Actually, no he's not lying. My source at midway has confirmed this. Their storylines will be:

Tremor:
Long thought dead after the "bunny incident" which cost Motaro two of his legs, Tremor has recently reappeared. He claims to know the location of Motaro's legs, and is trying to pawn that information to the highest bidder.

Khameleon:
Another supposed victim of the "bunny incident", Khameleon has recently reappeared as well. She appeared as a special guest on the Colbert Report, where she claimed "Reptile is hawt" as well as "I am so going to bitch-slap Chameleon for stealing my name". Only time will tell if these cryptic messages come true.

In all seriousness, I am somewhat angered. I have both, but I preordered it for X-Box. Damnit. I hope this isn't Boon selling out to Sony. If it is, someone get me my machete, we're going hunting.

To all you PS2 owners who decided to take the occasion to bash the Xbox and Microsoft - grow up. Seriously. "Haha! u get jipped out of a video game for a week! sony rulez!" I don't know why you guys think you're going to be "privy" to all the secrets and cool stuff the game has to offer, because it's all going to be in game guides and on the internet, anyway. So anyone who doesn't care about spoilers can just look at it (Like myself. I knew most of the stuff about the last couple of games a couple of months before I'd actually gotten them.).

I don't know what it is with gamers having some sort of personal hatred towards other gaming companies and communities. It's like an elementary school playground, with worse grammar.

Dude, I am an American, I am sad that MKA is being delayed, but seriously. I've waited since it's announcement. One week more or less ain't gonna kill me. And hell, if you want your own personal Schadenfreude, remember the PAL people are getting the game even later than US X-Box owners.

I think a week delay is well worth the wait to play as those two additional powerhouses. Im psyched! Supposedly Tremor has Motaro like proportions

I feel sorry for Xbox users. I have two friends with Xboxs and they both want MKA. I don't think I want to see their reactions when I tell them that. No worries for me, I'm a PS2 owner.

Having Tremor and Khameleon is the only thing I can think of that would keep me from being super pissed right now. Armageddon was supposed to be released on my b-day; like a little gift to me from Boon & The Gang. Now it'll be someone else's b-day gift. sad

well be pissed because tremor or khameleon will not but in MKA.
why would it take a week to make a two whole characters, i think it takes a little more time to develop two characters properly.

and if they had wanted to put those two in they would already be there with not delay.

I demand to know who is responsible for this delay!! There must be problems with production of the XBOX games because 1 week is obviously not enough time to quick throw extras in a game. Plus the game was already finished being created a few weeks ago soo.......what is going on!!!??furious

To be honest I couldnt care less as us Aussies only have the choice of the
PS2 version anyways so it phases me not the slightest, although if there
are extras in the Xbox version I might be pissed off with not even having the
option to purchase it.

I wonder if there was a sudden reformatting done to allow region free for PAL owners decided a few weeks ago and we are only being told about the delay now.
