WHY DID THEY MAKE HER FACE LOOK SOO HARD! It should had been softer like her ingame model!! Sure I still think this is the best Sonya ever and I honestly think she looks pretty/sexy/wicked, but they did SCREW UP with the face by making it soo hard. She could had looked BETTER!

Just because a woman is tough doesn’t mean she cant be really really beautiful. I know the important thing is the in-game model, but still, the artist who did this must already KNOW a female shouldnt have such strong features:

I definitely think she looks waay too hard on the face and her features should be more feminine, but that doesnt make her ugly. And still, that doesnt mean they did justice to her beautiful character. So its not perfect, at all.

I absolutely LOVE the HAIR!

Im very surprised and pleased they did it exactly the way I have been hoping for ages! It looks so emo/goth like, it really suits her amazingly! I really really wanted her to have some hair bangs, but I didn’t expect them to look this fantastic!

I also love her face expression and the pose (her face should be softer you know, Im dissapointed it looks too hard). She looks soooo sexy but still very very tough and angry: Badass! Sonya looks like she is about to crush the world. I think the costume is superb, they did an excellent job capturing her classic essence as well as mixing it up with new elements: the futuristic gloves, the pants, the boots, the sexy top, everything is superb!!! (Like someone said, I cant believe this T game has a woman showing bits of her nipples! O_O! Sexy!)

Moving on, I really love the cool detail of the tan-lines of her thong on her body, it looks brilliant! Very sexy, I wonder if they took out the thong because of the "T" thing...but then again, she has those huge things there so I dont know.

Finally, the background is very cool. I hope this means we will get an OIA background in the game, it would rock to finally see her base of operation!

Overall, the pose is superb, the detail and quality is great, Sonya should had looked more beautiful but Im glad she looks very tough, and finally, THE HAIR ROCKS!

I can see what you mean but she's got a long way to go before she becomes anything like the DOA or SC characters. Those are far worse lol. I actually don't mind the size of her chest. As for the nipples, well it happens lol. She probably noticed and that's probably why she has that expression on her face! Anyway, Sonya looks good and her chest isn't the main focus here. My eyes hit the boots first!

Wow.. first off I like how the high res isn't as large as the previous so we can't rip on the textures again. The outfits not horrid though, but a bit over the top. You can clearly see she's nipping and the thong tan line is ridiculous. Someone has been playing DOA way too much. (and yes same can be said of SC4 and others) So while I like the simplicity, the "giggity" hints kill it.

One last thing, this is not an attack on Sonya! (she's a badass) it's an attack the designers.

I forogt to mention I like how they've added the tan lines where her thong used to be. I like the background too. It reminds me of Guile's Street Fighter 2 background. Hopefully this area will be a new stage.
