Well, Taboo Tuesday will be coming soon, and I still have no idea how they will do the voting. I'm guess you can do it online, but who knows. BTW, SD was okay, but it didn't have anything special IMO. RAW was better. lol @ Flair almost getting fired.

Yeah, Raw was better than Smackdown this week. I can't wait for Taboo Tuesday, it should be an ok ppv. Has to be a hell of alot better than No Mercy, what a shit ppv. The only good thing that came out of No Mercy, was John Cena winning the US title, then turn around and lose it on SD, how stupid was that?

John Cena has a interview in the latest Muscle Fitness magazine. It's a good read if you want to know more about his past. They also show some of his workout tips.Im going to go over to WWE.com and submit some dream matches to Taboo Tuesday. We should all do that to make the WWE better if they listen.

Jesus Christ. That's all I have to say about SD this week. Thats totally f'ed up, John Cena getting the U.S. Title and then losing it next week to Carlito Muthafuggin Cool, Billy Kidman turning from a caring Mr. Nice Guy to a heartless thug that would give a BK Bomb to Miss Jackie practically overnight for no clear reason , and John Heidenreky (who I may remind you, is being referred to as a "Retarded Goldberg" backstage) getting unneeded TV time for the umpteenth time with his poetry is getting me pretty fed up with WWE.
On the subject of Taboo Tuesday (in my opinion, doomed to the land of Over-Hyped Gimmicks), I'm not totally right on with it. Carmella getting on it again just because WWE wants her in (allow me to use a metaphor here, imagine Survivor where the winner is given the 1 Million Dollars, but then the guy that lost is given 1 million dollars just because the network wanted him to win), predictable matchups, and the fact that WWE can take any cool idea and screw it up beyond repair (cough...Diva Search...cough) are making me more than a little annoyed about it.
As for RAW...
This is very likely the last we will ever see of Kane the Heel for a while. He's going to go from a psychotic madman that hates everyone and everything, to a holy warrior who wants revenge about the death of his wife's baby, JR kissing his ass and all, overnight.
Also, L'il Ricky Flair got in trouble for the "Virgin" promo on RAW. Also I have heard that he is planning on retiring soon on Headline Planet (although I'm sure that the moment that Ric Flair retires from Professional Wrestling is the moment that Barney the Dinosaur will knock down my door and tap dance on my stomach while singing "Copacabana" while the Smurfs show up and kick me in the groin repeatedly).

I think it's fair to mention tho that Carmella was a plant. She was hired by the WWE a while ago. That's why they all teamed up on her and what not. She was going to stay no matter what. I am glad they did the contest as they did tho, and had a real winner. I think Taboo Tuesday might be decent, if it's really up to the fans to vote. In any event, it's a good way to get Benoit back into the title race.

I guess this post isn't really on topic, but i'm not sure there is one, and it's wrestling related, so here we go.
(Beware, extreme current day wrestling world ignorance ahead)
[Also note that I haven't followed this thread at all really, so don't chew my head off...or at least go easy on me]
A few days ago, I was flipping through channels, and I decided to catch a Smackdown show, because i haven't watched any wrestling in about 3 years, and I thought it'd be interesting see what things were like nowdays.
It pained me, simply put. The more I watched, the more I thought what I was seeing was a joke. Apparently not.
My thoughts are as follows...
Who the fuck was this John Bradshaw Layfeild guy, and why was he kicking the crap outta the Undertaker (who has by the looks of things gone back to his old gimmick? how the hell did this happen? It doesn't really fit nowdays. It's hard to look 'evil' when you have your wifes/girlfriends(?) name tatooed on your throat) with the help of Viscera and Gangrel, two talentless clowns that served as the Undertaker's lacky's back in the day?
Then I noticed an announcer say "clothesline from hell", and a chill ran down my spine. Is this really the same "Bradshaw" that used to job with uh...that other guy whose name I can never spell properly...the "APA" guy? If so, then...I don't even know what to say. Can somebody clear this up for me?
Aside from that oddity, the matchups were, well, less than spectacular. With me being a WCW loyalist, it was rather nice to see "Big show" (I'm still not entirely used to that name...even though he's been WWE'ing it up for all these years, it still feels to me like people are mispronouncing "Giant", which I realise is lame, but still, it just feels right) kicking ass again, because i'm aware that Vince has kind of misused him in the past, not that he's really that talented anyway, but still, somebody that big should be a major player in any wrestling fed.
What the hell happened to Rey? He looks nothing like himself...he just seemed really...er, "beefed up" compared to the days when he was a lean, mean, bulldog Kidman's ass from the top rope, machine. He looked like he could have press slammed the old Rey. And Eddy? Shit, that's some push. No more Mr Midcard At Best huh.
The wrestling itself all seemed very sloppy, almost to the point where it could have been dangerous, people were fumbling about with basic moves and landing in weird positions. The wrestlers themselves (the one's I recognised) looked out of shape compared to what they used to be too. Everything just sort of seemed well, unco, for lack of a better word.
On to the backstage antics, why was there a big sweaty guy trying to rape people and/or read them poetry?
After I finished shaking my head, and picked my jaw up off the floor, a few days later, I decided to see how the RAW franchise was going (i'm still not used to WWE being divided yet either).
It was infinitely better, but somehow, still shit. Last time I saw Kane, he was still a monster. A red clad, masked, 7 foot monster. Now? Uh...what the fuck was this? No mask? I was sort of aware of that, and some other stuff because i played HCTP, but he hardly looked the monster he was always made out to be back in the day. He was doing an interview wearing a button up shirt for god's sake! Then I hear he's married to Lita, and futhermore, she was pregnant with his child. Jesus. That is beyond bizzare. Remember when he first stormed in, and ripped the cage open (No Way Out, I think?)? That's the Kane i remember. The freak with the metallic 'voice'.
His character has been raped to the point where I wouldn't have recognised him, had I not played HCTP, and seen what his face sort of looks like.
However,
His storyline at the moment is interesting. I've never seen such a storyline in the wrestling world before, so that's a plus.
Ric Flair: Why does he look like some sort of marine life? Is that really him? If so, it's hard to believe somebody's looks can change so drasticly over such a short period of time. Interesting to see he isn't dead yet too.
Triple H: Bahaha! Where's your phyisque now you wanker! If this industry was half of what it should be, he would have to actually show his talent, but of course, it isn't, so he cruises by with shit all effort, by the looks of things anyway. In my opinion, he isn't champion material, and it seems most people feel the same way.
Benjiman Shelton: Impressive. Of all the new comers (and ya'know, by new comers I mean people I didn't see wrestling 3 years ago or so) I saw wrestle over these 2 shows, he has impressed me the most. He has talent. He was still sloppy like everybody else, but I can see the talent there. Sort of lacks personality though. (excuse me if i spelt his name wrong, i'm new to what they call "wrestling" today)
Shawn Micheals: Are you kidding me? I thought he retired. Great to see him back in action.
Randy Orton: Great mic skills, but from the little I saw, he was nothing special. Maybe I just haven't seen enough.
I could really go on about what I think, but i'm sure that if you haven't stopped reading by now, you're about to, so i'll leave it that for now. All in all, the whole WWE is barely watchable, but i'm going to gave it a few more shows to prove to me it's worth my time. RAW seems to outclass Smackdown to no end from what i've seen, has more talent in general, and more interesting storylines.
The desecration of all these wrestlers gimmicks is a crying shame though.
PS: before you ask me what rock i've been living under, it's the rock known as 'The collapse of WCW', which I realise wasn't that long ago, but I never really followed the WWF too much before that.

