Other than that, I think she looks great. I like this look much better than the recent games.

Well...not that it's a big deal to me or anything, but I like that Kitana has brown eyes. I think it's silly when a character's eyes just happen to match their outfit.

For instance, Sub-Zero. What's up with him having blue eyes? He's half-Chinese. The only time his eyes should be blue is when they're glowing that way because he's using his powers, or something.

looks kind of cartoony and out of place. I went to the worldscollide website, and Kitana picture was was right above Sonya's. Kitana looks toony compared to Sonya and the rest of the MK cast.

Anyways, it's still a great render.

I think the costume works. Seeing as its in the MK2-3 area, a somewhat classic costume works best for the characters.

Its OK, it doesnt blow me away, I think the head could use some work, other than that its good.

I'm not going to disagree, especially since I've heard this stated back and forth throughout the years, but... is that really canon? Not saying you're wrong (I'd hope you're right), but where is this stated?

As for the render, I actually love the fog-coated colors. It reminds me of the 128-bit Dreamcast graphics. Not saying that's artistically good, but I love it like chicken soup.

I love the render, but there is something too young and innocent about her eyes... like something Team Ninja would make (just without the impossibly perfect tits)

Its about time they released one of the baddest & toughest chicks in MK (along with Mileena, Sindel; Sareena). Her concept is great, thank god she looks nothing like the scary man Sonya.

People need to chill out about the rainbow. It's not some sort of mixed signal or representation of Edenia or her character. It's nearly improbable to have a large waterfall like that and not have a rainbow. If anyone disagrees I suggest doing some research on rainbows.

Maybe, scientifically speaking, it is only there because of the mist coming off the waterfall. BUT...Edenia gets its name from the Garden of Eden, it's supposed to be the most perfect, beautiful, lush realm. So why NOT have one anyway?

Plus it's kinda funny.

Im not a big fan of the texture of her outfit, it looks like kevlar... i like her in lighter stuff... I gotta admit I think Kitana is one of the few that they nailed perfectly outfit-wise in DA...

The picture looks good people. The only things that might be "wrong" are some minute mistakes like her eyes being mis-positioned, or the composition of her bodily proportions. That, and maybe the picture needs to be sharpened once or something. Really small stuff, but the image is a good one.

Tell you the truth I'm happy with the fact that she looks like a "she", that her boobs aren't gargantuan, and that they didn't put that hideous pun on the back of her head. They complied with the fan demand in this picture. Makes me happy that I can see it in the picture whether that compliance is actually the case, or not. It looks like they listened to the Kitana fanbase on this one.

Far as the rainbow distaste, "wow". It's Edenia people, it's supposed to be a very magical, very beautiful place in the MK Universe. It makes so much sense for a rainbow to be in that world, Kitanas home world, I didn't even pay it any mind. lol

There's barely even a rainbow there in the first place. haha...

Looks nice, just wish the outfit wasn't so patchy. I don't really like the mix of blue and black bits all over, i would've preferred something a little simpler, but with some more intricate detail. Mileena's MK:D outfit comes to mind. And it would have been nice to see her with her fans.

And the background looks amazing, let's hope this does turn out to be a playable stage.

Too bad that they didn't include her fans in the render, would've looked nice if she did a cool pose with those.

MK renders/graphics will probably never compare to current gen like Soul Calibur IV or DOA, but I really like theis Kitana render even if it's not in the least graphically amazing. I love her design and elegant hair and stance. Thank god she actually looks like a woman.
It's my birthday today and look I get a beautiful Kitana render ^-^!

Hopefully she makes it to the roster...

Regarding the rainbow, I think some people believe it somehow suggests Kitana is less of a fighter or implies that she is somehow softer or fluffier than her fellow MK warriors. However, that kind of falls apart when you look at Kitana herself and note she's clearly in a fighting pose wearing an outfit for combat.

Personally, I like how she fits into the background. She's dressed in her dark, leathery ninja outfit, while standing in this bright idyllic paradise. I like the contrast of her character with the world she lives in. It suits her.



I can see it. More than just they being icons. Both warrior princesses. Both have calm, even-tempered demeanors. Both have conflicting natures. Both have a fondness for fighting in semi-armored bathing suits.

Edenia doesn't look all that different than Themyscira either.

Both are my favorites, so I'll get a kick out it if they are.

I don't think it looks bad. But something about her face is just.... off. She looks kinda chubby and boated in the face and her eyes just seem like lazy or drugged out or dilated or something....

I fiddled around with the face. I don't know if it's an improvement, but it was fun to do.


That and, er, yes, Kitana seems to be packing some sort of weaponry in her crotch area. Just when I thought Sonya was the last of the shemale warriors.... *sigh*
