretty much any gimmick (Save for G.I. Bro...), so i'm up for whatever TNA wants to do with him...

i was told to make this topic in this thread so how are the royal rumble anthologys vol 1,2,3. i just got vol 4 and its good. what matches are on sets 1,2,3. thanks. ps cant wait to get the summerslam anthology.

Ok, so you like know that the Anthology is every Royal Rumble in history right? Cept for this years. So volume 4 is all the Rumbles from the last decade and then some, so volumes 1-3 would be all the othe Rumbles, and let me tell you it's an awesome set of dvds, especially for a wrestling historian buff like myself, so you want to know what matches are on the set, well, that's too much info to post here, so I'll tell you one better, go to this site: onlineworldofwrestling.com, and look under the PPVs and it'll have every Rumble card there is, and then you'll know. But since you've got volume 4 already, I don't see why you wouldn't want the other 3 volumes to complete the set. Oh, and I also would reccommend the Wrestlemania Anthology as well, it's the best one, and I also can't wait for the Summer Slam Anothology, as I've not seen all of those

I watched AM raw last night to catch up....and I must say the kane angle is kind of interesting, but kane himself...is horrible. It's been so long since i'd watched smackdown, and I just don't bother with ECW, but kane has gotten worse, if that's at all possible.

The HBK/Y2J angle is the highlight of raw for me right now. It's so well done, I just hope the actual match even halfway lives up to the promos.

Very ehh... interesting way to end Raw last night. Though I must say, to me... this was the dumbest way to "injure" a wrestler. Even dumber than the limo exploding with Vince "in" it as well as the Ambulence that the Rock was in when Hogan drove the truck into it.

Wow, what's gonna happen now? Like I don't know what's gonna happen to it already.

Though the way Raw kicked off was something else. Just a random brawl breaking loose, after what we've been told what was supposed to take place.

Well, it was a pretty good show. I must say it was a good show.

Of course it's funny how we're all suppossed to believe he actually ran Cena over, but when JBL looks at the camera, you can see the "Oh I missed" look on his face.

i missed the end of Raw, and i'm happier not knowing what happened, because the way you people make it sound, it was fake as hell...

I missed it to, and like you, I'm pretty glad I did. How many near death accidents can they possibly cram into a year. I remember the whole "who ran over stone cold angle" and it worked (aside from it being discovered that Rikishi was the culprit **WTF?**) but that's because it was unique at the time. McMahon's "death", his "accident, John Cena being "run over"....it's just getting incredibly stale and unimaginitive.

In other news, I'll be suprised if Punk makes it passed the Bash with the title. In the dark match after Raw went off the air, Batista demolished and pinned Punk inside a minute. Oh batista, I knew you wouldn't be long without the title. Lets hope i'm over reacting.