Hopefully Raw will be good this week. It's not the last Raw before Taboo Tuesday, but it still should help build up the ppv.
Official Raw Preview:
From WWE.com
A historic Monday Night RAW will take place this week as the WWE invades Manchester, England.
The largest arena in the United Kingdom has been sold out for weeks, waiting for whats sure to be another explosive RAW.
After all of the major announcements that came last week at Madison Square Garden regarding Taboo Tuesday, what else could we possibly learn about the interactive pay-per-view?
Also, will Kane be able to wait until Taboo Tuesday to get his hands on Gene Snitsky, who beat the Big Red Monster down with a lead pipe at MSG?
Since WWE fans will be playing the role of GM for Taboo Tuesday, its critical nobody misses RAW from the UK (9/8 CT Spike TV).

Yeah, the whole GM thing is getting a little old, but always having Vince on the tube was getting old too, so that's kinda why the whole GM thing was started.
Who thinks Raw was boring?? The main event was good, and all, but the show lacked the usual excitement.

Just more of the same really, I have only been occasionally watching. It is clear that wrestling will never again achieve the hights of the monday night wars, as i have said previously WWE needs competition. Had it not been for Eric Biscoff ending the wrestler jobber scenario that had been ongoing wrestling would have been over. Also it appears that it will take some time for TNA to provide it. (Matt Hardy wrestling for the championship! Give me a break.)
Well enough wingeing, the WWE has had some successes over the past year with the character of Eugene being so popular. It is comic relief that has been the only high point for the WWE.
Less run-ins and less jokers being placed as title contenders (John Cena, Randy Orton are the man ones) Also people like Y2J and the Bookerman need to be number 1 contenders.

I don't think TNA will be a big threat to the WWE.TNA is more about wrestling than it is storyline.A good wrestling show should have both.I miss WCW...Hopefully TNA will pick up the pace.Their show on Fox Sports is okay.Nothing like the PPV commericials I've seen.If TNA had a later time slot I think they could make it like the PPV's.

You might want to re-think that. If noone has heard this yet, heard/read that TNA is planning to bring their show Impact to TSN in Canada, so that is a semi-direct blow to the WWE right there. Plus with Victory Road down the road (sorry for the pun!!), this could be the thing to put TNA on the map, I miss WCW to, but it's time to let that stay in the past.

Quick question, who is going to do the Royal Rumbles now that Patterson is gone? Probably HHH with him being #1 and eliminating everyone.
You're all booing me.... but last night, at the royal rumble, in this very ring, I proved to you all that I am the game. I proved to all of you, that I am the game, and that I am that damn good. I was the first one in, last one out, and for the 5th time in a row, I won the royal rumble. In this very ring, men stood up agaisnt me. They clawed at me, they scratched, and you all cheered them on. But I proved to you once again, that I am the game. In this very ring. The game. In this very ring. My world title. At wrestlemania, I will become a billion time world's champion, and there's nothing any of you can do about it.
Because I am the game

Because I know someone who works for Euroshop, I was able 2 see RAW and Smackdown! in Manchester, and was also able to see the wrestlers in the hotel after the Raw event, much like Wrestlemania just gone, where I was able to do the exact same thing
The wrestlers are reely great to talk to [some more than others!]
And among other things, I ave a video of Cena sayin "hey carl whats up?"
[Carl being me, of course]
Hope other UK fans enjoyed it as much as I did.
Other than that, Im currently lookin into a few WWE media sites which violate strict laws pertaining to WWE media.
So if you know something I dont...let me know, and I can email my good friend Stacey Del Priore!
Thanks!

Dude, what do you mean "WWE Media sites which violate strict laws"? I don't get it, are you doing something illegal??
Sorry Rabid_Wolverine, I've never heard of that fed, or any of those guys. My guess is that it's a local Indy Fed doing a show.
