Haha, I figured that would be the response, lol. No worries.
Bill Hammering show was awsome, I will admit that. When I saw it I was like "whoa......". I remember a Nitro once when had worked sooo many spots in that show. Multiple matches, a run in, etc. . Late in the show he tried to Jack Hammer some dude, forget his name but it was some tag team. Anyway, had him up but was stumbling around and almost lost him over the ropes, lol. Bill was so worked and gassed out, but he was still trying, haha.
Man, hogan basically blew out his knee getting up from his couch...that's so lame. Seriously, think about that shit, fella's, lol. I will never understand why people hug his nuts. "sigh"...whatever....back to watching delirious.

I totally agree with you! One dream match I hope to still see, Austin vs. Goldberg, it's hard to say who'd win! I wouldn't know who to cheer for, I like them both!

That was awesome, I was as Awe struck as everyone else was! I remember in a later interview, that Goldberg said it hurt him when he lifted that big bastard up and jackhammered him! He said he almost blacked out! Wouldn't surprise me though, Show weighs the same, or more than Andre did, and Hogan said it hurt him when he slammed Andre!
Zentile, what does APW stand for? I forgot to ask you.

Goldberg actually beat Sting, here is a quote from the WCW archives:
"Later on in the night, Sting won over Hollywood Hogan (current WCW Champ), who laid down for him. Sting, apparently angry about that, challenged anyone in the back at the end of the night. Goldberg took the challenge, and defeated the World Champion, apparently regaining his former strap."
The only way anyone can defeat Goldberg is with weapons, cheating, and just plain pay offs.
To TheMkGeek: Thanks for your agreement with me, and I never knew that Goldberg had a later interview where he said he was going to black out, lol. The Giant was 7'4 550+ lbs, I don't blame him for wanting to, LOL!

Hey awhile back someone said hey it looks like Kane's trying to grow his hair back. I kind of agree with that statement now looking at Kane tonight against Benjamin. It does look like hes trying to get it longer then when it was just like barely shaved i mean its not much and maybe im just seeing things, but that will take forever if he is.
I was gonna say something about markness but I decided to just stay away from it.

Cool, thanks Zentile and DamRho! Oh, and if either one of you can help me out, RaisnCain, pmed me about the meaning of the term "Mark", and I was a little vague, so if either one of you could enlighten us as to the true meaning of the phrase.

He'll most likely won't be in the WWE for long. Back in late 2002, he lost his passion for wrestling, and didn't care if he got fired. He didn't come to many shows in the WWE and got fired for it and really didn't care. I'm not saying he's gonna be there for a short while, but that's something to think about.

A "mark" is a wrestling fan that believes that there is no "kayfabe" and that everything about wrestler is real. A "mark" believes, for example, that face and heel characters truly hate each other in their lives outside of wrestling as well, and that their gimmicks reflect their real life personality.
That is as far as I know, maybe I'm wrong lol
'Mark' in the traditional sense means pretty much any person who a promotion makes money off somehow. Beit through paying for tickets for shows, ordering pay per views, buying merch, or just watching the shows on television (advertising revenue and ratings). 'Mark' in the sense used in this thread was pretty much explained though.
But all this talk of backyarders like Goldberg and Austin is making me ill. So i'm going to do you all a huge favour and hand you some of the best wrestling you'll see EVER on a silver platter. Youtube is your friend, SO RAPE IT ALREADY. Seriously, people need to take advantage of this while it's here because it pisses me off that so many people think Kurt Angle is the best wrestler to ever have lived. Here are some highly recommended classics i've found over the past few days - good matches featuring wrestlers that don't suck, and who actually know how to wrestle a proper match not aimed at 8 year olds - WATCH THEM OR DIE (especially the first three, which are widely considered to be some of the best matches in modern pro wrestling history). I don't how much most of you guys will appreciate these, but most of them are rated **** or *****.
-Mitsuharu Misawa vs Toshiaki Kawada - 7-29-1993
-Mitsuharu Misawa vs Toshiaki Kawada - 06/03/1994
-Mitsuharu Misawa vs Toshiaki Kawada - 7/23/1999 (Triple Crown)
-Kenta Kobashi vs Naomichi Marufuji
-Kenta Kobashi vs Kensuke Sasaki (worth watching for the unbelievably stiff 5-6 minute chop battle of doom alone)
-Kenta Kobashi vs Jun Akiyama
-Kenta Kobashi vs "Dr Death" Steve Williams
-KENTA vs Naomichi Marufuji (rematch)
-KENTA vs Genichiro Tenryu
-Katsuyori Shibata vs Genichiro Tenryu
-Mitsuharu Misawa + Kenta Kobashi vs Toshiaki Kawada + Akira Taue (Probably the best tag match i've ever seen)
-Toshiaki Kawada vs Kensuke Sasaki
-Hulk Hogan vs the Great Muta - 1993 (see Hogan actually wrestle a half decent match)
- MICK FOLEY vs Toshiaki Kawada - Triple Crown - 2004 (W.T.F?!)
-Minoru Suzuki vs Jun Akiyama
-Samoa Joe vs Necro Butcher (Everyone knows Necro can't wrestle for shit, but he's indestructible, and this is the infamous match regarded to be the hardest hitting American wrestling match in a long, long time, stiff as HELL)
This isn't even half of it. There's a ton more stuff there if you look for it, some of it better than what I just listed.

-Kenta Kobashi vs Naomichi Marufuji
-Kenta Kobashi vs Kensuke Sasaki (worth watching for the unbelievably stiff 5-6 minute chop battle of doom alone)

Wow those are good man, nice job. But where is Mankind vs. The Undertaker in that Hell in a Cell match where the Undertaker threw him off the edge of the cell onto an announcers table. That was one hell of a match, with the tacks and everything.

Ehh I think Kurt's good and all definately not one of the best. Hey where's Joe and Punk I, II and III. I mean Punk's had some great matches while in ROH I mean sure he lost them all against Joe but they were still great
