Wow, the mini-game sounds cool, and I only wish I subscribed to this magazine. Even though I don't have an x-box, I'm tempted to buy this magazine. Maybe the OPM magazine will have a similar article.

This is GREAT news which I knew about from MKOutworld but glad MKO posted it as well.
The select screen is fucking MASSIVE!!!! LMAO....
damn is all I have to say lol.
Noob and Smoke going their seperate ways =AWESOME!!!
Glad Midway did that honestly, it's better that way.I bet you in the storyline Smoke realized what Noob was doing and broke loose from him or something.

Those two "?" marks may be one of my recomendations that I made to the team for "Hidden Select". Some online players have a history of counter picking their opponent (i.e. I picked Mileena so you counter pick with Kobra, Bo Rai Cho, Dairou etc.), you know who you are. The Hidden Select feature will allow you to pick your character without your opponent knowing who you have chosen, thus creating for a more random and balanced experience. The feature may work similar in fashion to the method of placing the bomb at the beginning of a Chess Kombat match. I made sure to emphasize just how annoying counter-picking can be online and they agreed.
It's funny that they agreed to place all the characters on the same select screen display. At the show, I was informed that Ed Boon was totally against doing that because he didn't want the character pics to be small thumbnails. We reccomended that they set it up like the way it is now and it looks like they finally broke him down
. So far, it looks great! Now, here's to hoping that they have included a low parry to counter sweeps and low pokes.....
Peace

I'm very pleased to hear about the Character Select Screen and the separation of Noob and Smoke. Maybe Smoke has rebelled against Noob since Deception. That would be awesome. Oh and I know this isn;t really the best spot for this, but who else hates the not totally black version of Noob in Deception? and the Smokes with each version of Noob should have been swapped around.
Maybe Noob thought Smoke was too weak and not evil enough to be his ally as Smoke's soul wasn't tainted enough to stay in the netherrealm. I dont understand why everyone wants Daegon, how do you know so much about him? I mean i know he isTaven's brother but why is he so important.

It's not reality yet because Capcom will have to agree to it and I don't see them doing that while Mortal Kombat has such poor fighting mechanics.

Well, what I'd see them doing is making a 2D game. How's it's gone in the past with SNK is that Capcom was allowed to make a Vs. game and SNK was allowed to make a Vs. game. So you'd probably get a badly broken Midway version (like SNK Vs. Capcom: Chaos) and a flawed but still playable Capcom version (Capcom Vs. SNK 2).
Problem is... If they went the 2D route Capcom would probably still use Morrigan's original Darkstalker sprite and other old ass Alpha sprites like Zangeif, Blanka, and Sagat.
Do you hear me, Capcom? Update your friggin' sprites!
This really brightened me up when I read this. The bad thing is just that in Finland they don't sell Xbox magazines. And if they do, not in every store. I really hope that they will make a better version of human Smoke. Then my all wishes are filled of MK:Armageddon.
Ps. I think I know what are the 63rd and 64th characters. 63rd character is the character made by player one and 64th character is the character made by player two. You know, you can fight by your friends created fighter.

i hope they have a playable demo for ps2 or xbox. i'm dying to play this game. the kart kombat idea seems pretty cool. to all you noob-smoke bashers, the noob-smoke team was pretty cool and very strong. the only reason why you guys whined about noob and smoke being seperate characters was because you guys could not use them well.

I'm totally excited about all this new news! It's about time we hear/see some new stuff! I think Motor Kombat will be awesome, my only complaint is that it only has 10 characters . . . I'd much rather have every single character or close to it to race as . . . but oh well it still sounds like an awesome and exciting game mode! Hopefully we'll be getting some more news in the near future! Peace Out
Engin_fc, people hated the Noob-Smoke team cause we felt cheated that they combined two characters into one and took the lame way out. They both deserve to be their own seperate characters.
The new selection screen is cool. I'd rather the characters be paired up by the game they were in rather than the kind of character they are (ex: all ninjas paired together). I'm pretty happy that Khameleon and Meat have a chance now to be included.
However, I'm upset with Motor Kombat. This is the super secret? A cheap Mario Kart ripoff? I was expecting like a Tournament Mode or Tag Team Mode, something worthwhile. Not this piece of crap. Why Boon, why?

I don't think it's a Mario Kart ripoff per-se, look at crash ban same thing but different.
This will be a MK racing mode that has DT's, special moves to use different then Mario Kart where in that game you have to pick up items, it looks like in MK:A the character you pick will have powers already so that's good.
BTW, has anyone else noticed that the first row are ALL the ninjas? lol
I like that.
