It's got to be a pretty dark and depressing mood backstage at Raw tonight. And someone, anyone, please tell me that Vince has enough brains now to end the whole "I'm dead" shit and get back to reality. I mean, surely to god he's not that fucking stupid to keep it up in light of this.

Shiryu if you were talking to me i meant when i saw it on this site that i thought it was a joke because their was no link posted etc. It didn't look serious then i realized my mistake when i saw it on the sescoops site.

I think he meant the reports that they put out like the whole vince thing.... I mean I am still in awe... first eddie and now chris... i cant believe this is all true...

At first when i went to wwe's website i knew it was true because the whole site was just about dedicated to benoit.... and I am very happy that vince came out and what he has done for tonites raw..... dedicate it to the best techincal wrestler there is......

the opening of raw shocked me a little bit, no one was there and i thought they were just going to cancel the rest of the show with news like that.

and to those who missed the opening of raw, vince mcmahon was standing in the ring announcing that the show was suppose to be based about the demise of his character, but he stood in the ring, holding back tears. instead, its going to be about benoit

RIP Chris Benoit one of the best technical wrestlers there is and ever was.

One thing that we will not do, my friends, is call each other names because Benoit is dead.

Just got home and I'm absolutely shocked at what I've read... Benoit misses Vengeance for personal problems and he's found dead the next along with his whole family? That's just messed up.... too messed up. I don't even know what to say :|

What was the date of eddie's death? Wasn't it around this time. Thats just fucked up.

Vince didn't know Benoit was going to die, I dont see how he's a disgrace. Instead of being so angry, we should all be remembering Benoit for the incredible performer that he was.

i loved chris benoit. He was a deserving individual and i's a damn shame he went so soon. He only got t wear the big strap twice, which REALLY sucks.more than 15 years of fucking experience flushed down the toilet.

Well reports say that the authorities wont tell how he, his wife and their 7 year-old son died, but they do say that it wasn't due to shooting.

My friend who's training with Lance Storm in Canada told me Benoit's family had been coughing up blood. So maybe it was poisoning or gas and I'm assuming Benoit committed suicide...

I just got home and heard about Chris, his wife and son passing away. Honestly, it was hard enough when Eddie passed, but to hear about another great performer passing and it being THE one guy that I would give anything to be in the presence of is heartbreaking.

Personally, if there were to be anyone close to a near perfect performer, for me he'd be #1. I've never seen a match of his where I thought that he just mailed it in and I always thought that he'd be the standard in which how wrestlers should perform in the ring. I loved the fact that he wasn't great with the mic. All that he needed to convey was done in the ring.

If Smackdown was past the point of boredom, I'd hope to at least watch a Benoit match to make the night worth something. It's not just that another great performer has passed away, that's hard enough. But it's my #1 favorite wrestler who has passed that makes it painful. And to also hear that his wife and young son are gone as well makes this all so tragic.

My sympathies goes out to the families of Chris and his wife.

Me and my dad were talking about the WWE and he told me about how in the beggining of the show, Vince showed up and proved he was dead. We started talking about how the story is just ruined now. What is the WWE gonna come up with now that the Vince is dead storyline is over?
