Jbl is facing Benoit at Mania. I like ~Crow's~ list for the Smackdown MITB match, but I think someone from Raw will win, and I think Carlito will be involved some how, it was his idea, after all, to do another MITB match, so he just has to be in some way.

Lashley and Finlay could get in, but I don't know if it's Lashley's kinda match, nor do I see Finlay getting the push for the World Title.

Booker and Booker could get in, but again, I see them having a match at Wrestlemania. Then again, they are fighting on SNME, so it could be these guys.

I tossed Orlando Jordan around in my mind, but I just can't see them pulling him back out of the woodwork to get a shot at the title.

I go...

Hardy
JBL
Benoit

I say these two because it continues the fued, perhaps gets Benoit back in the hunt (BENOIT VS ANGLE wow) and JBL has less to work with 4 more guys working around him.

I hope to god that Finlay nor Lashley are in money in the bank. Not because I don't think they deserve it, because I like them both of them now (cause this Finlay vs Lashley feud kicks some serious ass). I'd LOVE to see them in a NO DQ match at Mania. It'd be an awesome fight.

For my picks for MITB smackdown side I say...

Benoit
JBL
(I hope) Burchill. He could do some sick things in a ladder match. Best thing possible is C4 off a ladder. (wow)

Sorry JBL and Benoit are out, United States Champion Chris Benoit vs. JBL at Wrestlemania 22!

I think:
Booker T,
Matt Hardy,
Lashly or Finley
Orlando, but he's a long shot,

It's sad the Raw has more stars that deserve to be in this match, who don't alreay have another match at Mania, than Smackdown does.

What the hell o_O watching a tag chamber match in 2K6. Abyss + Finlay enter first, but they are on the same team. A couple seconds later they start beating the crap out of eachother then stop. Dirty tactic or just impatient AI?

Lol I had that happen before as well. They walked around for a bit then just starting beating each other up.

No, he doesn't wrestle any more. I'm not sure if you watched during 97, but Owen Hart and he had a match at a ppv, Summerslam maybe, and Owen dropped Austin on his head and wrecked his neck! Austin tried to wrestle for a few more years, but has since retired from active competition, as of after wrestlemania 19. He was involved as Co-GM of Raw and Sherif of Raw for a little while, but after Wrestlemania 21and Raw's homecoming to USA Network, ain't been seen on television.

As for what he's doing now, not much really. Making a movie with WWE films, and he's going to induct Bret Hart into the HOF!

To add a little, he was supposed to come back to fight at last year's "Taboo Tuesday PPV" in a match where the storyline was that if he won Jim Ross would be brought back to RAW. They then told him that the plan was for him to lose (via interference from Mark Henry), but the weekend before the PPV he called WWE and told 'em he had suffered a back or neck injury (which is a bullshit excuse, IMO, but I don't blame him) and wouldn't be able to wrestle.

Could be Goldberg. He's shown interest in helping TNA if they paid him enough money. (Which is just basically 'selling' TNA out. I like Goldberg okay but there's no way he and Sting need to hold down new or young talent so TNA can "battle" WWE with big name stars.)

Anyway, I don't feel Booker is going to the MiTB match because of his fued with The Boogeyman. I feel that's going to be his match as Wrestlemania, so he won't be able to contend. Plus he's been stepping down as a wrestler more and more recently, which may signal the end of his career as an active competitor. I believe he may try commentating or something... I've heard he's tried out for the position.

As much as I love Birchill, the C4/solo Spanish fly/whatever he calls it now is a terrible, terrible move. Horrible finisher. It makes no sense. Whatsoever. It doesn't even make half as much sense as the Canadian destroyer, and that's saying something considering how little sense the Canadian destroyer makes. Why would the opponent just leap into the air and do a front flip because his arm is over your shoulder? Try this: find somebody who can do a backflip and put your arm over their shoulder, then have them do a backflip. See if you get thrown into the air and do a front flip, landing hard on your back. You won't. The guy will just do a backflip and you'll be left standing there looking stupid because there's no force to actually push or pull you through any sort of forward motion. At all.

I'm all for random, pointless flips in wrestling matches, but not at the expense of the laws of god damn physics, haha. It reminds me of a promo for the AJ Styles/Petey Williams title match where Styles said "How am I going to avoid the Canadian destroyer? By not taking it!" (Good one AJ, way to kayfabe). If anybody wanted to not take the C4 all they'd have to do is put their hands on their hips and stand there while Birchill does a flip, lands on his face and dies.

That aside, what makes it so great anyway? Everybody's seen a guy do a front flip before and everybody's seen a guy do a backflip before, nothing new, yet when two guys do them at the same time the entire internet wrestling community creams themselves. confused

They should have stuck with the sick Fujiwara armbar instead of having him bring the C4 back imo.

The only thing holding me back from being 100% on this is they are fighting on SNME. I don't know if they would fight again at WM. Perhaps their SNME match will be a MITB qualifier. Then again, perhaps they will fight again at WM.

As for the TNA thing, didn't Steiner just sign with them? And I know Nash is in talks to return. Could be either one of them, or someone else. All I know is bringing in older guys to team with Sting is a piss poor idea.

I don't like them bringing back old guys either... the reason I like TNA is because it's fresh... has a lot of guys I've never seen before. I honestly don't wanna see a bunch of WCW dicks come and start belt hoggin like JJ.

Speaking of JJ (and this will be rather random) he has to have one of the lamest finishing moves in the history of wrestling.
