In addition to WWE performers being told that they can no longer verbally call their spots in the ring and they must work stiffer because of High Definition broadcasting, they are no longer allowed to have spray tans. Shawn Michaels and Ken Kennedy were said to be two superstars that were culprits of this lately as the spray tans can run and cause obvious distractions to viewers watching in HD.

Actually if ya want to get technical, Paul Heyman ruined ECW by letting it get so far into the hole, it went bankrupt!

Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff suggest that ECW went under mainly because of the one-dimensional nature of the ECW product, and that it appealed to only a small segment of a national audience, and therefore it was doomed to either go under or remain a small company.
But Paul Haymen said that ECW went under because they had no (sympathetic) network television. "That's the only reason." He didn't stop there, saying that if anyone says otherwise is either "dead wrong" or "doesn't know what he is talking about."

Wtf? Chavo new ECW champoin? What a disapointement!
Let's hope CM Punk regains his title very fast.

I would have liked it better if he went with a different character developpement, but Chavo is a great wrestler, so I'm happy. Anyway, CM Punk is already quite over, so not being champion won't hurt him, he was made the ECW start quite fast enough and will undoubtly stay so for a while.

I personally wanna see Dreamer get a one-on-one chance at the title. Considering he was one of the "founding fathers" of ECW, and they're using him as a freaking JOBBER?!?! Horseshit, imo.

How about no. I'm actually excited that this guy has a better role in ECW than on Smackdown. The Eddie Gurrero/ Rey Mysterio battles were making me sick of watching Smackdown. Even though its been a while since those rivalries happened. That's why I dont' watch it anymore, even though Edge is on that, I still don't watch it. I'm actually glad Chavo won the title. And it would be ashame if he lost it within the next PPV. Give the guy a chance I say.

I want one of the three following people to be ECW champ when Chavo drops the belt in a few months
Kevin Thorn
Tommy Dreamer
Stevie Richards
Yes, Stevie should be the champ. He is YEARS over due for that title

I'm just wondering, should Thorn go to Raw? Why I bring this up I have no clue. A friend of mine and I were talking about what's going to happen in Raw and Smackdown these next few days, and I was asking her if she would like to see Thorn go against Michaels with his religion or not. She thought it was sort of an old idea because it already happened with him and Vince, but I want more people to tell me if its a good idea or not rather than just her opinion.
Because ppl back at my school, we're the only two that actually like wrestling still. Nobody else cares for it, and asking others for opinions kind of sucks when you only have one person responding rather than having a mass of people. So what do you guys think about that? Probably not one of my best ideas, but hey, you'll never know.

Does anyone know about the guy who replaced Pacman Jones at the pay per view? He was spose to have a contract by TNA. I guess that all didnt work to well. I've seen a video of him and he's really just a watered down version of Ron Killings.....

Could you have named two more unlikely people in Richards and Thorn?
I hope to God Dreamer doesn't get the belt. He never had it in him, and he certainly doesn't have it today. He does a fair job of getting guys over by jobbing, but winning? No way.
1992 is dreaming... I mean, how can you put a belt on someone that nobody has seen in months and has had not hype... Stevie is indeed good, but he will just stay at developpement being coach, not pushed. Thorn, they tried to do something with him, he just wasn't good enough.
Dreamer... he just looks damn plain and that is it... There is just so much you can do with a character whose only quality is that he's been there for a while.

Tommy Dreamer > Thorn > Richards
Stevie used to be Raven's fucking flunky back in the old ECW, and has always been someone's flunky, I'd hardly think that qualifies him to be an ECW Champion. Thorn is alright, but he's still too green, and really hasn't found an identity yet, and seems to be going through alot of character changes, maybe whene he "finds himself". Dreamer deserves to be Champion more than either one of them cause he's given his ass to the wrestling business, and even if he is old and plain as some of you say, he still should be given some due

Just got back from an ROH show and all I have to say is holy shit what a great fucking show and the betls have changed from AOTF to NO Remorse Corp. The only bad thing about the show was that it had to end. It was so great being in front row.

Vince McMahon has given his approval for a storyline involving incest. We first reported on the angle tat would involve Ohio Valley Wrestling wrestlers Katie Lea and Paul Burchill last week. The angle would likely take place on either ECW or Raw, because there is some concern that it would get the wrong kind of heat if it were to take place on SmackDown -- which is on network television.
McMahon has wanted to do an incest angle for years. He once suggested that he be the father of his daughter Stephanie's baby. As revealed on the McMahon DVD, Stephanie turned down the angle. According to her, Vince was to reveal himself as the father of her baby; when she said no, he pushed for Shane to be the father, but she turned that idea down as well.
The incest idea was first batted around in 1999 where Ken Shamrock and Ryan Shamrock (his storyline sister) would end up as lovers. Ken nixed the idea and that was the beginning of the end of his push at the time. There is some irony in the angle as Ken and Ryan ended up as a real-life couple at around the same time frame.

So, it's Royal Rumble today:
my predictions:
RandyOrton vs Jeff Hardy:
Jeff Hardy wins the WWE championship
Edge vs Rey Mysterio:
Please, make so that Rey wins. We don't need a guy that needs to cheat to win titles remaining champion.
The Royal Rumble match:
I'd rather say a superstar with experience such as HBK, Triple H, Undertaker or Batista.
MVP vs Ric Flair:
I like both of them but I don't want to see Ric Flair retiring. So, Ric Flair.
Y2J vs JBL:
JBL winner.

Predeecteeonn:
Ric Flair vs MVP - Easiest call, Ric Flair beats MVP, hopefully clean because since this angle started Flair has been made to look like a total fluke, winning his matches by DQ or count out.
Rey vs Edge for the World Title - Fairly easy call as well. Edge ain't dropping the strap till Mania, and Rey is just filler, their feud hasn't even been compelling. Edge takes the cake home.
Chris Jericho vs JBL - Jericho has to win this one since he "lost" his first pay per view return match, and come on, it's freaking JBL. Code breaker should get the pin in a quick exciting match.
Randy Orton vs Jeff Hardy - One of the greatest feuds in a very long time, one that almost makes one believe that Hardy, filler like Rey, will be beating Orton. He obviously wont, Jeff's never going to win the WWE championship, and besides, he hit Orton with the twist of fate on the last RAW, so Orton gets his revenge at the Rumble. Should be a very good match, though, probably match of the night.
Rumble: Undertaker wins. Batista and Triple H are two other likely picks, but I'm sticking to Undertaker so he can challenge Edge at Mania. Shelton Benjamin, Matt Hardy (if he's in the match), CM Punk (he should be in it as well) should put on very good performances.

I don't think Taker should win this time. Last year's rumble was classic. I doubt that WWE is going to do the same thing. If they are, have two different people.
It's either have two completely different people, or have Michaels win it again.
