hey all you x box haters need to chill and x box owners need to chill okay i know x box has better grafics and i know i own an xbox but it might be false infomation or maybe change there mind and xbox imo is way better at fighting game then ps2 doa proves it and graphics and loading time but its sucks if it is delayed iv benn waiting for 6 months for this game and so do you guys /girls what ever but chill for a while

This sucks, if its true. The best time for an MK game is the week it is released because everyone is scrambling to find any hidden secret and damn the players guide, even though everything is already revealed.

Lets hope Midway held back a few things from the players guide writers so we have something to search for.

I don't know why everyone's making such a big fuss over this! It's not like the game got cancelled or something!

Think about the other people who live in other countries that have to wait even longer to get the game!

Well, I'm thinking this is a mistake or they're not sure.

When I called up my EB and gamestop, they said that according to their computers MK:A for the PS2 is the 10th and the 12th for the xbox.

We'll see.........

What did I tell you?. Jk. I guess 1 week wont hurt. it sure as hell beats waiting 8 months again. I have a ps2 but I have no cords and I dont have online 4 ps2. Thats why im gettin xbox version over ps2 version.

Thank gawd it's just the X-Box being delayed. Sorry for those with an XB, but it doesn't affect me. Pretty odd though, can't remember something like this happening in the past. XB isn't getting any new features, the most fans can hope for is the Kollector's Edition, but I doubt that too since UMK3 is being sold on XBL.

LOL! The level of immaturity is unbelievable on this board. So be it, the Xbox version gets delayed. It could have been much worse! I was actually expecting more grim news such as: "Xbox version cancelled" but this is a welcome relief. I'm sure that Midway has their reason for the delay.

I am fortunate eough to have both systems, so I don't have to wait to play the game. Unfortunately, I will have to wait to play the superior version which also has a superior online set up. No biggie, I'll just play my PS2 buddies and brave the cheats for a week lol!


Have patience Xbox fans! Be polite Sony fans! I'm sure you don't want to here it from the 360 fans when the exclusive, downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto 4 hits the 360 next year and not the PS3.

and yes i am an x-box owner.

- Yes, first of all MK:A is only delayed one week for the Xbox. Just one. It is neither canceled nor dropped etc,etc.

- Second, known facts say that online play is better on the XBox than on the PS2. You pay for XBox Live but you get a better service.

- Furthermore, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is a previous-gen game INTENDED for relase on multiple platforms. PS2 owners are acting as if they pulled one over M$ and the Xbox 360.

- In the long run, it is the M$ who has the more popular franchises and original exclusives. PS3 has Devil May Cry 4, MGS 4, which in their own right are great games but not enough to compete against the 360 exclusives.

- Sony has to get their act straight. Their keynotes and presentation offer all these flashy gimmicks like "Blu-ray this, and motion-sensor that". But in the long run I think that Sony will indeed crash and burn by offering these expensive hardware to a public who is not quite ready for it.

- Without straying too far from topic at hand, Xbox and 360 owners: relax.
Its only one week. So people, seriously grow up. It's just a game and it's just one week.
