I thought Motoro was a cool sub-boss in MK3, and I was excited to hear he'd be in MKA. Too bad he won't be.

I truly hate to be so negative, but I'd rather not have him in the game.

Doesn't really bother me. It was either have him in the game but make him playable, IE: two legs. He simply would not have worked with 4 legs, I gaurantee you, it just wouldn't work with the current engine OR not put him in the game and deal with intense/harsh critcism from all of the fans of him. This is the safe route, put him in the game when he's actually useable but with a significant change. You'll please half of the crowd and make half of the crowd angry. Thats why I generally say you'll only see one Chameleon. They'll do some story thing to explain why there is only one or that there was always only one. You got that person in the game with something workable, and you please some poeople but not all.

Better to get the character in, and please half the crowd, then to exclude them entirely and deal with the constant barrage of Where is Motaro? Which they already dealt with sort of when it was speculated that he wouldn't be in the game. The complaints of his absence are why he's here with 2 legs essentially.

they should have made him look more like a minataur and gave him a different name . he looks like shit now

Honestly i don't care, if I had to choose I'd definitly would have the front half of motaro, then no motaro at all. Not so sure about the back half though...

Well, why does he have a tail if sheeva cut him 2 pieces, I wish they would just leave him out, that is not motaro, motaro has 4 legs, I could completely understand that it would be 2 hard to put him in the game, so just leave him out i wouldn't care, but changing him this much is inexcusable, with all the hype about him, keeping him a secret wanted made me think he would be special, 4 legs is what seperates him for the other characters.

i was just going to make a thread on motaro. i think he looks stupid. whats the point of having him. He"s not even half man half horse or aleast he doesnt look like it. they could have just brought back goro and kintaro and would have been happy.

Think about moving up and down in a 3D environment. as a horse. You've rode a horse in other games right? How would Motaro do that, Stand in one place, rotate 45 degree's move a step or two and then rotate again to face the opponent again? He would get annihliated. The only fix is to make him move completely unrealistic and look aboslutely ridiculous in the process, making movements no Centaur creature would ever be capable of making. I've never seen a horse strafe/shuffle left/right.

It's either this or nothing and personally I think this is better than nothing. The odds of Motaro going to the next game were very slim as it is, so it's better to have him in some form for one last hurrah.

I have a feeling the MK team decided to put Motorro in the game when people started complaing they coulden see Motorro in the first MKA cast render. Seriously, the mk team just rushed this model. It looks like absolute crap. 2 legs? What the heck. His tail looks really weird too.
