MKD alt simply because it's different.

Tsk, a tough one between his "classic" and MK2011 look. I'm gonna go with classic in the end...

Next up is the cleric of fun, I mean chaos, Havik! First appearance in Deception, subsequent identical appearance in Armageddon. The outfit in Noob's MK9 ending is the same as the primary. (I checked)

Hard to choose this time, because both costumes are really good, but i'm going with primary because that mask really does say a lot about his hardy nature, and doesn't cover too much of the rotting face, so he still looks creepy. The alternate is a bit too robed for him too, I think.

I'll take primary. It keeps the feeling of chaos without the feeling of sloppiness, yet also is not too refined.

Havik's Alternate.

I hate his freaking hair in his Primary.

The only real difference between his primary and the MK9 look is he doesn't have the sleeve on one arm. And the way his face is painted makes it look less fleshy, more skull-y. Not a big deal really.

Anyway, I pick the primary. The alt looks too much like a ninja. Which makes sense since it started out as a Noob Saibot design, but the point remains.

exactly the same game appearances as Havik (as well you know), with just two costumes:

Well, here we have two costumes that vary very little. The primary has flags but no helmet and a cloth front flap, the alternate has a helmet but no flags and a metal front flap. Everything else is really just the same. I personally like the samurai flags, but the fact that they're tattered doesn't really fit in with the 'order' theme. I vote alternate, the full Seidan guardsman armour with helmet makes him look more impersonal, like someone who strictly adheres to order would.

Hotaru - primary.

primary. i just like the flags alot. it kinda reminds me of sc2 yoshimitsu.

Primary. I also like the flags. And his alt's helmet looks too much like Cyrax.

His primary. It depicts him more as a "judge", an order fanatic.
But the flags shouldn't be tattered.

Alt. Makes him look almost like a Kamen Rider.

I don't really like the guy, but I guess I'll pick his alternate.

At least then I don't have to see his face, and I can pretend he's Cyrax or something.

I'm soley focusing on costume here, any other issues can go on the Jade thread. Again, origins don't need to be explained for this character I'm sure.

I'm going to state the obvious, just for effect. If no-one has noticed yet, Jade's (along with Kitty's and Milly's) MK9 primary costume is an amalgamation of the MKT and MKD outfits.

Anyway, Jade's never been averse to showing her skin. In fact only once has she not shown cleavage (must be why she's so popular). I'm not totally comfortable voting for anything too skimpy TBH, but that doesn't leave many options. The MKD alt hair is brilliant, but the corset and suspenders (although attractive) don't sugget 'fighter'. The MKD primary 'Amazon' look is really cool too, but again, a little too skimpy. The MK9 outfits are really revealing, and i can't take her seriously, even though i like the chains. I don't want to vote for a colour-swap costume either, even though they really are good. My final decision? MKSM. The crazy cool gloves and the fact that it's similar to all the costumes but still yet it brings the best elements of all of them together to form a 'typical' Jade look swings it for me.
