Well it's just that it's not a matter of opinion, Eddie won the world title, headlined Wrestlemania, retained the title there, had incredible matches with guys like Angle, Benoit, Rey Mysterio, RVD, won the WWE tag team titles multiple times, won the U.S. title... not to mention all the things outside the WWE.

If Eddie didn't die, WWE wouldn't have inducted him into the HOF as early as they did.

Obviously, since they don't induct active wrestlers, only retired ones.

For example: His run in ECW, Running a Luncha Libre Stable in WCW, All the work he did with the Mexican wrestling territories, His stint in Japan, and all the titles that came along with those

It's not only about the screwjob, I mean, he can't stand him... even before the screwjob, he thought of Shawn as a hypocrite and manipulator... He didn't like the click and he is right, I mean, Triple H is always against people being pushed, except Cena. He is the main reason Rob Van Dam didn't get pushed more and that dude is really a great crowd pumper.

Wow i didnt know that about Trips what a D-Bag. I always liked RVD in the original ECW and was excited when he came to WWE but soon realized he wasnt the Rob Van Dam of old but rather the Rob Van Dam I Suck Bad (its a lame joke i know). I still cant figure out if it was WWE that ruined him or just his style didnt translate well to the WWE, which hold true for alot of ECW wrestlers.

BTW, Zentile so you train in wrestling, what kind of style do you wrestle and have you had any matches yet.

You completly missed the point, the point was that Bret Hart doesn't care as much of the screwjob as before, yet he still doesn't like Micheals and Triple H because they are hypocrites and use their influence not to allow people to get pushed.

How you gonna base someone being weak just because of the way they punch in wrestling? I think you're forgetting RVD is a mix martial artist just like Samoa Joe so his punches may differ from everyone else.

i never said rvd was weak now did i? i said he has the weakest looking punches in wrestling. having a weak punch doesnt make you a weak person...just look at lex luger.

samoa joe is far superior to rvd in the ring. but its also different circumstances. like i said, i used to love rvd..but ever since hes been in wwe, he has slowly dropped off...his skills have gotten worse..he looks slower...and it has nothing to do with him getting older, its because the wwe has basically fucking baned everything that made rvd famous, so hes forced to do the same crap over and over in every match.

he hasn't had the chance to grow. i think he would be better off somewhere like tna or japan.

It's beacuse wwe has a certain style of wretling which dose not cater to RVD style like the old ECW.

If you paid attention... every wrestler performs the same crap over and over... not just RVD.

Yeah, Illusion, he never said RVD was weak, just that he had weak looking punches. Not that I agree, but I've heard so many different opinions about so many wrestling strikes, I guess it's really just a matter of taste.

As for Joe being far superior to RVD, man that's just so much nonsense, I swear to God I'll never get the hype. I'm not a big fan of either wrestler, but I do realize that to some extent Samoa Joe must understand in ring psychology more than RVD - but I guess that's not saying much. But that certainly doesn't make him a far superior wrestler. RVD is a better technical wrestler, a better athlete, and of course with those pluses comes tons of moves that Joe can't dream of doing or at least making them look half as good as Van Dam's.

Someone above asked me about my wrestling. So far, I've wrestled 6 matches, 5 of them in Portugal, one of them in Spain, in total I've wrestled for three different promotions. I'm a far better heel than I am a babyface, and so that's my current role. My style is sort of ROH-ish, but less intense and more psychological and therefore also similar to WWE style.
Due to my inexperience and the styles of my usual opponents, sometimes my matches nearly come off as X Division style. I'm not particularly proud of that, though.
Thanks for asking.

Thats pretty badass Zentile. I considered training but dont have any good schools in my area, i did go to a school in St.Louis once but they had little kids in the ring while i was trying to get my falls right, it really through me off. Ive got somewhat of an amature background, but i found out real quick that it dosent translate as well as one may think.

What name do you wrestle by, and not to sound like a dick or anything but for some reason i saw you as a heel in my mind.

I wrestle as Pegaso right now. It's my third gimmick so far though. In APW I wrestled as Kid Joe (with my attire consisting of your basic elbow and knee pads, and dark blue and white gym shorts), in EWE I wrestled as Pegaso Junior (This time wearing a mask, Benoit's Pegasus Kid mask to be precise) and now in WP I wrestle as just Pegaso, and I wear blue tights with a Pegasus on the right leg and ''PEGASO'' written on my ass. I also wear 70s style sunglasses to the ring, and it's the only gimmick where I'm a heel. As Kid Joe and Pegaso Jr., I was a babyface.
Even though I liked being a babyface, I noticed it really didn't give me any personality at all. It's so hard to be interesting and unique as a babyface, I really admire those who can pull it off. It's easy being a heel, at least for me.

Hey, undertaker15-0, did you say that Lex won't be inducted into the HOF cause of "murder"? WTF? He won't be inducted, cause WWE doesn't induct washed-up hasbeens and losers

I thought this was funny.

According to a report in the latest edition of the The National Enquirer, Hulk Hogan, who is divorcing his wife Linda after nearly twenty-five years of marriage, cheated on her with a female friend of his teenage daughter Brooke. The woman in question is 33-year-old Christiane Plante, who worked with Brooke on her CD release in 2006. Plante confessed her affair with Hogan in the tabloid. Plante claims the affair took place in 2007 while the family was shooting Hogan Knows Best. Christiane said: My relationship with Terry began at a time when Terry and Linda privately knew their marriage was ending. She had left him already, although no official papers had been filed. Terry is a good man, good father and a good friend, and he and I grew close at a time when he was going through a very difficult period. It seemed right then, but I know it was wrong. Having felt the guilt and pain build up, I gave a note to Brooke apologizing for my actions. I will never be able to fully forgive myself for this. I have lost an amazing friend."

In other news:

Judas Mesias may be on his way out of TNA. The word going around backstage at Tuesday's Impact tapings was that Mesias has worked his last match with the company for a while. Both sides are open to working together in the future, but several people backstage are under the impression that they don't have any future plans for him.

After joining TNA last fall, Mesias is still working without a contract. Mesias is one of a few talents working under a pay-per-appearance deal with TNA. The reason for this is that some non-contracted wrestlers enjoy the freedom of working non-TNA shows, and they wouldn't be able to work certain shows if they signed with TNA. In Mesias' case, he's affiliated with the AAA promotion in Mexico, which is a major promotion there. If he signed a contract with TNA, he probably wouldn't be allowed to work there anymore.

Mesias makes approximately $300 more per match in TNA than in AAA, so that figures to around $500 per shot. However he can wrestle up to five nights a week in Mexico, and earn nearly $100,000 per year there, which is presumably more than TNA is willing to pay him.
