Nah, I think it is just an opinion, your. Just like this is my opinion, I enjoy watching Batista a hell of allot more than I do Booker T, and if Booker T retired tomorrow, like the old saying goes/went, "that wouldn't be a bad thing, that would be a good thing"! Strickly IMHO!

Batista might not "have half the in ring ablity booker has" (so says you), right now, but give him time, and he'll prove he can hang with guys like Booker T! IMHO!

Nope, not his opinion, fact. You have a hard time telling those two apart wink

It's not about potential, it's about push! If Booker T had recieved the right push he'd be way more popular and much more of a fan favourite these days.

Well, if anyone looks at the WWE front page its official Jeff Hardy has become the biggest jackass by signing with WWE. Jeff in TNA = cool. Jeff in WWE (unless they bring back the Hardy Boyz) = Lame, or stuck jobbing for the IC title.

Honestly I give Jeff 6-8 months before WWE fires him and TNA is like screw you, we wont take you back because all you do is miss shows.

I mean I like Hardy in ring because I'm a sucker for high flying stuff but come on thats pretty lame to just jump back to WWE. But then again its the only place he can go. He gets booed outta ROH (Death before Dishonor 1 Hahaha!) TNA probably wont want him back. And everyone else doesn't care.

So Unless Hardy teams with Matt again or has a really great match like his ladder against Taker. I don't see his career going that far

I disagree...once Jeff gets back on TV (hopefully SD! where Matt is) I can see Jeff and Matt going after possibly london and kendrick for the tag belts, or Jeff making a cruiserweight or US title run. Match I wish I could've seen: Rey vs. Jeff for WHC=Insane Spots

Checkin in, Phoenixwarrior
EDIT: Throw the Hardyz in ECW. If they do like they used to, they'll be right at home. Give them the ECW Tag Belts(when they finally get around to bringing them back) Think about this match: Dreamer and Sandman vs. the Hardyz. Just think about it...

I did think about Kendrick and London vs. The Hardy boyz but then I thought it would have to be Ladders, not TLC because them on Ladders would be insane but I'm talking the original WWF Hardy Boyz not the TNA Jeff because he would just jump the stage onto tables, I mean sure it was cool but not as cool as his old stuff like in all the TLC's when he did crazy stunts off huge ladders.

I see your point, shadow. TNA Jeff was alright, but he put WAY too much on the line there. Granted, is was completely NUTS to watch (still have his bound for glory spot on my comp grin ) But WWF Jeff and Matt were off the charts the entire time they were there. With all the people (translated: girls 16-24) behind him, WWE would be braindead not to either pair up Matt and Jeff again, or set Jeff up for a major push. Thoughts?

That will most likely not happen as Lita is not going back to Matt. Nother Subject what should WWE do with Joey Mercury I want him to go 1on1 with Johnny Nitro for some revenge wink

Lita's contract is almost out with WWE and it's highly assumed that she will not be resigning. Same with trish, who is getting married and it looks like she'll be heading out of the business, at least for a while.

I guess TNA has given gail kim the role of a scout for their possible female division. If that goes through, then I wouldn't be suprised if Lita went to TNA. TNA could actually have the best womens division the US has ever seen, if the rumors are true. It would be nice to see a womens division that wasn't all titties.

But you say that because you're a wrestling fan in the sense that you like the actual wrestling. If you're purely an entertainment fan in the sense that you really don't care a lot if the fighting looks half-crap as long as the storyline is interesting (well, we all play Mortal Kombat so I suppose we're all a bit like this lol) then Batista looks way better on a screen than Booker T does. First time I saw Batista - as well as pretty much everybody else I know - my reaction was just "what a f.... animal!" and that's why I say he has more potential in an entertainment sense, he just impresses by being there.

I agree!

Ok, now on to some questions, first a for Zentile:
You independant wrestle, yes, where do you wrestle specifically, and would you ever want to wrestle for WWE or TNA if you could/can, or just stay indie or maybe go toJapan?

Now, is there anyone else on here who wrestles in the indies or in general? I'm curious, and think it's cool to actually be able to talk with people actually in the business on here, makes the conversations enjoyable.

