That... at least 7 of those happened when I went to a show last year. But you missed one:

11: Five 12 year old John Cena fans screaming at 50 year old men when they'e booing at Cena directly.

That made me laugh.

It just occured to me that WCW vs the World on PSX is a fucking BADASS game, and is way better than the SVR series. Seriously, I didn't even realise that shit when I was a kid. But the roster for that game is like... the best roster ever. I just found out that all the 'fictional' characters are just re-skinned versions of a whole bunch of awesome wrestlers. Ken Shamrock is in that game. Bas Rutten is in that game. Jushin Liger, Sabu, Kenta Kobashi, Minoru Suzuki, TAKA Michinoku, Karl Gotch, The Great Muta, Dr Death Steve Williams, Mitsuharu Misawa, etc are all in WCW vs the World. And probably not even 1% of the people who played that game even knows it. It's like the best kept secret in wrestling game history.

I'm gonna go watch Mutoh/Kawada from the recent Champions Carnival.

TNA Crew Member Tragically Killed Last Night

source:prowrestling.com

"This is very sad news. Following last night's TNA PPV Slammiversary, a crew member was tragically killed.

During they were taking down the stage, a piece scaffolding broke and the man fell 15 to 20 feet to the concrete below. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but died on arrival.

The name of the deceased has not been released yet."
Oh, and Jimmy Wang Yang got suspended for 30 days for his first wellness policy violation.

I could not copy and paste the article on here, but the doctor who prescribed the steroids to Chris Benoit pleaded "Not guilty" in court.

Just in case you guys were interested in reading a short little article.

Super agent Larry Sweeney has pulled another power play. Sweeney has brought the historic NWA World Heavyweight Title to Ring Of Honor. Adam Pearce has been the NWA World Heavyweight Champion since winning a 16 man tournament on September 1st, 2007. However, ROH has never recognized the title. Now Sweeney is forcing the NWA World Heavyweight Title on ROH.

"What a glorious debut of a true belt with honor," Sweeney said. "Right on PPV I threw it in the face of ROH officials. I pulled out the belt they are afraid of because they know it's more prestigious. From Lou Thesz to Giant Baba to Terry Funk to Harley Race to Ric Flair to Adam Pearce, no belt in the history of wrestling has a prouder lineage. Now its under my control."

ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness is actually the first to voice his opinion on the NWA Title. McGuinness believes this his belt is more prestigious in the modern era. This issue didn't take long to build. Nigel wants Pearce on June 27th in Dayton. The historic bout has already been signed. June 27th in Dayton will have ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness vs. NWA World Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce in a Title vs. Title Match!!!

"What closet to Sweeney find that dusty old belt," McGuinness said. "Now I know the NWA World Heavyweight Title has a rich history and I won't disrespect that. In fact, when I win the NWA World Title its history will become the history of the ROH World Title. There is only one place I want this match and that's Dayton. I still love the fans of Dayton and they still respect me because they've been with me since the beginning. I will make history on June 27th."

We'll have much more on this match in the upcoming weeks. The main event for June 27th has been signed and its Title vs. Title!!!

Well just got done watching Slamiiversary a minute ago. I really loved the opening match up, of Kaz vs Petey for the X Division title. Great stuff there, hard to believe it's an opening match up since it was awesome, fast paced, multiple false finishes, use of a lead pipe, blade job, and interference.
Enjoyed Steiner's post match promo (which made total sense), but I have to ask what the hell is up with Abyss's new costume. It looks like a halloween joke outfit. Are we supposed to believe that he actually wore that in the asylum? What the fuck. I guess we're getting Abyss vs Steiner.... what a dream match. Not.

The girls did a great job as usual, and that first girl that Awesome Kong destroyed was unbelievably hot. I hope she's taken into the TNA Knockouts roster.
The Eric Young Elvis crap is finally over, and I didn't enjoy a single second of it.
Jay Lethal's wedding to So Cal was...I dunno. Just, OK I guess. Didn't bother me.

The Tag Title match was pretty good, it was to be expected from LAX and 3D. And of course, Salinas made the whole PPV worth it.

AJ vs Kurt Angle... well, it was great just... I know that they could do SO much better. This wasn't even close to Angle's match with Eddie at Wrestlemania. I really hope they have a proper rematch where we finally get to see them give it their all and put on a true MOTY.

And finally, King of the Mountain was pretty fun to watch, well paced and very well booked. Loved the finish. And Christian really did a great job as well, can't wait to see the title back on him again some day.

Certainly better than Sacrifice.

I know, that's one game I want to get a copy of, if I can ever find it. My buddy has a copy, and I played it, and liked it. It's not as good as WCW vs. NWO World Tour for N64 though

The American Dragon on raw.
Yeah I was like What!?

Obviously, Danielson's appearance on the taping is going to spark rumors and speculation. For whatever it's worth, when contacted about Danielson working the dark match, ROH's Gabe Sapolsky stated, "I have no comment about everything."

Danielson was under a WWE developmental deal early in his career, wrestling for Memphis Wrestling when it was an official WWE territory. He has made a number of appearances in enhancement roles in the past for WWE, but has not made any such appearances in recent years.

And in other news:
The recently released Ring of Hell: The Story of Chris Benoit and the Fall of the Pro Wrestling Industry book alleges that Vince McMahon has something of a "love affair" for cocaine that may or may not have ever subsided. Here is what was written in the book:

According to numerous sources, McMahon had a great love affair with cocaine that may or may not have ever subsided; "he liked to brag with apparent justification that 'I can snort as much of that stuff as anyone can put in front of me and never get hooked."

One WWE employee of recent years told me, "The boys and former office staff use euphemisms when they talk about Vince's 'energy.' You'll hear it in things like, 'I don't know where he gets all the energy..... He doesn't ever seem to sleep!' The inside joke about it is that sixty-something Vince most likely isn't that energetic over multi-day sleepness stretches without help. I've seen him so wired that his eyes looked like they were going to pop."

This makes a lot of sense to me.

Ok, this is a couple of days late, but who saw Vinnie Mac get rickroll'd the other night on RAW? omg, i started f'ing dying right there in the middle of my office, and no one knew what I was laughing about! I wonder if that guy did that on purpose... grin

Also, methinks after what Jeff did to end the match on raw, he's gonna get put into the match at NoC. idc what anyone says, but Jeff needs a world title run, imo.

Am Drag and Cade know each other from HBK's school.
Danielson is one of the greatest wrestlers alive, and whether Vince McMahon would ever book him as a champion or not, it doesn't matter, I'm sure Vinnie Mac sees Dragon for what he is, he just can't push him in the WWE since it's a mainstream wrestling company and Dragon is about as indie as a wrestler can get. So, I don't see anything special about him going over Cade.
