Yes those are both crap finishing moves...I still think JJ's is worse. I was thinking how did he come up with that piece of shit...then I realized he was probably trying to do a leg sweep and accidently fell forward and broke some dudes nose and thought wow this is great.
Since we are on the topic of finishing moves... I'm curious to know what everyones fav finishers are?

My two favorite finishers would have to be
The Raven Effect and the Pepsi Plunge. Thats not just because Raven and Punk are my two favorites its because those two moves are just the all around coolest.

My favourite finishers right now are Kenta Kobashi's burning lariat, KENTA's "go to sleep" knee attack, Yuji Nagata's "Nagata lock" (a reverse figure four leglock), Genki Horiguchi's "beach break" (a piledriver where Horiguchi lifts the opponent upside down over his shoulders like an alabama slam, but just sits down, driving them head first into the mat with little protection and a lot of precision), the Regal stretch...
And anything Super Dragon does. Psycho drivers, cut throat psycho drivers, moonsault double stomps, stiff lariats and curbstomps, supernatural drivers, phoenix splash's, cobra clutch suplex's, etc. Super Dragon is a fucking monster. Seriously. I think when it comes to sick, devistating, neckbreaking, "knock you the fuck out" offense, he's probably the only person in the US who could compete with the likes of Kobashi, Kawada and Misawa.
Cut throat psycho driver > wristclutch burning hammer.
Wow, that was a long post for just "favourite finishers", heh.

My favourite finishing is Razers edge
Ho-ly-shit. Just found a real gem on youtube.com.
It's the recent (5th of March '06) rematch of KENTA vs Kenta Kobashi. Match of the year, no question, I don't even need to see the rest of this years matches, because nothing is going to be able to compete with this.
Link.
I highly recommend people watch it.

Thanks for the link, I've heard alot about the match so I'll be sure to watch it later.
As for fav finishers, I love the Crossface, and the... RKO! When done perfect it can be my fav.
TNA favs are Angel's Wings (just kicks ass) and the Styles Clash (AJ can hit it from many positions at random times).
Speaking of TNA, Steiner was the one who debuted last night, plus Fallen Angel took Joe's title.

Steiner, oh my god, what the hell is TNA doing?!
Any way, my fav finishers: the F-5 by Lesner; Last Ride by Taker; Jackhammer by Goldberg; and from TNA, I agree with you Rabid, the Angel's Wings and the Styles Clash just kicks ass!
anything beats the peoples elbow, the worm, and other shit moves that take 5 min to do.
my current fav move is pete williams "canadian destroyer"..that flip over pile driver thing..that shits nuts.
ive always love goldberg's spear as well...ouch.

My favourite finishers include both of Goldberg's (he may not be that great, but he always made the Spear/Jackhammer look so intense and real), Angle's Ankle Lock (mostly because of Kurt's screaming and facial expressions), Burchill's C-4 (who cares if it's impossible if it's all fake anyway?), London and Kendrick's old finishers/when they're allowed to use them as well...

Yeah, I too enjoy the canadian destroyer. Though, Brocks shooting star tops them all. They're are many good finnishers, though; hard to pick just one.
Sooo stoked to see Daniels get the x-strap. Kinda anti-climatic for joe, though, meh. It's great to have steiner back, too. Looks like it could be good for the company pushing sting and scott into an angle. I still think steiner makes one hella good bastard heel.
Edit: Oh, and thanks for the link. Also, Daniel Puder won his MMA bout in the first ever legally sanctioned MMA card in California - Shamrock/Gracie. Rocked his opp with a shot then got his back and RNC'ed him after his oppnent failed on a takedown attempt. Anywho....

Why do you say Pirate Burchill's finisher is impossible and fake? How is it either of those, that is an awesome move, and one, btw, I now add as one I like. And I forgot to add the Canadian Destroyer as well, fuck that move looks like it hurts like hell! No fakeness there!

MKGeek, as cool as the Destroyer + C4 look, they aren't exactly possible in real life if a person didn't want it done. I love the moves, but for both you have to flip. With the destroyer you backflip onto your head while Petey sorta guides you. With the C4, you front flip and hope it works out well.

Crow didn't really say it's impossible, I think that was more what I said (which I did). And how could you not see that the move is impossible? : \
Get a buddy to try that move on you and see if it works. It won't. No matter how strong and agile he is, it just will not work because it defies the laws of physics, unlike other wrestling moves which actually would work if they were being performed by somebody strong or agile enough. The C4 wouldn't even work if Big Show tried it on somebody. At least with the Canadian destroyer Petey has a tight grip on the opponent using both his arms and legs to flip them over, but with the C4, Birchill just has one arm across the opponents chest and his hand resting on the back of their neck. It does look great in terms of flashyness, but it would also look great if everybody did a backflip and landed on their head every time they got punched, so, bleh. The entire purpose of pro wrestling is to make the moves look at least somewhat believable. The C4 doesn't do this at all, and it doesn't belong in a wrestling ring, it belongs in a Matrix movie.
But whatever, it doesn't change that Birchill is still a great wrestler.

Yeah, I guess, you and Rabid make good points, it's not like either move could be done on someone like Show or even Taker or Kane. Especially the C4. Both are still awesome moves though, and despite what you say, considering some of the other moves out there, the C4 does belong in wrestling! The other purpose of moves besides "at least somewhat believable", is to entertain and make you say "wow that was something" and the C4 made me say just that!
The line up for the HOF looks damn good this year, and if Verne Gagne of all people can get in, then there's a chance maybe Stu Hart will get in as well, if not this year, than perhaps next year.