Well wherever I can find work in Portugal... so far there's really only two places to be. APW which promotes around the country (did two shows in the south, one show in the north), and AWL which will start doing monthly shows from September on, promoting in Lisbon. I'm scheduled to be a regular tag team with Cougar (a guy who is an absolutely perfect high flyer) on AWL so I'm guessing I'll be in all their shows in tag matches. Also, one of the best wrestlers in Portugal,a guy called Korvo, is looking to do a big show in Carcavelos (near Lisbon) and I'm assuming I'd be in it aswell. APW promotes wherever it can, from shows in bars to biker shows... I don't think there's been one in an arena yet. Last I heard, the promotion's going to try to do shows in casinos and stuff.
Not sure that's the info you wanted. Basically I just wrestle in Portugal if that's what you were wondering. I'm planning on eventually going to Canada or the Uk or the US to go to a proper wrestling school so I'll have a proper resume, then start wrestling around the world. Would I sign with WWE? No way. Well, I mean, obviously if something completely impossible would happen, like WWE suddenly sending me an invite and a contract, right now in this point in my life I would sign of course. Big money, and make a name for myself, and a great chance to learn from some of the best ever like Angle and Benoit, then the life in the indies would be alot better. But if I was a real indy wrestler (which I hope to become in a few years), I wouldn't sign with WWE unless I felt professionally fulfilled. This means having wrestled in the US, Canada, and Japan, and been an active member of ROH's roster. ROH is my dream. Winning the ROH title would be the absolute biggest achievement I could possibly fulfill. I think I would wrestle for TNA, only because it would mean I could still be having good wrestling matches in the indies. I'm not particularly more attracted to the TNA wrestling style than the WWE style if that's what you mean.
Ok, final, simple answer: If given the chance and I wasn't professionally fulfilled, I wouldn't sign with WWE. I would sign with TNA, since I could go on with the indies. Japan is a big dream, and ROH is a bigger one. I guess I dont want to go to Japan more than ROH since lately it's alot more based on strikes rather than fantastic wrestling and suplexes like in the early 90s. Dream opponents ( I know you didnt ask but while I'm at it...) : Jushin Liger, Jamie Noble (my current idol), Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Bryan Danielson, Paul London, and Scott Steiner.

By the way, speaking of my illustrious carreer, I wasn't really pleased with my matches in Portimao but I would really like to show you guys my match from the Bikers show. I really enjoyed it and I thought it was alot better than my previous matches. If you guys could take some time to watch the match and give me feedback, I'd love it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqxS1o8a0rU - First half of the match
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbHx1njK-Ao - Second half of the match

I'm Kid Joe, my opponent is Bammer, and he's my real life wrestling mentor. Thanks in advance if you guys watch the match.

Lol yeah those bikers were mother fucking crazy, but they were an AWESOME crowd, totally pumped us up. I loved that crowd, especially after the shits crowds in Algarve.
It's funny though cause when we got there, the ref and another APW guy came running to us, looking really serious and said ''you have to make the fights as realistic as possible. if the bikers think it's too fake, they will attack us. Every biker here has at least one knife and a gun. And we're serious, you have to make it as realistic as possible''. And I was like '''ooook...'' and I was actually scared. But man those bikers were FUCKING awesome. They were loving the show, paying attention to the matches, understanding the story in them, it was really great. After the show, me and another wrestler went to have a beer and the bartender was also a biker. Huge guy, with huge beard, all in leather, really tough looking guy. He gave us the beers (which were free cause we werent getting paid for the show), and he was like ''Man... I'm so sorry I couldnt see your matches cause I was here workin. And tomorrow Batista makes his comeback on Smackdown!, and I'll be working again so I wont be able to catch it!''... the bartender Biker...was a MARK. I thought that was awesome, lol.

LOL Bikers are usually misrepresented seriously. Just because they listen to heavy metal and dress like they'll beat you to a pulp people tend to think they're violent but most of them are actually very funny people and fun people to party with. And the girls rock as well wink

The mat wrestling in the first half wasn't that bad at all, I enjoyed it. I love that lucha'esque style you've got, with the headsprings and shit. That's good stuff. I've got a question about the trade, though. How the hell do you perfom gut busters? Seriously, I can understand staying safe on suplexes and what not, but gut busters look like they could fuck you up. Do you just plant your hands and bridge across the knees?

Cool, you'd like to sign with ROH, that's awesome, and TNA. Hope you do consider Canada to train in, I'm sure the Harts still train guys, or even some of the Indie feds, who knows, you could work for that fat load Scott D'amoure! APW sounds cool, are there any well known guys to have come through there?

Nope, it hasn't been around actively for long. It's 14 years old I think, but it just did some shows here in Portugal.
I would like to train in Canada, but it would be with Lance Storm, not the Harts wink . Yep, like I said, ROH is my ultimate goal. WWE would be good for money.... but the goal is ROH.

WCW and the nWo was the best wrestling around, period. Not gonna argue. Goldberg was the best damn wrestler ever, match him up with anyone and he will beat them single handedly. He could have beat Bret Hart and the entire nWo and the so called Outsiders.

Anywho, how many remember the Great American Bash where Hall and Nash were talking to Eric to find out who his three guys were to face them and their surprise buddy, a.k.a. Hulk Hogan. When Hall punched Eric in the gut and then Nash Jackknifed Eric off the stage on a table, that was awesome.

Who remembers the match between Goldberg and The Giant. That match was classic. When Goldberg speared The Giant, I knew that it was over. I was with my family and everyone said The Giant was going to win. I could not believe it when Goldberg Jackhammered The Giant, he had to have held him in the air for about five seconds.
